  • "This is a modern take on "steak house". The food was very good & the steaks were excellent. The wine list is well curated & I enjoyed talking with the sommelier (Allison). We had the '06 Peter Michael & it was perfect with our dinners. They have a range of trophy wines & affordable gems incl many french wines. The outdoor dining is very nice, but b/c we had a larger party, they sat us inside. The table was right up front so we got "bumped" by passersby, but it was ok. The service was just right: there when we needed them. Definitely would recommend and will return!"

  • "...at Meat Market is going to set you back quite a few bucks, especially if you're ordering appetizers, sides and wine as we did. The wine list is very interesting, though there weren't many bottles that were moderately priced. That said, my steak was excellent and my dinner companions all enjoyed their meals."

  • "Everything from the Black Truffle Oil to Lobster Mac and Cheese, this place nailed it. I went for my birthday and was happy to find that Meat Market is as good as my friends told me. The steaks cooked to perfection and delicious. All and all a great spot if you want to a nice meal."

  • "Good food, service , and atmosphere. Definately a go-to spot when in Miami"

  • "Found this gem on Chowhound Forums while searching "Lincoln Rd restaurants that aren't tourist traps". Zen/hipster decor: wood-clad walls, wine shelves, sparkling candles. Beautifully prepared meat and sides, half portions available. Attentive team format service."

  • "Picked this between reading TripAdvisor and walking by the night before. Was super impressed with the staff - casual, approachable, and knowledgable. Would recommend "reserve" items as my ribeye was one of the better meats I've had. Would definitely recommend or eat at again. Only 'con' was a wobbly table - not bad!!"

  • "elegance and cuisine on Lincoln Road. Perfect for a quieter respite from the hubbub of pedestrians. Bit pricey."

  • "Loved meat market if only because it is a more modern steakhouse. For those tired of the stuffy, formula piece Capital Grille, Mortons or Ruth Chris, this is a modern take in a beautiful setting. Wish the price list was more reasonably priced, because that would make it perfect!"

  • "Staff friendly, and informative. Food perfectly cooked and presented, best steak for a long time. Try the mac and cheese side dish!"

  • "I dine here atleast once a month and I always have a great experience! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The Sommelier even came to the table to review the wine list with us. This is definitely one of the trendy restaurants in South Beach to not miss!!"

  • "I was expecting more flavors and better presentation from the food. Not impressed with anything the restaurant offered. We wouldn't be back and it has nothing exceptional to recommend it. Service was very good and on lincoln road. But those were the two highlights."

  • "Thank you to the Staff. You were more than accommodating with my food allergies, thanks tomthenmambagebt for coming to the table to discuss my needs. Our waiters Sean and Chris We're great. We had a lot of fun with them. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "When we arrived, the hostess confirmed that we did in fact have a reservation, but they would not be honoring it as they were busy. It was like a scene out of Seinfeld. She said we could wait an hour for a potential table and didn't even attempt an apology. Because we had an elder guest that couldn't stand for an hour in hopes of finally sitting, we spent our money at a restaurant that actually cared about returning customers."

  • "This was easily the best meal I've ever had in Miami and a perfect way to cap off a fun few days of sunshine and warmth. We started with a drink inside at the bar and moved outside for dinner. The service was attentive (without being annoying), and everything our table of four ordered was outstanding. The menu is pricey, but our meal was worth every penny!"

  • "Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Very expensive and the food was below average with horrible service. The waiters were very rude and completely unattentive. My salad had way too much balsamic vinager. I told the waiter and all he said was ok. Completely disappointed. Never coming back."

  • "I remember when the restaurant was across the street and called Touch. That was our favorite place, very intimate and romantic. Meat Market was just the opposite--very loud and no privacy at all. The atmosphere was not at all like I was expecting and I was quite disappointed. I will not go back."

  • "It was my mother's birthday and they accommodated to everything i asked for without a problem. The service was amazing and consistent. The food was delightful but the severing sizes vary from too small to too large. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone would want to celebrate a special occasion."

  • "Can't find anything to complain about because the just get everything right. Steak was prepared as requested. Salads were terrific. Had the mando wedge,,,large and fresh, and delicious. Kobe Meatloaf to die for."

  • "This has got to be the best overall restaurant in Lincoln Road ! The variety of food , drink , service and ambiance is so well rounded it is hard not to brag about it !"

  • "The food and service were fairly good. It's considered a high end steakhouse, but it lacks excellence for the prices they charge and reputation they seek. My wife ordered the sampler with three different pieces of meat. she requested medium, but they were not exactly medium. They also did not considerably distinguish themselves in flavor. The various sauces were not great. The approache to the options in the menu was very nice. Many choices which we like. I ordered the flank steak and it was just ok."

