It's perfect for romance as well as high-end business dinner; our service person (Jeff) was positive, warm, professional. My sea bass was done"just right" and my friends steak was delicious. Five stars! I'm glad to find a quality restaurant close by, rather than dealing with big-city traffic and parking."

  • "We go to The Meritage once a month for Brunch and we really look forward to it. This was the first time we tried it for dinner and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good, nice atmosphere and our waiter, Jeff, was very accommodating. There were 3 of us and our entrees consisted of the scallops, the lamb and the pork....all perfect. The only negative was the Bread Pudding for dessert (The Creme Brûlée was excellent)."

  • "The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter, Joey, was very knowledgeable, especially about the wine list. He recommended a wine that was less expensive than the one we were considering - and it was a great pick. I was a little disappointed in the food. The sea bass was prepared well and tasted delicious. The accompanying fried risotto balls were a let down. I would have preferred risotto. The vegetable didn't add anything to the meal, either. For the price I expected higher quality food. We ran out of time for dessert."

  • "Got my Christmas bonus, so I took the roommates out for dinner. We went the Monday before Christmas after 8pm, so we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. The complimentary jalapeno cheddar bread was really tasty. Not overpowering as you might expect from the name. The waiter was able to give us in-depth answers to all our questions about the food and wine. Huge wine list. The food was amazing. The New York Strip steak was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The lamb comes out on the rib, nice an juicy, very flavorful, and some nice side dishes on the plate. I normally hate fish, but I really enjoyed the Seared Sea Bass. The sauce tastes great and masks the "fish" taste. Its ~$35/plate, but sometimes you need a GREAT meal!!!!"

  • "Shortly after being seated for Sunday brunch, our waitress offered us coffee. After she poured the coffee, she asked if we wanted cream, which we did. Our waitress returned with the cream 5 – 10 minutes later, but by then the coffee was only lukewarm. It would have been a lot better if the waitress had brought the cream either before the coffee or at the same time as the coffee so that we could start off with hot coffee. I noticed our waitress touching the tip of the coffee pot and subsequently pouring from that pot. Yuck! I noticed she did this more than once, and I think it’s a nervous habit that she’s not aware of."

  • "The Meritage restaurant is on-property at the Omni-Interlocken hotel in Broomfield. The restaurant has a fairly eclectic menu for a hotel restaurant. There are choices for pretty much everyone, and the food is very good. The restaurant is typically on the quiet side and the wait staff is attentive and helpful. I'd recommend it without hesitation."

  • "The bison was absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow and inattentive - wine glasses never got filled, empty plates sat on the table. We noted in our reservation that it was a special occasion and wanted a lovely table to celebrate and they seated us between three large parties of 10 people each, fortunately they did let us move when we asked to."
