Diner Reviews
  • "As always, my visit to Meet in Paris Bistro was nothing less than Amazing. We had the escargots as an appetizer, which was wonderfully prepared. I had the Bisque Mussels as my entree. My husband had the Peppercorn Filet. Both dishes were delicious. The service has always been first class. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an all-around, first class dining experience."

  • "We arrived at the restaurant and we had reservations of course and still were told we had to wait. The hostess was a bit stressed in seating patrons. We waited a few minutes and then were seated outside. It was noisy and the table was wobbling. The food was just okay -- my food the Thai mussels had no taste."

  • "First off, 50% off wine bottles on Sundays - awesome. Second, braised short ribs were delicious and perfectly seasoned (not too salty, which I'm always wary of). Third it was super crowded for a Sunday night (entire patio was filled from 7pm onward), but our waitress stayed true to the French spirit and let us dine at our own pace (about two hours). My date and I had such great conversation, were minimally interrupted by our waitress, and just had such a nice evening on the patio. Great place for a fancy date night without the stuffiness of a fancy restaurant. I'd definitely request patio seating, because the interior is quite cramped, à la French bistro!"

  • "I never write reviews, but wanted to share my experience from Sunday night. The menu was well thought out, and executed flawlessly. What stood out to me the most was the leisurely dinner service we received. So many restaurants rush you through your courses to turn tables, but this was not the case here. My girlfriend that was moving away and I were able to enjoy a two and a half hour dinner, with no pressure to leave. Half priced wine certainly helped us to stay! Merci Meet in Paris, was a lovely experience!"

  • "Wow, all I can say is I feel I was in France. This Bistro impressed me with all the attribures...food, ambience and service. My date was "wowed" as well. The truffle fries are a must. The next door outdoor cafes made it seem all the more Parisian."

  • "I had a frisee salad with lardons. The lardons were tough and chewy and there was too much dressing drenching the salad. But it was pretty good. My husband had a very generous (9 oz) filet of Scottish salmon, grilled and served with green beans. It was good. People should really order the mussels, because those are what Meet in Paris specializes in. It's a fun Culver City spot."

  • "Lovely French neighborhood restaurant. Outdoor patio is nice, even though we were there on a cool evening, it worked out fine. Tables are closely set, so, not much privacy, but a gem all the same. Good food and good service."

  • "Had an amazing time at this quaint, romantic, fun and fabulous Bistro! - Nicole was the most accomodating, knowledgeable and fun waitress - Her interactions with us and her love for the food was most welcoming - suggesting several great menu items and a cheese for us to try! Thanks for a Great great dinner!! **Go on Mondays -its 30% off their Mussels menu - which is humungous and sumptuous "Mussels Monday""

  • "A group of us went there for Sunday brunch before going to the Kirk Douglas Theater. Everything was exceptional! As they got busier...they were still very attentive to our needs. I would go back there and recommend this place in a heartbeat!"

  • "A very pleasant surprise with excellent food and service. The variety of mussels was impressive, but we liked everything we ordered and, if you are there early, the Happy Hour menu was definitely a good deal."

  • "We loved Meet in Paris. The food was to die for and the service was excellent. I have already told a number of my friends about it and I plan on going back very soon."

  • "Dinner was delicious. Server, Nicole, was attentive and very sweet. The kitchen was very accommodating to my companion's request that her meal not be prepared with butter and the trout was yummy. The only downside was that the restaurant space was very small which meant a very tiny table."

  • "It is so enjoyable to sit on the terrace and feel like one is at a sidewalk bistro in Paris. The food is always delicious, French with a little California twist."
    Dined on 3/20/2014
  • "We enjoyed for the second time...inside is loud , small and no AC on a beautiful day. But we truly enjoyed outside. MEET should acquire next door space and expand!"

  • "You can depend on Meet for fine flovorable food and great service."

