"Food was excellent but service was not up to the standard I would expect for this type of place. Friendly but not very quick or pro-active. (i.e. If you serve fries, I would provide ketchup with the plate so the server does not have to bring separately and the guest does not have to wait). I know good food takes time to prepare. However, I have been to many 5 Star restaurants and not had to wait as long. Maybe an odd thing to say, but entrée portion sizes are a little big for this type of menu (i.e. ala carte sides etc.) Food was very unique and flavourful. Servers were very good at conveying the restaurant theme and how the food is prepared in that manner. Ambiance and décor is spectacular both day and especially at night."

"Actually dined at Mesazul twice while attending a conference. We had the same waiter each time and the service was great. I recommend the filet over the strip steak. We had a beautiful view and great attention was paid when I mentioned it was our anniversary. (A champagne toast and special dessert with a candle!)"

"Crab cakes to die for only one other place have I had them as good. The chicken and pork entrees ok nothing to write home about. Beautiful setting. Waiter was attentive. Check earlier trying to see if could move reservation up told no it was too busy. Interestingly when I got there quite a few empty tables ... they could of moved us up. oh well.. we still had a good time."

"Lovely interior with great view. Food was good for lunch, a lot of variety. However, it was nothing that blew my socks off. The only comment that I have is concerning the price. I thought, for lunch, at $32 a person, it is pricey. It was not a $32 meal."
