Service and food were great
My Ribeye was cooked perfectly, and was delicious.
My meal and service ranked up there with the finer restaurants.
The room was energetic, and a little noisy becuase it was full, but I didn't mind.

There were 6 of us for Mothers Day eve dinner. We reserved at 5pm. That and 5:30 is only option and after that is wait list only. We got there and line 1/2 block long already! We got in and because we had reserved we were seated right away. Oh the glares from those who didn't reserve. The drinks, food, friendly staff and all spot on. Great classic steakhouse atmosphere, great local beers on tap and wine list. Food was quite good and when steak needed a bit more cooking for one diner, service was quick and responsive. A good find! The steak was pretty good, the pork medallions in a mushroom peppercorn cream sauce were amazing. He had the ribeye steak and I ordered the tiger prawns. We shared our two dinners, and the steak was outstanding--so tender and juicy and huge!! The prawns were good, and were a nice complement to the steak. The salad was very fresh and a hearty portion, and the whole wheat sourdough rolls were wonderful too. We felt the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes served.
