  • "We found Meridian Pint because my daughter was looking for someplace with good vegetarian options. This fit the bill wonderfully. With a varied menu fit for meat and non meat eaters, the entire family of 6 was very happy! The atmosphere was fun and friendly and while unfamiliar with the neighborhood until then, we will definitely be coming back!"

  • "Nice spot for brunch, more than just the usual suspects on the brunch menu. Turkey hash was very good. Very nice kids menu as well, nice nutritious selections. Nice to have steel cut oats for the little ones. Waffles were great as well."

  • "Got my former boss off Capitol Hill to eat here with a bunch of former colleagues. They set up a large table toward the back of the restaurant, and spent some time reviewing the beer selections with my company. My boss is a beer aficionado, he was in heaven. And the burgers were great! So proud this spot is in my neighborhood!"

  • "Meridian Pint is known for its great ale and beer offerings. But, I also appreciate its vegetarian dishes, as well as other creative dishes. On this visit, they happened to have oysters on the half shell, which went well with the porter I drank. I also like the fact that you won't find any iceberg lettuce here. All of the salads are delicious, even the simplest ones. There's something for everyone here."

  • "Outstanding selection of local and national micro-brews. Service was a little slow, but the food and drink worth the often long wait."

  • "This restaurant in the hood is a good standard and one can expect tasty food here. However, the music inside and the flat ceilings always makes this place noisy even when there are few people. We sat outside for lunch and that was pleasant."

  • "This is one of the restaurants in my neighborhood that I enjoy walking too."

  • "We really looked forward to going to this restaurant but it didn't live up to our expectations. My husband ordered the rib eye sandwich. When it arrived, one-half of the sandwich was all fat. The other half was good steak. When we showed this to the waitress, she said, "Well, rib eye is a fatty steak." But there should not have been half the sandwich full of fat and inedible. So my husband ate half of a sandwich. The waitress did give him a free beer. But her attitude was less than interested, not only then, but the whole evening. We had to flag her down for the bill. The other meals were fine, not anything to write home about. Would I go back? No."

  • "Meridian Pint is absolutely one of my favorite places to dine in DC... the food is fantastic, the beer list is stellar, and the service is nothing but friendly. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!"

  • "We discovered your restaurant thanks to the Washington Post Beer Madness brackets! We love the 4 oz sampler options -- so many beers, so many choices! We came back this past Friday for the Old Beer weekend, and brought a sizable group. Thanks for understanding our late arrival (we called to say we were stuck in traffic and you were great) and not giving our table away! We love the ceviche, the bacon cheddar deviled eggs, the Mediterranean burger, and all the entrees. "

  • "You'd think that a brew pub would have a mediocre menu. But it is the food as much as the bar menu that keeps calling us back. I recently had the salmon with bok choy and quinoa. Yum. Oh. The spring risotto is also delish. So are the burgers. Etc. just go and start dabbling with the extensive beer menu and anything on the food menu. we haven't been anything but delighted so far. "

  • "Needless to say, their beer list is pretty illustrious: local, regional, international. Feels a little more like a gastropub than a typical bar, which I like, and the ambience is terrific - sat near the front of the restaurant with the large doors open. Decent veggie burger too, and lots of customizable options for it. Wish dessert menu was a little more developed. "

  • "1200pm on 12 April, party of two. No question, if you're going here to eat and drink you'll find some nice variety and top notch beer list. The food was cooked to order and we left satisfied. Ribeye Sandwich for me and Pulled Pork for her and we both had sweet potatoes--all of it was very tasty. When it takes 20 minutes to get water on the table and an additional 7 minutes to get alcohol--something is wrong. They were busy but it didn't appear there was a long wait if any. It was hard to tell if they were generally understaffed or our guy was given too many tables. We might try it again in the future, but a similar experience with the service would seal the chances of a 3rd trip closed."

  • "had hoped for so much more from this place - service was so slow! and they ran out of four different beers - we went for the DC Beer Bracket challenge - and were very disappointed. Upstairs could be a cool place, but it needs some help with their service issues, downstairs is a nice sports bar area - very loud."

