  • "Mediterra is an amazing restaurant with great tasting food. I had the Greek chicken entrée and it was simply superb. Will definitely go back here again to sample something else."

  • "One of my favorite restaurants! So gorgeous, and great food =)"

  • "We started off the meal with the Burrata Caprese which was excellent. The combination of heirloom and beefsteak tomatoes along with the fresh Mozzarella were a taste duo. We shared Paella for two which was very tasty. Overall the meal was very enjoyable."

  • "Super friendly , great food. Appetizers came out almost the same time as the entree . Manager had new entree made and comped appetizers. They go out of their way to make their customers happy. Definitely return. Food was excellent!"

  • "Made a reservation but when we arrived we were told the wait will be 15 minutes. However it was only 5 minutes and we were quickly seated. Our server was very knowledgeable as well as friendly. The food was delicious!"

  • "We have been to Mediterra multiple times and the service and food was not consistent. While the food was good on Sunday (not exceptional), the service was less than what would be expected. For example, the waitress asked what kind of water we wanted (we asked for sparkling); she responded "Okay, plain ice water," left and brought plain ice water. When we ordered the wine (white), the waitress brought it, poured and said she would be right back with a wine chiller. She did not bring it--we had to ask the next time we could even get her attention. Regarding the food, my son's striped bass was good, the paella the rest of us shared (3 people) was just okay. We have had better--even at Mediterra. We will not be going back for a while."

  • "Service is efficient and all diners are treated with respect. The ambiance is conducive to dining by all ages. Everything is clean and the table assistants do a good job of cleaning between courses. The meals are delicious and presented in a delightful manner, nicely garnished."

  • "Excellent location and setting, especially if you are lucky enough to sit outside on a nice evening as we were. Service was quite attentive and the menu is varied and solid. A good choice."

  • "Its a bit crowded and noisy (lively) but not over the top. Very pleasant and upbeat atmosphere, very good service, and truly mediterranean food with typical flavors of the region that you just don't get much over here. Really good."

  • "Great service, attenting but not over the board. Food is very good over last couple of years we're coming here. Decent "by the glass" wine selection"

  • "Enjoyed our dinners ~ home made pasta Bolognese with cheese platter for my appetizer and great Caesar salad and pork chop. Great table outside by the fountain with a great view of the town. Highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "We ate at Mediterra over the 4th of July weekend in 2014. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful with the communication between indoor and outdoor dining areas. We would recommend this location and plan on returning."

  • "I invited 4 friends to lunch and picked Mediterra as I had been there before for lunch. We were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. The lamb burger was the hit if the day!"

  • "Very enticing food selection. Wine selection good, not great. Friendly wait staff, but inexperienced."

  • "Good location, convenient parking in municipal garage, great atmosphere, attentive waiter (thank you, Josh!). Food was just OK. We had salads for lunch, mine was mostly spinach leaves, could have used more than the couple slivers of fruit and sprinkle of nuts. The Sparkling Sangria was perfect for the hot summer afternoon! Refreshing and not too sweet. I would try it again when going for more than a salad in order to give a fair appraisal."

  • "We stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling throughPrinceton. We were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. Also convenient location in Palmer Square. I wish there had been dining options like this back in my days as a Princeton student."

  • "Great from start to finish. Warm greeting to us and our guests. In addition to on menu items the specials were delicious and priced comparatively. We loved the salmon, chicken and scallop entrees were tops for us. The special carpaccio starter should be iconized into the permanent menu. The Italian Viognier recommended by Carmine was a perfect fit for all of our entrees. The Prosecco offered was tickled our taste buds. Till the next time very soon!!"

  • "Overall disappointed in tonight's meal and service. The brushetta was excellent. The caesar salad disappointing. One other diner agreed. The caesar salad was tasteless. Another diner at our table had the Terhune Orchard salad. She raved about it. Oh well. The three entrees were good - I had the wild mushroom pasta, another diner had the fusilli with seafood pesto and the third diner had the Griggs farm free range chicken. All were good. I thought the menu selection (especially the specials for the night) were not varied and few. Our drinks were ok as well. It was a beautiful night to eat outdoors. Our waitress had absolutely no personality. Too bad. She would have made our evening more enjoyable."

