  • Excellent service and great food

We had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner with our whole family. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The wine list was very good and the wine that we enjoyed was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant, even if you don't care that they run a kosher establishment.

I was mildly disappointed by the food. After reading reviews I had expected to be blown away, but i was definitely not. The service was great and they were very attentive, but that doesn't make up for the price difference between their lacking food and overpriced menu. For the price of their food you may as well pick a restaurant where you'll feel satisfied. Locations nice and so is atmosphere but if you're coming to eat, don't waste your time here.

Just because a place is kosher doesn't make it good. I had the Moroccan lamb stew, which was ok, my husband at the beef bourginoun, which didn't look appetizing and he said wasn't very good. Another had the hamburger, which he described as overdone on one side, underdone on the other. Prices, of course were very high. For this type of food, in this neighborhood, Talia's is better.

One disaster after another. The restaurant had few patrons, Yet, it took ages to get bread and water. We had to try 2 bottles of wine before the 3rd was ok. 20 minutes after placing order learned that bison steak was not available after 25 minutes learned that vegetable soup was lentil soup. Appetizer for table arrived without plates. Fortunately the food was ok. Not worth the money or aggravation.

Food was just OK. Not many steaks on the menu for a "Steakhouse". Service was slow and I attentive. Too many other places know how to provide great service!

If you are at Symphony Space or another upper Eastside venue, there isn't much kosher choice. The food at lunch, mostly salads and burgers, is okay, the prices are reasonable. Stay away from the apple pie-a disaster!

A nicely decorated spot to have a great kosher meal. The service was very helpful and thoughtful as best as they could be. Food was excellent but some servings where cold. Another table had food that was overcooked. We believe this is easily resolved with a little more thought and practice. Menu was well thought out and diverse for the meat lover. Restaurant was comfortable and not too noisy. This is a very nice place to have a great meal at modest pricing.

Server was rude, forgetful, inattentive, and got things wrong. Didn't know that was possible. Meat was overcooked and flavorless. Wine list was pathetic and limited to "house red and white" by glass. Will need vast improvements for me to return.
