  • "Excellent service. Steaks are always cooked to perfection."

  • "Had a wonderful experience on date night! Everything went great to include service, food, drinks and atmosphere."

  • " We were seated and this stoic, ungracious waitress asked for drink orders immediately when we sat down and the 6 of us did not even get a chance to look at the drink menu. When we ordered the drinks, she immediately wanted our food orders...and when we said we needed a bit more time ......she scowled at us. We felt rushed so we gave our order. The food was less than mediocre at best, the steaks were not high quality and the crab cakes like dozen grocery store. Since there were 6 of us they automatically charge a 20%, could that be why they rushed us and had a lousy attitude? Maybe El Paso needs more competition in the fine dining area.....because this was like Outback Steakhouse, except worse.....for really big bucks! "

  • "I usually do not like spicy food, but the Southwest Escargot was incredible. It is one of the dishes I will think about in the future."

  • "Every trip I make to El Paso I make sure to eat at Mesa Street. The southwestern flair is great. Ahi tuna tacos are one of best appetizers I have ever had. I would recommend those. Filet is always cooked perfectly and sides are a nice compliment to the dinner. Mesa Street is appropriate sound level for normal conversation and wait staff is always friendly and helpful."

  • "Grab your wallet! My wife and I dined at MSG for dinner recently. We both had salads with added proteins (fish) and iced-tea we also shared one appetizer. The tab was $65.00 (ouch!). Service was outstanding! The ambiance is both unique and fresh. My Caesar salad was very sad for a few reasons. The portion was small; Caesar salads are typically made with the green part of the romaine lettuce leaf. My salad[ that night] was the yellow stem-pieces of the romaine leaf. While still edible it was rank to my palate. In fairness I have had a Caesar salad at MSG for lunch previously. The lunch portion was huge; and in fact I had a difficult time finishing the bowlful of green leafage."

  • "Great place. Will return. I was surprised at the amount of people waiting for a table. Could use a better wait room."

  • "Food is very expensive. I would say the nicest restaurant I've seen in El Paso. Food was pretty good. The place is very romantic."

  • "Waiter seamed mad, was polite but sure not cheery. Food was amazing service was good. Nice to have a place a little more upscale."

  • "Great food and perfect to celebrate my parents anniversary. Fine dining is hard to find in El Paso, glad we went to Mesa Grill to experience something we hadn't had in a long time. It's our new favorite spot."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "All courses were served all at once. Apparently, we had confused the server, but she could/should have asked for clarification. Embarrassed, she hid the rest of the evening. The Greek salads were so salty that neither my wife nor my mother could finish them. El Paso needs more upscale places like this--I hope they can get it fixed."

  • "Place is like being in a large city (like New York or Chicago). Great Feeling!! Food and beverage was topnotch. Great getaway in El Paso."

  • "Celebrated my birthday at Mesa Grill and it was everything I had hoped for. The food was terrific and the service was also really great. Overall it was a great experience!"

  • "The waiter did not even say hello. We were put in his station due to not wanting to sit where they originally put us, next to the kitchen, he did not hesitate to take this out on us. I could never recommend this resturant to anyone. The food was just ok but very pricey, if the service had been just super we still would never go back. When we walked in the door it reeked of cigarette smoke, enough to give you quizzes. Any resturant that caters to smokers is more interested in selling booze than good food."

  • "We love the food. The waiter was very nice and we were serviced by multiple people. Everyone was polite and we never had a time where we were wondering where our service was. The food was even better. The steak Diana was a big hit and the sauce was very unique. The steak was made perfectly to order and the shrimp linguine that my girl order had large shrimp that was seasoned perfectly. The atmosphere was very elegant and the music was perfect for the audience. Seating was very good as we weren't extremely close to anyone and wwe're able to enjoy a very intimate conversatio. Definitely recommend as a top restaurant in El Paso."

  • "Having only one evening in El Paso, we wanted to be sure to have a great dining experience. We were not disappointed in our choice of Mesa. On all fronts it met our expectations. Our waiter, Hugo, was very attentive and helpful."

  • "I made a reservation for 7:15 for my one year anniversary and had ordered a flower and personalized menu. When I arrived with my wife they told us it would be another 15 minutes and invited us to sit at the bar. I was a little bit upset because they started taking our Order and none of the surprises were in place. I asked for the flower and personalized menus. When that occurred the Manager quickly fixed the issue and took us to our table. Although it was not how I had planned out in my head things turned out well at the end. The food was great and the service was wonderful. The night had a rocky start, but the staff quickly recovered. A special thank you to the Valet Supervisor for letting us leave our car there during the concert."

  • "My wife and I were looking for a nice upscale quiet restaurant while in El Paso and found this one through Open Table. What a delight it was. The food was great, the atmosphere was very nice (good music at a reasonably low decibel level), and the service was some of the best I have experienced. Our waiter was fantastic and took very good care of us. We would definitely eat here again (but it is kind of pricey)."

  • "It happens to us time and time again, where we go to recommended restaurants in El Paso and leave disappointed. Not this time! The food at Mesa Street Grille was amazing. It was also enjoyable to be in a restaurant where we felt so welcomed and cared about. So unlike the typical places in El Paso where customer service is non-existent. The general manager actually walked around and asked people if they needed anything! It was great. Their winning combination of great food and great service will keep us coming back. And we'll be spreading the word to others who are looking for a great dining experience. Thanks!"

  • "In the past I would have given this restaurant a better overall review, but this visit was a bit disappointing. The food was great, everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and my halibut was very good. It took forever though to get our meal. Only one of our group of six ordered an appetizer, yet it took over an hour for us to receive our entrees. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen."

  • "Out for a birthday dinner with the family. House Cabernet was delicious. Tried the steak Diane: exceptional. Would definitely have this again. Received an enormous slice of chocolate cake from the staff. Great time."
