"Over all it was a good dining experience. My dining partner ordered a Martini, it didn't come out right the first time, my friend said it tasted like it was "perfumed" and the glass was chipped. The waitress took it back to the bar and got a new one back to us. Another funny thing is how this restaurant charges the cocktail. For a Martini, they charge $10 for the alcohol, $1 for the pearl onion.."

"Once again, the food was delicious and the service was great. We sat at the bar launge and it cozy and warm atmosphere, we received great service from Dave, the bartender. we definately recommend this Rest. for breakfast, lunch or dinner."

"Great that olive oil and vinegar were offered, alas the bread was not warm at all. The Cole slaw was fantastic! Ahi tuna sandwich was good but quite messy, felt I needed to wash my hands afterwards. Nice environment!"

"Downtown Palo Alto has so many dining choices it is easy to forget there is a great restaurant just around the comer on the Palo Alto-Menlo Park border. In the Stanford Park Hotel (with tons of free parking), this restaurant is a wonderful competitor to Sundance (and blows away the restaurants in the Stanford Shopping Center). Impeccable service, just the right level of attentiveness (being greeted by name was a nice touch)with great food and equally great wine. If you want to avoid the downtown zoo scene, this is the place to go."

"I love this place and often have dinner breakfast or Lu ch meetings here. Food is good but not fussy. Service excellent. Parking ample and best of all you can have an important conversation without raising your voice"

"This was my 5th visit, and each time the food has been spot-on fantastic. The no-corkage policy is a huge draw for us, and it makes each meal there a mini celebration as we get to enjoy a special selection from our home wine collection. Really strong dessert selection, which is unusual these days. The bread pudding, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream pie (tower!) are not to be missed. The pork chop is "out of this world" perfection. Again, a dish you don't find many places, and so wonderfully prepared."
