A word from Mesa Grill - Caesars Palace Las Vegas
Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay’s only Las Vegas restaurant is Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace, delivering his iconic bold Southwestern flair from his acclaimed New York flagship. Just as striking as the food at Mesa Grill is the atmosphere. Designed by renowned restaurant designer David Rockwell, the open space at this Las Vegas restaurant features rich and vibrant colors and textures that are reminiscent of the American Southwest. On the brunch, lunch and dinner menus at his Caesars Palace restaurant, Chef Bobby Flay presents tongue-tingling dishes. This Las Vegas restaurant’s proximity to Mexico gives Mesa Grill access to some of that country's highest-quality tequila and mezcal offerings, and the expansive wine list has a global reach yet maintains an emphasis on top American wines. A cocktail menu features signature drinks such as the Mesa Pisco Sour and Bitter Frenchie and, of course, the perfectly mixed Mesa Grill Margarita. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Mesa Grill is overall the best dining experience I have had in quite some time. The Pan Seared Sea Scallops were cooked perfectly and the Mesa Steak Sauce on the Black Angus New York Strip Steak was to die for. Roasted Brussels Sprouts Pomegranates + Toasted Walnuts were the perfect side dish to the steak and scallops. The Toasted Coconut Layer Cake was the best coconut cake I have ever had... not too sweet. Our server explained that the cake is made fresh daily and any cake not sold is thrown out, not to be served the following day, so the coconut cake is always fresh. Call ahead to get their exact location as it can be tricky to find in such a big place as Caesar's Palace."

  • "Looking at all the various menus of upscale Las Vegas restaurants, the Mesa Grill offers more fun and creative choices than many of the others. I have dying here several times and have never been disappointed, the service and unpretentious atmosphere make the Mesa Grill a real gem. "

  • "Ate earlier than usual, and that may have impacted food which was very good, just slightly off from its usual standard. Smoked chicken quesadilla was a new find as an appetizer. Banana cream pie probably best dessert, but many are good."

  • "Fun to eat in a Bobby Flay restaurant. The food was great. They let us split a steak and salad without an extra charge. Loved the Corn muffins. "

  • "I sure did enjoy the Partida margarita's! Our server, Deanna was great and the pork tenderloin with some nice heat to it was mouth watering. When in Vegas, go here, you'll love it!"

  • "The pork tenderloin is delicious! Highly recommend it"

  • "One of my favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. It is a must for me and my wife every time we visit."

  • "Overall a very good time. Despite the menu descriptions and the hype behind the food, the flavors while satisfying, play it safe overall. No surprises or unexpected delights from this menu. Solid meal overall. Great team oriented service, hip ambiance, and good food. "

  • "Excellent food with great variety. I had the salmon, our party also had the ahi tuna, pork medallions, tamale, banana cream pie. Impeccable service. Great drinks. One of our favorite places and will be back."

  • "Wow! What can I say? At times, I expect very good from restaurants that are hyped, but Mesa Grilled produced! An excellent meal, outstanding service (Thanks Mike!!), energetic atmosphere. Not the spot for a quiet, romantic dinner due to the fact that you are in the middle of Caesar's Palace with glass walls. But when the foods this good romance can take on a different version. Made our reservations, from out of town, through Open Table which was easy and convenient and they sent confirmation emails and reminders."

  • "My girlfriends stay locally in las vegas and I was there for a conference this past week, and I just knew we had to catch up over food at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. We made sure that we ordered a variety of appetizers such as the chicken skewers, shrimp, and mini tacos and we werent disappointed. The spiced rubbed pork tenderloin and lamb with the sweet potato tamales were divine. Unfortunately, we didnt have time for dessert because we were on a time schedule to run back to my room to see the Scandal Finale - hahaha, but we are certain that it would have been fantastic. If you visiting Las Vegas or Cesears in the near future, make sure you make reservations at Mesa Grill - you will love it as much as we do! "

  • "Anyone visiting Las Vegas should make the effort to go into Ceasars Palace and eat at this place. Make a reservation though as it fills up fast. Bobby Flaye does an outstanding job with this menu. I go there each and every time I go to Vegas (3-5 times a year). I have tried nearly everything on the menu and have not been disapointed with anything. The duck pancakes apetizer is amazing but a bit small on the portion size so you need two if there are three or more people. The steaks are prepared to you liking and the Pork Medallions with the spicy sauce are fantastic. Give it a whirl."