  • "My wife had a great meal on an early Saturday night. Food and service were great. Wish Meat Market would offer a few more reasonably priced glasses and bottle of wine. I bet less than 5% of the bottles were under $100, which I do not think is in line with the food costs. Other than that, a great experience."

  • "This place was awesome in everyday. Samantha and Robert took great care of our group of 7. We loved the experience and would go back for sure!"

  • "The only negative review I have is that there aren't a lot of wine choices by the glass. Also, when we asked our waitress about portion of side dishes she said they were big enough for one person. She lied because it easily could have been shared between two people. Other than those two things we really enjoyed the food."

  • "We've been in MM few times, as always food was very good but pricy. After having a great Kobe steak, I heard the table next to us been told about the price of the Kobe prior to ordering. Wow, that was pricy, I did not ask, as I'm use to pay 2-2.5 half times for Kobe, but not 4 times. This was a total rip off. I guess because the waiter wanted to make more tip on our dinner he never told us the price. I spoke to the GM and sure he indicated the price should have been told prior to order. So, watch after the Kobe offering...."

  • "I was a frequent customer, It use to be a great place to have dinner; food is still ok, but service has gone bad and be aware of the sommelier, since they will definitely try to serve a wine you didn't ask for; as I said, it's a shame. Never to come back!!!"

  • "We decided to eat at the bar because the bartenders were gorgeous and attentive. The Cherry Pisco Sours were unusual and delicious. I had the Mixed Grill which was fabulous and my husband got the Meatloaf which was to die for. It is on our new list of favorites!"

  • "The prices were high and the quality of the food was low. Worst steak that i have ever had and i ve had alot of bad one. Take a pass. the service was very good but the food was very bad. Steak was literally tasteless and then we were charge almost double the menu price for some reason.."

  • "Very friendly service, we had to push back our reservations twice ( due to traffic) and they were very understanding and friendly! Great service, always refilling glasses and checking if food is good. Steak is great, crab cakes were very good, Sides:Lobster risotto was "OK"and spinach was great. Desert very yummie. Overall nice atmosphere and very good food - and you pay the price for it."

  • "My husband and I were at Meat Market several times and last friday it was a very bad experience, the food ( steaks) were very wrong cooking poor selection and tasteless. For the price they charge the quality should be there. We will not return anytime soon."

  • "In a land of many steak houses it's hard to know which ones will stand the test of time. This one stands up to the hype. Boasting a knowledgeable waitstaff and a notable wine list, my only complaint (not specific to this restaurant but all of Miami "scene-y" restaurants) is that it's a little pricey . No need to charge $16 for grilled artichoke (though it was a DELICIOUS grilled artichoke). You're paying for the consistent food, the attentive service (which unfortunately is not common in Miami) and, the scene. It's all totally worth it in my opinion. Side note: I would LOVE if they brought back Sunday Brunch. I am a big brunch person and I still haven't found it's equal in Miami."

  • "What a great place. I think this is one of Miami's best. We.had the Hamachi and crab cakes to followed by steak. Yummy! The sommelier was dead on. We started with a1/2 bottle of Kosta Browne and then one of her suggestions. Both great bottles. The service was exceptional and can't wait to go back."

  • "Very expensive but worth it! Outdoor dining was very nice. This place is located in a "strip mall" type of layout. You can shop and dine. We had the salmon and several appetizers. Beef stew was very good and the lamb ribs were the best we've ever had. Service could have been better. This place gets busy, so plan ahead. Their cocktails are really good! Very creative and tasty"

  • "This restaurant is so over-priced for the dining experience it provides. Service is so amateur and awful. The wines offered are ridiculously expensive. Not a good restaurant at all."

  • "We dined here for second time in two weeks. Split the house salad and the mixed grill, which that day included an excellent snapper and steak. Then the key lime cheesecake. All plentiful and superb. The bookstore next door is another SoBe Lincoln Rd. favorite."

  • "This restaurant on Lincoln Road in South Beach was delicious! Our steaks were prepared perfectly, and the atmosphere was very elegant. They have a huge wine list. The service was great as well. We will go back. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. The sides are pretty large, so they can be shared. We sat inside because we wanted a little more romantic atmosphere, but outdoors would be very nice as well."

  • "Overall good dining experience. It's pricey and while the steak and food was very good, it wasn't the most amazing meal I've ever had which I was expecting for the price."
