The restaurant was not noticibly busy. Our server was with us right away. Very in detail given of the specials for the evening. Dinner arrived promptly. It was my daughters graduation and she picked Meritage wanting a petite filet before she accepted her new endeavor to 7th grade. Jeff was wonderful and he got us out in time for the ceremony just has we asked because we were running a little late. The cheese caked killed and my lobster tail melted right as it should. My fathers BBQ Shrimp made the old man very happy. Looking forward to our next visit. The Cajun Goat Cheese Filet was much better.
Parking was a little bit difficult. (The lot was full at 6:00pm on a Wednesday, so only on-street parking was available.)

This last time one of our group ordered the fish and scallop special, $38. The fish portion was embarrassingly small. No one feels comfortable asking for more food than what has been served, so nothing was said. Charging a high price, compared to the rest of the menu, is fine. We arrived early and the hostess was able to seat us right away. We were greated immediatley by our waitress. She went over the menu and gave us recommendations for the meal. The wine menu gave a nice variation of reds and whites. We decided to on a bottle of Trullo Reisling that paired very well with the Chicken Diavolo and the Lobster. Be prepared to wait for your dinner but the wait is well worth it. The food was delicious! Filet mignon was perfectly prepared, topped with goat cheese, and accompanied by a huge, twice-baked potato I couldn't finish. Good wine list. Overall a nice experience. The prices are right for the trimmings this restaurant offers. Great food, delicious wine, great music and the service is always top notch. My only complaint is I wish my wife cooked as well the Meritage. Kidding, Honey! ;) Meritage is a great establishment for Glendale, and Cincinnati!!!