  • "The Mesa Grill is one of my favorite Las Vegas restaurants and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch there last week. My wife and I shared the Smoked Chicken and Black Bean Quesadilla appetizer. Generally, I find most Quesadilla's to be on the bland and boring side -- not this one! I had my usual, the Spicy Chicken and Sweet Potato Hash (Bobby's kicked up play on a traditional Eggs Benedict) and it was incredible. My wife enjoyed the New Mexican Spiced Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, although it was a bit on the spicy side for her. Service was perfect (thanks Mike). As always, the Mesa Grill delivered; it's a don't miss stop for us whenever we're in Vegas."

  • "Every time we visit Las Vegas, we make the Mesa Grill a "must eat" destination. The food, service and atmosphere is always exceptional. We have never had a bad meal. The Goat Cheese "Queso Fundido" is a unique take on a traditional southwestern appetizer and the New Mexican Spiced Pork Tenderloin is out of this world good."

  • "Loved it. Casual, but menu was very nice. Service was good. An open concept restaurant."

  • "The goat cheese dip appetizer was fabulous. Great dinner, but in the end not worth the cost."

  • "We truly enjoyed our recent dinner at Mesa Grill in Las Vegas. Service was excellent and our entrees of salmon and scallops were delicious. The brussel sprouts salad with pomegranates was unusual and quite tasty. If I had a complaint (and this isn't really one), it would be that the restaurant is a bit noisy and fast-paced. Not exactly a romantic ambiance."

  • "I am not very familiar with this type of cuisine, so was keen to try out Mesa Grill. I had the blue corn pancake with duck to start which was like a sweeter, spicier Peking duck - yummy. For my main course I wanted to try the pork tenderloin, but did not care for the side dishes it was served with. I asked the waiter to switch them for other sides. I was rather taken aback when he said that it was not possible because it was 'a signature dish that had been served that way for 20 years'. He did eventually agree to order what I wanted as additional sides rather than substitutions. When my dish arrived, I was therefore surprised to see that the kitchen had managed to swap the sides on the plate for me after all!"

  • "Food was good. Had the seafood corn tamale and coffee expression fused filet mignon. Both dishes was seasoned and not too spicy. Wasn't pressured to order wine as we were more beer drinkers. The place was filled which was a good sign. At the end of the night, from our sever to the host, everyone "thank'd" us for eating there. That is a demonstration of great customer service."

  • "We have eaten at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill three times now - we've tried just about everything on the menu and haven't found anything less than 5 stars as of yet. Your mouth starts to water just reading the descriptions on the menu - ancho chile rub, roasted jalapeno crema, etc. - and the food is even better. The food has a southwestern tilt but has a unique take on each dish - and they have a stellar list of margaritas. It is a must-go-to restaurant every time we go to Vegas. Only comment on ambience is that at the tables, you're generally looking right back on the casino floor, which we try to get away from for dinner. We love to sit at the bar, but it's often too crowded for that. Reservations recommended."

  • "My 9 year old son and I had tickets to Mystere at 7, so we did an early dinner at Mesa Grill. The atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent and the food was divine. They do have a kids' menu, which is excellent. For $13 they'll do a grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes, the quarter pound burger or a quesadilla. Pork tenderloin was delicious. Great experience."

  • "disappointed. a half full not busy restaurant, way overcooked Poached Eggs that when I showed the server he said "you can't live with that". Corrected the problem, but when I paid my check he goes and takes orders from 2 other tables and doesn't bring my check back for 6 minutes never a mention of overcooked Eggs. Spoke to manager and there was not much concern. Later returned to pickup a hat I left behind and they had comped my meal. A little to late to save the day..."

