We were there on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy and loud. You can order an entree or there are small plates of different foods to try and share. The drink menu is outstanding and they have a great selection of unique beers. The menu is different that was most places offer but the food is great and it was a great experience. My ONLY complaint was that we were seated directly in front of the patio door. It was a chilly night so the air kept rushing in every time staff came to and from the patio. This time we went later on a weekend with another couple and the setting was perfect for a no-kid experience! This was the first time we've had any issues with the service being slow and on the poor side with infrequent drink refills and poor knowledge of the food menu. Our waiter patrick was super knowledgeable. Also someone we were with relayed our opinions on the food to Patrick, and he took care of the two dishes we felt were not on par with everything else we ate. That was really surprising and such a great example of customer service...especially since the Mac n cheese (a special) and berry shortcake weren't BAD they just weren't the amazing mouth sensations like everything else we ate. The zuchinni chips were INCREDIBLE and we had the beets salad with walnuts and honey (amazing, and we've even recreated the recipe at home!), the seared ahi tuna sticks were incredible. The biggest let down of the night was the pork belly. It may have been that everything else was just so delicious that we weren't really hungry by the time the pork belly came up... but we felt we had to eat it because we ordered it... The hummus is by far the best I've ever had, hands down. The deviled eggs were delicious. The flavor was so unique and I couldn't help wanting more. The pork belly with blue cheese grits was amazing. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and melt in your mouth inside. Last, but certainly not least the pecan pie was to die for. I would also recommend the bacon lollipops, which are my husband's favorite. The wide selection of beers is always an adventure even though I tend to lean towards the pear and elderberry martini.
