Paired very nicely with seasonal veggies... we didn't save much room for dessert, but glad we had the gelato!   • "Took my octogenarian parents there and was hoping from previous reviews that the music/noise level would not be too much for them. You get used to it and we could still talk and the place was full. We didn't feel cramped and we were right inside the door. The only glitch the entire evening was that our entrees came out before the waiter brought my soup. No biggie. The saganaki is a must, but definitely order the pita points to go with it. It just comes by itself with the standard bread-that's no way to enjoy it! Both couples ordered the chef's choice since we were newbies. Excellent way to try the food. Also did the plate sharing (9.50/2nd person). Plenty of food! Gelato is a must...any flavor."

  • "The food is superb! Two Greek pork chops run around $21.95. (along with a garlic butter and oregano topping, braised veggies and a scoop of mashed potatoes. The Greek lamb chops are even better, but $34.95. The skordalia is exceptionally good, but the serving tends to be light on the vegetables. Ask for more. Service is quick and good. Servers were polite and attentive. Big plus is the video screen where you could see the stove where the food was prepared. The chef is well known and this what drives the clientele there. Don't be turned off by the outside, the inside decor is much nicer than you would think and the food is fabulous! We go back regularly."

  • "Amazing food, had the pasta primavera .....to die for, fresh grilled veggies were amazing, I even ate the beet and I hate beets!!!!! Love watching the chef cook on the tv! Always a great experience! Wish it were a little bigger and closer to the lake, the location is in a very weird place for such a great place! Will for sure be back."

  • "Yes, this place is expensive!! BUT if you want the best food in lake Geneva, and it is a special date, this is the place to go! We sit at the bar often, drinks are good, they pour in front of you, will open another bottle, if at the end.. They turn tables here quick, they have too... If you want a lingering dinner, request the back (lounge area), if you want AMAZING food fast....front. The chefs choice is always a grand deal. Get the combo, if you are a carnivour, and like it all. Best value."

  • "As others have said, the outside of this restaurant does not do justice to the outstanding food one finds on the inside. Very small place so be prepared to feel close to other diners. Food was delicious. Waiter brought out flaming Saganaki for appetizers and wonderful bread to go with it. Entrees are very large so think of sharing. My table had two pasta dishes that were definitely home made. The fish with lobster tail was just wonderful. Sides were also fresh, unusual and tasty. Did not have room for dessert but their gelato looked excellent. While there was a problem with the computer at the end of our meal, delaying us approximately 15 minutes, staff was very apologetic about the delay."

  • "Although it doesn't look like a "fantastic find" from the outside, Medusa Grill & Bistro serves delicious greek/mediterranean food. This was our first visit to Medusa Grill & Bistro and we were pleasantly surprised. We started with fresh bread and a wonderful flaming feta/red pepper (opa!) saganaki appetizer prepared table side by our server Joel. For entrees we chose Pork Cutlet Milanese and a Salmon/Lobster dinner, each were paired with whipped potatoes, sautéed vegetables, and a cabbage/curry salad/slaw. We were celebrating our anniversary, so we splurged and shared an amazingly creamy white chocolate crème brûlée. Everything was excellent! We have found a new Lake Geneva favorite - our compliments to chef Greg and his staff!"

  • "If you want to be able to actually talk to your dinner partner, better go someplace else. This is the 4th time we've tried Medusa's. All times were after 8:00 so it wasn't too busy. Between Hendrix for Music. Wall air conditioners above your head other guests and the expresso machine we could hardly hear one another. For $150 there are many other choices in town. "

The atmosphere is energetic with much conversation and music. I had the chef's choice of meat and seafood combo and my sig other had the filet. Both entrees were outstanding. I would highly recommend Medusa to anyone. The food has a unique taste and preparation in a stimulating dining experience. This is what I enjoy so much about small independent establishments that cannot be duplicated by even the finest chains. Summed up in one word: Awesome!. Don't pass on the opportunity to eat here."

  • "We had zero success getting them to answer to make a reservation. Online was the only choice. I included a request that in case of any cancellation, please seat us earlier, and told them it was an anniversary. They gave us an earlier seating. We were seated in their 'alternate' dining room, which, is a bar with tables. There were several other tables open, but they put us by the entrance door, near the hostess/wait station, at a pinch point between the bar and the rest of the tables. Between the awful, blaring Woodstock-era stoner music, to the pleasant but unrefined staff clamoring back and forth through the narrow pinch point next to us, to the imaginative but overpriced food, all that ruined the dinner. Goofy loud music, bi-polar menu. "