  • "now and then we go to see a film that inspires a theme nite.."Le Weekend" got us to MEET and we loved it. Parisian quality steak frites is our go-to but the way my husband was levitating toward the waiters every time they passed, Mussels (served 17 ways) will be on his agenda. Pretty loud so next time we will take advantage of the sidewalk patio which seemed well heated. I have a special place in my heart for authentic onion soup so I will be sure not to fill up on popcorn before dinner so I can hit that. Everything we saw being feasted on by other diners was salivating material We'll bring friends with us"

  • "We went for a late brunch on a Sunday. Service was excellent. We had an outdoor table. It was busy but not over crowded. Really good food at reasonable prices. Good cheese selection. We were allowed to sit and talk for hours. Service would check in and take care of us but didn't pester or ignore. Looking forward to going back!"

  • "Felt like I was back in a small Paris Bistro. Took my 91 year old mother and she was treated like a Queen. Service was personable and warm. Great Happy hour with discounts on food as well as beverages, great value."

  • "As always, my visit this weekend to Meet in Paris was nothing less than Amazing. We had the Tomato Tarte tatin as an appetizer, which was wonderfully prepared. I had the Moules frites provencale as my entree. They have 17 diferent preparations of mussels, a unique concept! My husband had the Steak au poivre. Both dishes were delicious. The service has always been first class. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an all-around, first class dining experience."

  • "The staff is very knowledgable and efficient and the food top-notch. Best to sit out on the patio, especially if dining with another couple,as the inside is quite small and narrow and the noise level was at a fever pitch once the room was filled, making conversation very difficult. My request for a window table (done a week in advance) for my party of four was not granted because of an imminent larger party but when we left an hour later the 3 tables by the window were still set for 2 and had been occupied."

  • "This has become my "go-to" place. The atmosphere is real French, the food is authentic French, the service is friendly and the prices are quite reasonable."

  • "Excellent meal overall. Every dish save the overcooked chicken Jidori was top notch. I should have sent the chicken dish back to be fair to the chef but I didn't."

  • "We had a 10 person birthday brunch. On top of being delicious, the food prompted multiple "should I instagram this?" conversations. (We collectively agreed to "not be those people.") No one wanted to leave but we felt bad milking the "bottomless Mimosas" and taking up so much room in the restaurant."

  • "By far the most fabulous menu I've seen for a smaller cozy style restaurant. The choices made it difficult to choose, I wanted them all! The Trio of Duck, the Mussels and Lobster, WOW! and the incredible tarte tatin was back! Sebastian and his team are remarkable with attention to detail and customers. I highly reccommend this gem for any day/nights meal, but don't miss the special prix fixe menus!"

  • "Fantastic service. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the steak tartare and mussels. The steak tartare was authentic and delicious. My husband ordered the prix fixe and had the crab cakes and mussels and creme brulee. He enjoyed his meal. We will be returning with friends."

  • "My husband and I met our friends for dinner one chilly night. Although they don't honor requests I had called earlier to let them know that we were bringing an elderly gentleman for dinner and inquired about the heating outside. It was busy when we arrived but we were given a choice of a nice corner table inside and a lovely table outside under a heater. Either table would have been perfect but we chose the inside table and had a most enjoyable meal and visit with our friends. The food of course was outstanding. MEET never lets us down."

  • "I'm a huge fan of Meet in Paris. It's located a few minutes from where I work so it's nice to come here for lunch or happy hour. Our favorite lunch choice is the croque madame. Everything from the perfectly toasted bread to the melted cheese is fantastic. I'm a huge fan of their fries as well. The service here is always stellar and my water glass is rarely empty since they are very attentive here. I've been here for happy hour as well and it definitely gets pretty busy between 4-6pm. Everything about this restaurant makes you want to come back for future visits. The decor is aesthetically pleasing and the staff is always courteous. I've yet to try their dinner menu but it's one of my favorite places to visit for lunch during the week"

  • "I have eaten at Meet in Paris several times but this was my favorite meal yet. We were seated promptly in a smaller dining room right across from the kitchen. Service was pleasant and attentive. I had a special short ribs sandwich with fries that was just one of the best things I have ever eaten. My wife had a Mariniere mussel dish from the menu that was also outstanding. It was a delicious, reasonably priced lunch treat. We'll be back often."
