A word from Mesa Grill - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay’s only Las Vegas restaurant is Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace, delivering his iconic bold Southwestern flair from his acclaimed New York flagship. Just as striking as the food at Mesa Grill is the atmosphere. Designed by renowned restaurant designer David Rockwell, the open space at this Las Vegas restaurant features rich and vibrant colors and textures that are reminiscent of the American Southwest. On the brunch, lunch and dinner menus at his Caesars Palace restaurant, Chef Bobby Flay presents tongue-tingling dishes. This Las Vegas restaurant’s proximity to Mexico gives Mesa Grill access to some of that country's highest-quality tequila and mezcal offerings, and the expansive wine list has a global reach yet maintains an emphasis on top American wines. A cocktail menu features signature drinks such as the Mesa Pisco Sour and Bitter Frenchie and, of course, the perfectly mixed Mesa Grill Margarita.

But not the food at THIS restaurant. We also felt that the table service was also quite abrupt, uncaring of our questions, and downright offensive.

We were in Las Vegas post 4 days of hiking in Zion. This was our first experience at this restaurant. Waiter was excellent, she provided us with guidance regarding menu and drinks. Lobster tamale was amazing, as well as the pumpkin tart. Overall food was excellent as well as the wait staff.

Have been here a few times now; always excellent. Hard to choose amongst the amazing choices on the menu. I went with the ribeye and it was the biggest, most delicious steak I'd had in months. Can't wait to get back to try something else.

Food was okay but nothing I'd ever find myself craving, so for that reason I'd call it way overpriced. Small menu. One person in our group ordered the tacos, a $20 entree, but they were actually just 3 mini tacos served by themselves & she was underwhelmed with the flavor. Most of us just ordered the quesadillas from the app menu because nothing else sounded that great. Overall, it was a forgettable meal.

We had amazing food but we had the extra bonus of having Bobby Flay in the house. He was standing at an open space near the kitchen and was gracious and friendly to everyone who came by to take pictures. It was nice to see someone ao famous be such a gentleman. All of our food was delicious. We would visit again!

One of my all-time favorites. I ordered shrimp tamale for starter and shrimp dish for main meal. They were superbly done and was the right amount for lunch. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Wish there was a Mesa in Houston.

Have always enjoyed the Mesa Grill in NYC, and the food here was the same outstanding flavors we've loved thru the years there. Of course, it should go without saying that Southwestern spices needs to be something that you like. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was that the tables were way too close together. Felt like we were eating with the couple next to us.

Our first visits to Mesa Grill soon after it opened were wonderful! Some of the best restaurant food we'd ever had. Returned Monday night with daughter, who had never been but had been listening to our rave reviews for so long, and were very disappointed. One nice steak, one very ordinary (chain restaurant quality) and a lousy chicken dish with soupy, cold mashed potatoes. The Sophie's salads were very nice but didn't make up for an overpriced "Golden Corral" steak. For $250+ we expect much more! Back to Flemings, Vintner's, or Triple George.

We have now eaten at MESA the last three times in Vegas and we have yet to have a bad meal. This time we took some friends from Mexico their. Each of us ordered the filet. It was cooked to perfection, the corn side dish is fabulous. Moths wait staff is friendly and knowledgable. My wife and I love to eat nice reastaurants and there are plenty to choose from in Vegas but we always make a point to eat at MESA at least one of the nights we are there.

I knew the food would be pricey and it was Very pricey, but it works for a special occasion. I had the rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly my only complaint was the steak knife could not cut the steak without ripping it apart. I used another steak knife it was the same way. I couldn't believe there was a decent steak knife to cut a beautiful $50 steak. My companion had the NY steak, perfectly cooked but the same issue with the steak knife. There was no way you could delicately cut these steaks. I also had a twice baked potato which was excellent but again very, very expensive for a baked potato. I'm glad I experienced the Mesa Grill restaurant but I won't be returning, sorry Bobby.

The food was delicious! We loved the tiger shrimp tamale; the cilantro sauce was a beautiful accent to this dish. The mango spice crusted tuna melted in your mouth! Possible the best piece of tuna I have ever eaten! The cous cous was not a hit, it was under cooked. We had reservations that we were going to be late for but we could not get anyone to the phone to let them know so our reservation was cancelled however we were accommodated. Our server was friendly but very busy, it felt that he was running to get all of his tables covered. The restaurant was beautiful but it was very loud with a lot of background noise. The experience would have been better if the service was as good as the food. The food was by far the star! As it should be!

The pork medallions and chile relleno were an excellent pairing. The only disappointing thing to mention is the restaurant 's location. It's a large open space that gets quite noisy and distracting as you are within a busy casino. Eat at the bar if you are alone (but don't expect to be blown away by the Mexican beer or tequila menu as it is surprisingly very limited).

What a great taste experience. Everything we ordered had a unique flavor but complimented each other perfectly. Wonderful service in an upbeat environment. We had a large party (9) and they handled us like a table of 2. Spot on service and quick as well. Everyone in our party said it was the best meal they had in Vegas and I have to agree. It also didn't damage the wallet as other restaurants of similar caliber. First stop on our list the next time we are in town.

I was a little disappointed with my experience at Mesa Grill. I thought the food would be fabulous and it was really just ok. I had a salad as my appetizer which was not any better than what I could make at home. For my dinner, I had the lobster tacos which were way to spicy and I like spicy foods. My husband had the tomatoes on cheese as an appetizer and the lobster for his entree. Both were good, but not great. The service was pleasant, but not memorable. The following night we ate next door at the Homestead. Much better food and very good service.

After watching Bobby Flay for years on Food Network (I watched him on his first visit to Iron Chef in 2000) I was very disappointed in the food served. I had shrimp tacos with three sauce. It was okay, but not what I expected. Maybe I was expecting too much.

My husband and I had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner here. Everything from the waiter to the service to the ambiance to the food was top notch. It shouldn't, but it does, make it extra special the fact that Bobby is an iron chef. In an odd way you feel like you are being served the food they are served on the shows, although given the time constraints of the show I imagine the restaurant probably makes it better.

This was the best dining experience I ever had. The Pork tenderloin was fork tender and melt in your mouth. The seasoning on it was perfect. Had a wondeful lunch at the Mesa Grill. Enjoyed the Duck Taco, best part of the meal. Well balanced with a hint of cilantro oil and not too spicy to make me (a spice light weight) regret it. My wife had the shrimp Taco and I had the Mesa Burger. Both great meals, with really well spiced fries, but once again, not too salty. I would recommend.

We dined at Mesa Grill while on business in Las Vegas. Based on that experience, I wish I had to travel there more often! From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed and seated in a nice comfortable waiting area. We were seated within 5 minutes (we had a reservation) at a nice table with comfy chairs. Our server was outstanding and attentive (but not too attentive!). He knew the menu very well and was able to skillfully guide us in our selections. The margaritas were great as well as the goat cheese queso dip with homemade blue corn tortilla chips. I had the coffee rubbed filet which was cooked perfectly and delicious! We were unable to stay for dessert only because we had show tickets. Don't miss this jewel! Bon Appetit'!

This was our 4th time at Mesa Grill Las Vegas. We were greeted and shown to our table as we passed by the staff who were all waiting to help someone they all said hello and goodnight. We had a lovely appetizer of cheese like a fondue with blue corn nachochips YUM. My husband always has the Rabbit as it is hard to find anywhere else. I had halibut with crab succhotash (striped bass did not arrive). I love halibut so did not care. Both dishes were Devine. Never any room for dessert even though they look amazing. Wine list is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable about the wine list and menu. Oh the bread they serve you is wonderful, don't let it ruin your appetite.
