  • "This is a modern take on "steak house". The food was very good & the steaks were excellent. The wine list is well curated & I enjoyed talking with the sommelier (Allison). We had the '06 Peter Michael & it was perfect with our dinners. They have a range of trophy wines & affordable gems incl many french wines. The outdoor dining is very nice, but b/c we had a larger party, they sat us inside. The table was right up front so we got "bumped" by passersby, but it was ok. The service was just right: there when we needed them. Definitely would recommend and will return!"

The wine list is very interesting, though there weren't many bottles that were moderately priced. That said, my steak was excellent and my dinner companions all enjoyed their meals."

  • "When we arrived, the hostess confirmed that we did in fact have a reservation, but they would not be honoring it as they were busy. It was like a scene out of Seinfeld. She said we could wait an hour for a potential table and didn't even attempt an apology. Because we had an elder guest that couldn't stand for an hour in hopes of finally sitting, we spent our money at a restaurant that actually cared about returning customers."

  • "This was easily the best meal I've ever had in Miami and a perfect way to cap off a fun few days of sunshine and warmth. We started with a drink inside at the bar and moved outside for dinner. The service was attentive (without being annoying), and everything our table of four ordered was outstanding. The menu is pricey, but our meal was worth every penny!"

  • "The food and service were fairly good. It's considered a high end steakhouse, but it lacks excellence for the prices they charge and reputation they seek. My wife ordered the sampler with three different pieces of meat. she requested medium, but they were not exactly medium. They also did not considerably distinguish themselves in flavor. The various sauces were not great. The approache to the options in the menu was very nice. Many choices which we like. I ordered the flank steak and it was just ok."

  • "My wife had a great meal on an early Saturday night. Food and service were great. Wish Meat Market would offer a few more reasonably priced glasses and bottle of wine. I bet less than 5% of the bottles were under $100, which I do not think is in line with the food costs. Other than that, a great experience."

Also, when we asked our waitress about portion of side dishes she said they were big enough for one person. She lied because it easily could have been shared between two people.   • "We've been in MM few times, as always food was very good but pricy. After having a great Kobe steak, I heard the table next to us been told about the price of the Kobe prior to ordering. Wow, that was pricy, I did not ask, as I'm use to pay 2-2.5 half times for Kobe, but not 4 times. This was a total rip off. I guess because the waiter wanted to make more tip on our dinner he never told us the price. I spoke to the GM and sure he indicated the price should have been told prior to order. So, watch after the Kobe offering...."

Great service, always refilling glasses and checking if food is good. Steak is great, crab cakes were very good, Sides:Lobster risotto was "OK"and spinach was great. Desert very yummie.   • "In a land of many steak houses it's hard to know which ones will stand the test of time. This one stands up to the hype. Boasting a knowledgeable waitstaff and a notable wine list, my only complaint (not specific to this restaurant but all of Miami "scene-y" restaurants) is that it's a little pricey . No need to charge $16 for grilled artichoke (though it was a DELICIOUS grilled artichoke). You're paying for the consistent food, the attentive service (which unfortunately is not common in Miami) and, the scene. It's all totally worth it in my opinion. Side note: I would LOVE if they brought back Sunday Brunch. I am a big brunch person and I still haven't found it's equal in Miami."

We started with a1/2 bottle of Kosta Browne and then one of her suggestions. Both great bottles. The service was exceptional and can't wait to go back."

  • "Very expensive but worth it! Outdoor dining was very nice. This place is located in a "strip mall" type of layout. You can shop and dine. We had the salmon and several appetizers. Beef stew was very good and the lamb ribs were the best we've ever had. Service could have been better. This place gets busy, so plan ahead. Their cocktails are really good! Very creative and tasty"

We will go back. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. The sides are pretty large, so they can be shared. We sat inside because we wanted a little more romantic atmosphere, but outdoors would be very nice as well."
