Each time was very good but our latest visit scored a 10 in all departments. We took a friend from out of town and were glad we chose Mercato West. Our waitress was excellant and very knowledgable about both the wine and the food. Thanks, it's was a great evening.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMDelizioso!I've been to Mercato's for lunch and loved it … and when it came time to find a restaurant for my husband's and my anniversary, I chose Mercato's West because he had never been. It's close to home which is a huge bonus and the food is absolutely delicious! The wine list offers a variety of Italian wines as well as a nice selection of apertifs. Portions are family style meaning enough to share with the table so it's fun to get a few different things to try. We split the special pasta which was radiatore with minced prosciutto and kale and it was unbelievable.

Was on the pricier side but it was well worth it as a treat now and again. We really enjoyed the family style of service, we took our servers advice and ordered one dish from each category and we had more food than we could possibly eat (there were 2 of us), but it was all delicious.
