We had lunch here during Chicago Chef Week. The menu for $22 looked quite interesting and like a good value. When the food arrived however we saw that we were being taken for a ride. The portions were miniscule and we would have done much better bu ordering full portions of the guacamole, ceviches and tacos and skipping the ordinary flan dessert.
That being said the ceviches were pretty good but not anything extraordinary, the roasted pepper guacamole was quite delicious and the tacos were amazing. Our favorite was the pork and the beef - fish was good but a little bland.
We asked if they would space out the courses and they said yes - then the ceviches and guacamole come at out once with the chips soon followed by tacos - way too fast.

Very loud! Tables are too close to one another in an effort to reach max capacity. I could barely hear our waiter over the loud music and the chatter of other patrons. The traditional guacamole was very good and so was the margarita. The tacos were decent, but not amazing.

We came her for brunch because we loved our Chef's Week experience. The brunch was every bit as good! I will admit I wanted more tacos but it was great to try their breakfast cocktails and eggs. The only miss was that we ordered pancakes and they brought us french toast. Both dishes take an unusually long time. They more than corrected the mistake. I'm glad I didn't pay for the french toast though. It was really mushy. Not good. The pancakes were ok but if I were to go back I'd skip them.

Brunch service was ok. I understand the "small plate" format , but there needs to be some thought given to the items ordered by the table for brunch and plate size. It's uncomfortable for patrons when a food items leaves almost zero room on a plate to cut for personal portioning. Also, wait staff needs to think through items and offer new plates (rather than waiting for patrons to ask) when courses move from savory to sweet.