  • "Meridian Pint was one of the first restaurants I tried when I moved to Columbia Heights 2 years ago, and it's still one of my favorite spots. Their burgers and wings never disappoint, and the beer selection is fantastic. I actually like their downstairs better than the main floor, but their outdoor patio is the best during the warm months. They have a great weekend brunch menu, and while it's not my personal favorite in the neighborhood it's a great spot for those who prefer a classic style brunch. It gets very crowded though, so you may want to make a reservation if you don't want to wait 45 min for a table."

  • "One of the best beer lists in DC. Great spot and I wish there were more places in DC like this. Staff is always super friendly, reserving the back table for groups works well, and the beer, oh the beer, delicious and diverse."

  • "Meridian Pint is known for its excellent craft beer selection and it welcoming atmosphere. It did not disappoint. Wait staff was knowledgeable about the beers but not pushy. The food was a pleasant surprise. It was way more than bar food and each dish had some interesting feature. Rachael was particularly gracious. It was my wife's birthday and we had a great time."

  • "Place has a great vibe and atmosphere. Food and service were both excellent. Extensive craft beer list with some nice recommendations from our server. The burgers and long list of toppings were a big hit with our group. Busy Saturday night but never felt rushed to give up our table. Will definitely be added to my favorite list."

  • "We came to the restaurant for the beer and were not disappointed. They had an amazing selection of beers on tap and then even more in bottles. The pleasant surprise was how good the food was. We stuck to the burgers, appetizers and fish and chips, but they were very good. The crust on the pasty was really pie crust but it was excellent. The marmalade as a side to it was an interesting and delicious choice. The desserts were also very good. Our waiter was a little hard to find when we needed another beer, but the food was brought out in a timely fashion."

  • "We chose Meridian Pint because it was an easy walk to Gala Theatre, about 3 blocks. We were there early and had a good dinner--great burger and my cioppino was very good. I had my heart set on the dessert special, but they were out of the pear pie. Of course, their claim to fame is their beer/drinks list--lots of fun to page through and choose a beer/ale/mead/cider etc. Nice vibe in the place--I'm sure it gets much louder and busier later in the evening."

  • "small, but excellent menu, options for everyone. Our group enjoyed fish and chips, roasted chicken, burgers - veggie and beef, and appetizers. upstairs seating less noisy than downstairs. handled party of 6 with ease. service attentive not obnoxious."

  • "I brought my husband here between two holiday parties to sample one of their hard ciders. The waiter was so knowledgeable about ciders for us -- and then about beers for the couple sitting next to us. But its not all about the drinks -- the food was great too."

  • "It's so much more than a pub, even though it's beer selection is outstanding. There's a creative menu and everything I have ever tasted at the Pint has been at least good. Most dishes are great. The service is stellar every time."

  • "as always, Meridian hits it out of the park with their beer menu. twenty beers or so on tap, with everything from a cask conditioned heavy seas loose cannon IPA to o'reillys stout on nitro, to oskar blues ten-fitty. also plenty of choices for the non-beer nerd. great burgers and several different options for veggies. choice of music seems weird, tho. every time i am at meridian, the playlist has "classic rock" and 80s stuff in heavy rotation. oh, and if you are planning on going after about 7 pm, make a reservation if you don't want to wait for a table"

  • "We dined as a party of four. The vegan-friendly menu, ambiance, and beer list were the highlights. We were mostly just disappointed by our server; she had little input when asked for food advice, rarely checked on us, and seemed less than enthused to be serving us. Our table runner was friendly & asked how things were more than the waitress! Wine list is small; least expensive glass is $12. It would be nice if they had comparable beer/wine/cocktail price tiers. Food was OK but not memorable. We ordered nachos, the entree special, a black quinoa & kale entree, wings. The vegan quinoa dish was not good. The guy next to us ordered the same and also agreed that it was a big miss."
