Perhaps because there is limited,
and I mean limited, space for seating, attention can be properly given to food and service. By far the best cocktails. The bar sits directly facing the open kitchen with a wood fire/brick oven lighting the entire Mediterranean themed dining area that is tastefully done. We sat directly behind the bar area and as there is limited space, the entire wait staff can be seen at all times and becomes "stuffy" or intimidating. The food, however is superb, flavorful and the desert heaven. I recommend this place (reservation definitely) for a date, but do not expect an intimate setting. Groups no larger than four will fit in this quaint but refined and elegant area."

We always come here before
concerts at the AAC. CAUTION this place is small and intimate, if you don't have a reservation do not expect to get a table. Especially if their is anything happening at the AAC. We have not had anything that we did not LOVE."

Always great service, outstanding
food with authentic tastes, staff and Owner make everyone feel like a VIP. Reasonably priced, fantastic cocktails!"

A friend and I went to Dallas and
wanted to find a Moroccan restaurant as he's never had it. I ordered the lamb tagine and my friend ordered the beef tagine and a side of cous cous. The lamb was tender and the sauce was perfect with the added goat cheese and potatoes. The cous cous was the best either of us have ever had. Perfect for a nice date night or a group of friends. The ambiance is great too, dimmed lighting with fun light fixtures and paintings along with the perfect level of music that puts you in the Moroccan atmosphere. The owner is a delight as well, welcoming us and making sure everything was prepared perfectly. 5 stars for this place and next time I'm in Dallas I will be returning."

The location can be challenging to
find. If you're from out of town, be sure to call ahead and confirm where your taxi driver should drop you off. The food was prepared and seasoned well. Their hummas is from scratch and seemed homemade as well. For dinner I split the seafood entree served over couscous, it was delicious. But next time I would like to try their tagine chickin with apricots. I highly recommend their tea and vanilla bean creme brulee ~ AMAZING!!!"

We enjoyed it ....not a very large
place but very charming."

The food and service at Medina
Oven and Bar are equally wonderful. I had the Beef Tenderloin Tagine and it was wonderful - such a nice combination of tender meat and good spices! Sam the owner even took time to sit down and chat with us."

I love this place. This was my
third visit and I can't wait to get back. Food and drinks are great. Service is awesome and the owner is always within a stones throw of his customers."
Dined on 12/21/2013
We tried Medina for the first time
and we will definately go back. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent as well. The only drawback is parking. This is a very busy area with lots of restaurants, so parking was hard to find."

I went with a group of four, when
we were in town for a conference. We started with aa appetizer of pita (fresh and warm) with a tray of spreads, including hummus, bell pepper spread, etc. , the Morrocan flavor a were great! Spicy, and flavorful, but not hot. We had different tagines for entries and the fish and chicken tagines were all excellent. Fresh berries with cinnamon cream for dessert, which was also excellent. Ambience is quiet enough for conversation, but not stiff. Service also excellent. Would be great for a romantic meal, but also great for a group."

We were looking for a new place to
eat before a Mavs game and came across Medina. We are so happy we did. It's a little walk (3 blocks?) to the game but well worth the extra steps. The food was outstanding. We had eggplant dip (very tasty), goat cheese phyllo (yummy), beef skewers (melt in you mouth tender) and Marrakesh chicken tagine (great flavors). With a bottle of wine and tip it was under $100 for 2 people and leftovers to take home. We didn't try the pizza but it looked delicious. Definitely on the try list for the next game. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Very friendly and got us out in plenty of time for the walk to the game. Give it a try!"

A tiny place with great food and
great service. Great for a date night, or cocktails with friends."

I love this restaurant. We brought
a group of friends visiting Dallas from different parts if the world and we had a lovely meal. The decor is just beautiful and the food is consistently good. One of my favorite spots in Dallas!"

We were immediately greeted by a
warm and welcoming staff. We had the sampler plate that came out with warm pita bread. We had steak, chicken and seafood. All were well seasoned and moist. Dining does take awhile so it's better to plan the evening around the meal rather than fine here when you have somewhere else to be."
Dined on 10/19/2013
We had a large group meet at
Medina's for dinner and they were very accommodating. The owner Sam was very welcoming and we appreciated his hospitality. The food was really good-We split and appetizer plate of different dips which we all enjoyed. I had the chicken tagine and couscous, both were delicious. For dessert we shared a few plates of baklava which was terrific. It is a little bit hard to find- it is on the walking mall part of Victory Park. We plan to go back soon."

