Our reservation was honored immediately and we did not have to wait for our table though the outdoor dining area was full. Best buffalo mozzarella, light and fluffy, with tasty tomatoes, then excellent sea bass. The seafood is truly fresh. A nearby table hosted a large group of large basketball players, the Indiana Pacers, in town to challenge the Heat. The only reason food wasn't 5 stars was because the 12 oz Filet was a little over cooked. Medium came out more Med-well to well. Everything else was flawless. We had the beef tartare appetizer, and half down of oysters (west coast/blue point). The main dish we had 16 oz ribeye + the smoked gouda tater tots. OMG. The management is extremely accommodating/considerate of special requests. I loved seating in the back area across from the kitchen --- separated from the heart of the restaurant with quiet comfortable booths that allow you to have conversation and enjoy the overall experience. We had outdoor seating and the food was fabulous. No one rushed us and we enjoyed people watching. Both my husband and I got the artichokes and they were so good. Our server, Edy, started us off with a great smile and was very knowledgeable of the menu. She took great care of us from start to finish. The Hamachi, as well as the Tuna Tar tare appetizers were great. My buffalo filet was rare and perfect, topped with very tasty mole butter. The roasted bone marrow was divine! Baby roasted beets with pistachios...mmmmmmmm. My husband had the best seasbass of his life. He raved. We ended with the molten chocolate cake and it was fantastic! Let me tell you, it may have been the best thing I have ever tasted. I love steak and this was the most flavorful piece of meat I have ever eaten. We dined there Christmas day, just having arrived in Miami. Lively & festive, yet not too noisy or crowded. Great wine list, but not much under $100. Service was outstanding. When our server became busy, the manager stepped in & helped work his tables. Very seemless. Amazing cocktails. If you like tequila, you must try "I Love Gold." We split 20 oz bone-in Kobe beef ribeye- AMAZING. Escargot with truffle & bourson to start& tender crab claws as big as my fist. We finished with homemade ice cream- salted caramel and brown sugar.
