Mediterranee Restaurant is a quaint small French neighborhood restaurant serving french-mediterranean food. Chef/Owner Jacques Imperato has put together some of his finest recipes on the menus, where seasoning and taste is always in control. Being French but with an Italian and Spanish… background, Jacques has always something interesting to serve his guests. He was trained in France in classical and French Nouvelle Cuisine. Lunch is served Tuesday-Friday and offers two menus as well as A la Carte choices and Specials. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday. In addition to a tasty 3-course menu at $30.00, there are plenty of A la Carte choices. The charm of Mediterranee will remind you of a small French Inn around the Riviera, and the casual but prompt service brings to mind the French Bistro style. "Delicious as always! Clearly, despite its ever-increasing popularity for its convenience, great food, vibrant wines and capable staff, the crowd that arrived Friday evening was not expected and thus, the staff was a bit overwhelmed. While there were delays in service, the staff never became impatient with less patient customers. Mediterranee will remain our preferred neighborhood delight! Bravo!"

"Another delicious meal here, again with attentive service. Jacques continues to be inventive with everything from appetizers to entrees to desserts. His salads are totally out of the ordinary; each is more delectable than the last. Entrees include something to please every palate--from fish to meat to vegetarian. For dessert, I had the baked Alaska--over the top and very special. The presentation is beautiful; I almost feel like taking a photo before I begin to eat."

"A definite plus addition to the Great Falls dining scene, Mediterranee offers excellent food and service on a constant basis. Food in the French/Mediterranean style is prepared and presented with care, with the fish dishes being particularly outstanding. Reservations are recommended, as the dining room is small and can fill up. Prix-fixe menus and dining specials offer excellent value and the wine list complements the food."

"This was a great disappointment.We ordered a Brie and onion appetizer that turned out to be a good choice and remained hopeful that we had a found a neighborhood gem. I ordered a fish dish that the waitress told us was a popular favorite. It turned out to be very fishy and soggy.I had the feeling it had been prepared in advance and warmed over.I tried to eat it anyway, but when the waitress came back to see how we liked our food, I had eaten 1/2 of it, but could not tolerate anymore. I was still hungry so I asked for a house side salad instead. It turned out to be soggy with only a strong olive oil flavor.
No apologies were made and the fish remained on the bill. We eat out often and live in the neighborhood."

"I've eaten @ Mediterranee many times & each time there is some little problem. Yesterday was a very warm March day; when we arrived, it was HOT inside. The staff said the air conditioning was not working. The staff seemed to be incapable of making a decision, or perhaps they were not allowed to make a decision, to try to make it more comfortable for their customers. When we asked them to open the doors our waitress said that the "owner was on his way in". Not very satisfactory as we were already there & we were not comfortable. The staff discussed this & ultimately opened the doors, which immediately let cool air in & we were happy again. Please train the staff to make customer-friendly decisions without waiting for the owner!"