Chose this restaurant when
visiting from Austin--reserved through Open Table. Wonderful menu--choices for everyone to choose from! Fresh ingredients and delicious selections--from appetizer through dessert . Very good wine list with very good recommendation from our waiter. Live in Dallas or just visiting-this restaurant would be a wonderful place to try or make a regular restaurant choice!"

Went with a party of 10 people --
we were quite happy with our meals and the service was top notch. And in the end, quite reasonably priced. Many people in our group were happy to experience Medina and said they would return. It's a beautiful restaurant, and feels very warm and comfortable inside. We were able to speak to each other without yelling, too! A big plus."
Dined on 9/29/2013
As always Medina never
disappoints. Took my family for lunch and it was outstanding."
Dined on 9/24/2013
We enjoyed our dinner. The hummus
and fresh, warm pita bread were excellent. Our only complaint was the indoor temperature. It was probably 84-85 degrees the entire time. We sweated all the way through dinner. We would go again, but not in hot weather. I think the people seated outside were actually faring better than we were. The Victory Park area is DEAD when nothing is going on at the AAC, so this was a great time to try something a little different, and we're glad we did."

We were visiting from out of town
and had a taste for Mediterranean food for lunch. We found Medina on Open Table. The previous reviews were positive, so we gave it a try. The food was good and we were not disappointed."

Food was excellent and was well
presented. Lamb chops outstanding, as was sea bass. Appetizer tray also very good. Will definitely return."

Medina is one of my go-to
restaurants when in the Victory Park area of Dallas. Walking distance to House of Blues and American Airlines center. The staff is really friendly and the owner personally visits the tables. The restaurant is small but well-decorated and comfortable. Our favorite foods to get here are the tagines - all are excellent - the lamb chops come with potato layered with creamy goat cheese - absolutely awesome! If you like seafood as I do, the imperial fez seafood couscous is also quite good, as is the sea bass tagine. If you're looking for a lighter meal, the fennel and lamb sausage pizza is yummy as well. You really can't go wrong at Medina. Enjoy!"

the environment was full of
ambiance and delightful servers. The staff was very helpful and the mint tea was out of this world! Each entrée we shared was simply mouthwatering!"

Alex and Sam are awesome,"

One of my favorite places to eat!
Food is always delicious and wait staff is attentive. Sam is a great owner of the restaurant as well and very hospitable. The harissa is a great start and incredibly awesome. The goat cheese and harissa and the lamb sausage skewers are addictive. The chicken apricot tagine entree is another yummy dish that we always get. Will be back as often as possible!"

I'd say this is a really good
Moroccan restaurant, something that I can be proudly recommend to my friends. My husband celebrated his birthday over there and the service was superb. My only complaint is that I asked of they were doing something for birthdays because it was my husbands bday. They did deliver a small cake complete with candles and all BUT they charged us $7 for that tiny cake. Although delicious, I thought that was a little tacky. Plus it was fairly expensive for what you get. Other than that, I have no complaints. I had the seafood pastillas and it was delicious. My husband had chicken tagine and he liked it. But the best part is my 8 year old very picky LOVED the chicken kabob and rice."

This place is an excellent find!
Truly tasty food, friendly and prompt service, an inviting European atmosphere, and the funniest and most charming manager - Sam! You must visit this place if you are in the neighborhood!"

Don't miss this incredible
restaurant in the Victory Park area! Great food, absolutely top-level service and really nice outdoor eating experience."

My wife loved it. A very picky
eater who hates to eat out. She has already booked a return visit. Enough said."

food was delicious and the service was fantastic"
Dined on 4/5/2013
This was our fist time at Medina
Oven and Bar. The grilled eggplant was delicious. We also had beef and lamb skewers that were very good with couscous. Overall delicious food. We sat outside in the patio overlooking water fountains which was nice. There were 8 of us including 4 kids. I think the service could have been more timely but was attentive overall."
Dined on 3/31/2013
Great to go to a nice place with
obvious owner involvement and care. I haven't had Moroccan food, and I plan to return"