  • "We all enjoyed the vegetable tagine and our various pasta dishes. There were so many appealing items on the menu that we had difficulty choosing!"

  • "Party of 7 college friends (15 yrs) reuniting for lunch. Started with Rose and white Sangria -- although we liked the rose better. Frittata is a must order from The brunch part of the menu. Chicken gyro from the lunch-side. Chocolate trio would be the suggested dessert. The waitress didn't rush us and even added a complimentary dessert for the group :) We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere so much we agreed it could be our common meeting place (Average drive 1.5 hrs)"

  • "Mediterra has always been our favorite local restaurant until our last dinner there. Service was poor. Our waitress seemed to disappear for long periods of time. When we questioned her, she said she had other tables to wait on. Three of us ordered the striped bass which was good although a bit oily. One ordered the Griggs Farm chicken and requested it well done. It arrived rare and had to be sent back which was not easy as no one seemed to be serving our table. It was sent back to the kitchen and arrived when the rest of us were almost finished with our dinner. An apology was given but a credit or glass of wine would have helped the bad taste left by our dinner. Mediterra shape up as we need good local restaurants."

  • "Went here for a birthday. Have been going to this restaurant since it opened. The food is always top quality and everything from inventive to good standard fare. The menu is a combination of standard items and specials. Had the tuna ceviche and scallops special. Everything was cooked perfectly and fresh. The special asparagus gazpacho was a real treat. Highly recommend you try this place."

  • "We were seated and the wait staff did not come over to the table for quite some time, we asked for soda and he forgot. The food was good but the service was lacking. The noise level is very high. Not sure what they can do about the noise maybe something on the walls not sure."

  • "If you are a duck fan, get the duck - it was amazing! And the sparkling white sangria was terrific too. Service was a bit slow for a Thursday night and they brought out the wrong salad, but the manager (Sarah) checked in on us multiple times and was perfectly lovely. The special salad was farm fresh and locally sourced. Everything was delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat."

  • "We had a wonderful meal. Fussili with shrimp and scallops in basil was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Service was attentive but not overbearing. No complaints except the noise level. Was difficult to have a conversation because the place was so "lively""

  • "Enjoyed every step. Octopus appetizer was great. The paella was flavorful and nicely presented. Enjoyed a wonderful bottle of Turley."

  • "Monday night was very disappointing. First, you do not provide decent choice of vegan dishes. Considering that yours is mostly an Italian cuisine, the choices of delicious vegetable dishes is huge, you can offer the cheese on the side and you have a vegan option. I ordered the vegetable only, without the stripe bass, the vegetables were swimming in oil, disgusting and absolutely not necessary. Second, we ordered the special only to be told that you did not have any more fish or vegetable for the special. Third, those in my party that had fish, the fish was dry and oily, obviously overcooked. I will be hard pressed to come back."

  • "As always Mediterra proved to be wonderful for our family's dinner. The lovely weather allowed us to eat outside and as always the food was wonderful. The seasonal menu was varied enough to satisfy all members of our group from a 6 year old to a non-vegetable eater. The service was friendly. We loved it!"

  • "Wonderful outdoor (or indoor) dining with delicious, artfully presented food and friendly, attentive service. I love the variety of Mediterranean choices, as well as the range of prices for options. Inclusion of the specialities of the day within the menu was appreciated. I enjoyed the range of flavors and textures in my gnocchi main dish, every mouthful was a pleasure. The rhubarb tart with vanilla ice cream was also outstanding. We brought our cousins from San Francisco to this restaurant and our local gem stood up to their abundant, high quality options. An added element was the fun of running into people you know because it is a neighborhood treasure."
