  • "I love this place! The staff is fun and friendly, plus they are very knowledgeable so if you don't know what to drink or eat they will help. I think the music is a great choice, it keeps the energy up so the place doesn't get too stuffy or dull. The food is always amazing in quality, flavor, and portion! My "chef's choice" entree blew me away, it had a tri of seafood and a trio of meat and all were delicious. Be sure to always save room for their homemade gelato, a must try!"

  • "We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday here. It was exactly the fine dining experience we were looking for when we made reservations. Everything was cooked to Perfection! One of the best meals my wife and I have ever had and we have had our share of fine dining experiences. Starting with the grilled calamari with skordalla was AMAZING! The half lobster tail and salmon was also cooked nicely on the wood fired grill. You could really taste the difference over a regular grill. We were happy we finished our meal with the "in house" Gelato. It was the perfect way to end a Perfect meal! We will be back for sure!"

  • "I ate at Medusa when it first opened and it was very good. This was my second visit and things have changed because its now outstanding. Thursday night in cold Lake Geneva and the place was packed. What a great variety on the menu and its specials . Veal Picate was great as was the Chef's menu. What was really neat was the big screen TV camera aimed at the stove top to show what was cooking. Can't wait to go back."

  • "This is a great place my wife and I found when we first started dating, but took it off our list after we heard it transitioned to a tappas bar. Now its back! Their menu is diverse and offer an impressive list of Specials. We wanted to order everything on the menu! Our service was great. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The chef allways puts out a consistant product. Also a good place to come in for drinks and appetizers. You will not get mozzarella sticks and nachos here. We had grilled calamari, marinated beef kabobs, greek style pork ribs, scallops & lobster escargo. We had easily 3 other apps we wanted, but had to stop ourselves. We will be back. Cant say enough good things about this place."

  • "My husband and I went to Lake Geneva for our anniversary last August and at that time we did not make a reservation and were unable to dine at Medusa's. We had always wanted to go back due to amount of guests in the restaurant, ambiance and reviews. We were able to attend this past weekend for Valentine's Day and I made sure to make a reservation this time. We had extremely high expectations. I must say that my husband and I were completely blown out of the water by how fantastic this dining experience was. Not only was the service superb, ambience romantic, but the food was beyond wonderful. We will definitely be back and cannot wait to share this gem with our loved ones."

  • "This was our fourth visit to Medusa and it was a terrific experience again! Our server was polite, friendly, and attentive - Joel I believe. We enjoyed 2 bottles of wine and loved our food! I had the shrimp scampi- large tasty shrimp over pasta and my date had the Greek Ribs. He liked the a lot and said he'd order them again. Warm atmosphere- quality food and service. Great place!"

  • "This restaurant was a disappointment. It was suggested by a colleague who has enjoyed it. The music was too loud for a small crowded storefront. The lamb chops were substantial, but didn't taste like lamb and the tender, grilled short ribs were meaty, but tasted overwhelmingly of smoke flavoring. The beet salad was good. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, but our first glass of wine was a short pour. We did not feel that the meal justified the expense."

  • "After reading mixed reviews we decided to take a chance for a special night out and wasn't disappointed. The food was outstanding! We especially loved the Veal Picante (mmmmm), and the Chef's Mixed Grill, both recommended by our waiter. All the food was cooked to perfection, including lobster, salmon, and chicken (I didn't know chicken could be so tender/juicy). Also loved the atmosphere, kinda hip, cozy, and fun to watch food being prepared via video cam over bar. Looking forward to our next visit."

  • "The food was excellent! Very cool decor but very small restaurant, so reservations would be the way to go on weekends or other busy nights. The server was very knowledgeable and professional and attentive. Not many choices on the menu but everything looked great. I wouldn't categorize this restaurant as Mediterranean though there was a few things that seemed influenced by that cuisine. But it was very upscale and as I stated, the food was excellent. We would definitely return!"

  • "Prices were fairly reasonable for an upper echelon restaurant. Side dishes are included, but not salads, which are small for the price. We sampled a steak, veal, and lamb chops, and all were good. They have a camera in the kitchen streaming video onto a screen in the bar, so you can watch your meal being prepared. Intimate environment (aka small). Friends had raved about this restaurant, and while we found it to be very good for a fair price, it did not seem exceptional to me. We'll probably return the next time we want to eat somewhere nicer than a casual place."

  • "Looking for someplace different for New Years Eve dinner and stumbled across this little gem. The positive reviews were dead on! Intimate and inviting with great music at an ideal level. Pleasant and helpful waitstaff. Best calamari appetizer we've ever experienced and at least sharing a bowl of shrimp bisque is a must. We selected four different entrees and each one was terrific, with sides that were unique and memorable. We all agreed it was one of the best dining experiences of 2013 and we will certainly be returning regularly in 2014!"

  • "We were fortunate to get the only reservation available on New Year's Eve at 5:15 PM, and we were so glad we did! We had fantastic food that started with two appetizers, Italian sausage and a tray of olives & feta cheese. The sausage was so fresh!! The appetizers were generous and more than 2 of us could eat, so we took the leftovers home. Our meals, the Sicilian steak and the trout and lobster, were both cooked on the wood fired grill, and were fantastic, perfectly charred without being dry. We opted for double veggies and they were amazingly flavorful, especially the red cabbage with ginger. Great wine to accompany our meals, too. Homemade pumpkin sorbet made a perfect dessert. Can't wait to go back with friends!"

  • "Just had my third visit to Medusa and as always we had a fantastic experience! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is quite cozy. We ate the grilled calamari, shrimp diavola pasta and NY strip. All was fantastic, the food is all fresh and flavorful! And you must save room for dessert, the gelato is homemade and divine, and the chocolate cake is amazing as well!"

  • "Couldn't believe I was in Lake Geneva, WI and not downtown Chicago! Atmosphere was fun, but not too loud. Wait staff was outstanding! I'm not a wine drinker, but the list looked good. Watching wine service was professional and tasteful. I'm a Manhattan girl and mine was outstanding! We went with the specials (chicken and rib eye) which were presented beautifully and tasted even better. I would definitely recommend and go back. Prices are in par for quality of food. Not for kids."
