MEET in ParisAlways Satisfying! We ate on Monday when the mussels & beer are discounted...that made some of our party very happy...so many ways to dress those mussels...we will have to order them more often to sample the fare!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy Favorite Culver City SpotI always enjoy Meet in Paris. The food is great, the owner and his staff are attentive, and the patio is a great place to people watch!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMParis in Culver CityYum...the grilled artichoke and les moules...a carafe of wine...it doesn't get more perfect on a Parisian patio in the heart of LA5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNothing has changed. No matterNothing has changed. No matter when we go everything is wonderful. Great service and delicious food.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMSweet French BistroThis place was very reminiscent of many little places I remember from Paris and is a welcome option in quaint Culver City. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Loved it!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent MusselsWe sat at the outside patio on a warm night and had a delightful dinner of mussels and frites. The menu contains some french classics but since it features mussels, we tried several varieties and shared tastes around. The service was attentive and helpful and made for a great evening of catching up with old friends.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMtrès bonMussels in bisque tops my highly recommended list, followed by crab mango and avocado salad.
Service is prompt, staff is pleasant and attentive - never an empty glass of water.
Consider me a regular.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanidng Menu and ServiceFelt just like we were in Paris, the service and food was excellent! A memorable evening. The waiter was perfect, attentive but not to overwhelming, checked in on us and had some excellent recommendations. Very pleasant and professional.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA great beginningMEET in Paris was a great beginning to an evening of great company and great entertainment. Me and my date were impressed by the amazing selection of mussels on the menu, and they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The rest of the evening was highly professional: our table was ready for us, the wait staff was very helpful in helping us make choices, as well as not being intrusive during our dinner; and we were able to make it to the theatre on time. Great little restaurant.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperb duck confitThe duck and the moule were superb. Great service.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMbest mussels everWe've loved almost all the different mussels dishes we've had. Each with their own unique broth.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFeels Like You're On VacationMy husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and thought it would be fun to invoke our honeymoon in Paris. We ate at one of the sidewalk tables and felt far from Culver City. We shared a beet salad -- the beets were great but the warm goat cheese sat atop like a cold, rubbery pancake. My husband had the all-you-can-eat mussels and frites special and enjoyed it. I opted for the flat iron steak. It was fairly tasty but really tough. We shared a chocolate dessert which the waiter raved about and we thought was pretty good but not divine. The food wasn't perfect but the overall impression was favorable and we will be back. The place is fun, convivial. The prices are fair and we found street parking. It's a winner in our book.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat neighborhood spotWhile the name is a little awkward, Meet in Paris delivers on that premise: If you ignore the fact downtown Culver City lies just beyond the sidewalk you can easily imaging yourself in a small neighborhood bistro in a chic arrondissemont of Paris. Food and service (albeit with American-accented English) match if not surpass most French bistros. Daily specials and happy hours make this a real find. It opened four years ago, meaning it the oldest establishment on this now hot block of Culver City.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMexcellent menu....terrificexcellent menu....terrific Boulliabase. Service was friendly and efficient. We dined inside and it was cramped. Next time, we dine outdoors. A bit noisy, but the food made up for everything. A delightful experience for our palates.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI came to celebrate a friendI came to celebrate a friend birthday in our group of 5. We tried Thai, Madrid, Meet in Paris, Baja, Alask, Roquefort mussels and they were all delicious. Duck and Seafood Bouillabaise was also exquisite. Staff was really nice and accomodating. Recommend to all seafood lovers.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMBest mussels in Los Angeles!Sensational food and even more sensational service. Professional and yet so personable!
We keep returning to Meet in Paris, it is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. This last visit reminded us why. On a busy Saturday night, we got personal, helpful service and fabulous food. From "Kir Royal" aperitif through "Chocolate fondant" dessert, it was pure pleasure. We had yummy Mussels a la moutarde with drinks, best mussels I've ever had, and my husband had the seared scallops. Delicious trout that melted in your mouth, amazing steak/frites. To emphasize excellent service here, we were given plenty of friendly engaged attention and information that influenced our menu choices for the better. Meet in Paris: "a bientot"!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMcharming bistro, wonderful foodEverything we tried here was excellent, including the best escargot I have ever had.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGo to Paris in Culver City!We adored this restaurant. We live in Hollywood, but thought we'd transported to another part of the world. (For the record, we love Hollywood!) How great to sit outside on a broad sidewalk among rows of tables from various restaurants. The food was delicious. Definitely true the mustard sauce mussels. I had salmon, perfectly grilled. My husband had the duck which was moist, light and delicious. The wait staff could not have been nicer, more attentive without hovering or ready to please. We'll come back for Tuesday or Wednesday night all-you-can-eat mussels night. You should, too!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAs always the food was great. As always the food was great. Most appetizers were around $10, whicg made the escargot and French onion soup even better! Entrees are $20-30, and the duck confit was easily the best I've ever had. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is our second visit. This is our second visit. It was very good. My husband and I both ordered the fix price menu with a bottle of wine. Will be back!!!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for special diet needsI have very difficult food restrictions and this restaurant handled my special requests better than almost any place I've eaten. The waiter was super responsible. I needed pommes frites with salt only, no pepper and sauteed spinach also with salt only. They make the sauteed spinach from scratch for each order, so they were able to make it for me with salt only, no garlic. When the waiter brought my fish and spinach, he told me that he he had caught that the pommes frites had pepper on them, and so they were remaking them. I rarely have the waiter catch such things - I am usually the one that figures it out and has to send it back. I also had the salmon, plain of course, and it was about as perfectly cooked as salmon can be.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place. Go for theLove this place. Go for the mussels! I ordered les moules frites a la Meet in Paris and it reminded me of les moules frites that I had last summer while visiting Le Havre in the Normandy region of France. It was THAT good. The mimosas were terrific as well. The service was excellent - our waitress was very attentive and the rest of the staff were very helpful. My new favorite restaurant in Culver City.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMComme ci, comme çaService - an overworked Erin- was superb. Food, as always, OK on some things (poulet roti, mussels) and a major miss (cold - not even warm - scallops) on another. But it's a nice location and the service is always outstanding. But the kitchen ...3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love this restaurant andWe love this restaurant and recommend to all of our friends.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBon nuit!everything here is great! it IS a bistro so the tables are Really small, but food more than makes up for it.I will certainly return for more GREAT mussels. They have acquired the perfect location in the heart of Culver City's promenade/dining row. The food is always great; all friends with whom we've shared dinner on the patio here leave very pleased [we do as well...].8/14/2012 12:00:00 AMWe came for the mussels inWe came for the mussels in lobster sauce. The Onion Soup was perfect. Delicious meal at a reasonable price.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic!MEET in Paris was a fantastic find! Great ambiance, excellent food, and our waiter could not have been better. It truly was a wonderful experience, and a new favorite spot!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA perfect night right out of ParisWhat a perfect night. Granted for those who remember this sis not ma Madison but a bistro. Everything was defect. The beet salad was a tower of beets topped with goat cheese nit the typical couple of chunks of beets and a bunch of lettuce, the escargots were terrific and the modules were quite good although small. The frites were ther best. Server was terrific. Of dessert we could donot decide between the fruit crumble and he profiteroles. Took the crumble and they brought the profiteroles gratis as I ha raved about hem elsewhere. For the standard type, they excelled, rich dark chocolate, cream puffs crisp and ice cream excellent. We will go back. It was truly a night that could have been in Paris except they spoke English.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