  • "Reservations are hugely important - this is a very busy spot in Caesars Palace, and very close to the Coliseum performances. The restaurant looks amazing, smells amazing, and is overall very impressive and an exciting place to dine in Vegas. The service staff does a superb job of explaining the heat of the dishes, drink options, pairings, etc. - possibly one of the best levels of attentiveness my wife and I have ever gotten at ANY restaurant! The food...Literally - I would go back and pay any price for the lobster taco appetizer again - and the queso fundido was rich and delicious! Highly recommend the rabbit entree as well! Don't you dare go here and not get churros for desert, you will be missing out! Overall- Highlight of the trip!"

  • "Despite arriving on time for a 5:30 reservation, my wife and I were seated at a very narrow 2 person table with tables on each side of us separated by about 15 inches. The restaurant was still quite empty. I should have asked for a better table. The service was rushed and sloppy. If you are thinking this place will be anything like Bar Americain, you will be sadly disappointed, as was I. I gave the food 5 stars because it is darn good. If you're in a hurry and want the experience of being treated like you are eating at an airport diner, i.e. like at a place which never expects to see you again, then Mesa Grill is your place in Las Vegas."

  • "Food was FANTASTIC! Had the rabbit with Brussels sprouts and a twice-baked potato. Honestly one of the best meals I've had! Plus a bottle of wine and churros for dessert. YUM! Highly recommend!"

  • "Fantastic dining experience! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal. I do not like brussel sprouts but their version is simply amazing."

  • "We always have a great time at Mesa grill for lunch. The salmon is amazing, and the tuna appetizer is one of our all time faves. Margaritas are fabulous too!"

  • "Pricey but worth it for the taste. Flavors were excellent, however, don't go if you're hungry unless you plan on ordering a lot of appetizers first. Lobster tacos are simply amazing and my husband said, "the salmon was the best he has ever had". The only damper on the evening was that while we arrived 10 minutes early for our 5:00pm reservation and they weren't officially open yet, the bar was full and people were being served drinks, the staff basically ignored us and we couldn't get drinks. It wasn't until another guest next to us asked us if we wanted drinks that we got served two minutes before they seated us. Our waiter was pleasant and the overall service was good. We will definitely try this place again."

  • "We love watching Bobby Flay on any of his TV series and have for a while wanted to make a trip to one of his restaurants. We were FLOORED at the level of flavors his food has - we have never been dazzled like that before (and we've been to some other well known, highly rated places before that respectfully will remain nameless here as they are good). All we can say is that it comes down to depth and complexity of flavor that puts Bobby Flay's food now at the top of our favorites list. Fabulous!!"

  • "We went in after the Elton John show, which by the way was fabulous, and our waiter was already busy, then assigned more tables. We were a mother and son duo, so he quickly pushed us aside giving nod to the 4-tops, despite the fact we were there first. Then he rushed us through our order... When I had a few questions, he abandoned completely. Drinks slow to arrive. My son had the chicken which was delicious (mashed potatoes fair) and I had the tiger shrimp and corn tamale - pretty yummy - though a bit dry, and a small Caesar salad. The restaurant had a very appealing atmosphere."

  • "I give Mesa Grill kudos for knowing how to provide a wonderful experience. My husband & I selected Mesa Grill to celebrate our second oldest sons' 27th birthday. We can not say enough about what a terrific time we had & how much we appreciated the service and extra effort put forth to help make our sons' birthday extra special. The drinks, appetizers, meals & award winning coconut cake were outstanding!"

  • "..other reviews said the food was bland. They must have been eating at another restaurant. The food was well prepared, timed well and didn't leave you hungry. My wife and I shared an appetizer, we each had an entree and we shared one a la carte veggie. My wife had salmon. Her comment was that no one grills salmon like I do...even top chefs. Grin! I had the tuna steak and it was flawless. Grilled EXACTLY to order. We didn't have enough room for dessert. Which is sad. They had coconut cake and I'm all in for coconut. Partida Margarita was awesome. Several times! Only negative was the constant wafting of cigarette smoke from the casino. Wait staff was flawless and didn't hover. Their recommendations were always right."
