McLoone's Pier House - National HarborGreat on the river restaurantThis is our second time dining here and for my birthday. It's conviently located to us and usually not so crowded during the week. It is expensive as all the restaurants at the National Harbor are and there aren't any discounts nor can you get points for dining here and you have to pay for parking. It seemed more as if we dropped into a pricey resort restaurant than a nearby riverfront pub. The tender steaks and savory seafood were served hot and cooked as ordered. The high point for the night however, was the superb service we received from our server Marcus. He was knowledgable, attentive and enjoyable to have around. I was expecting a little more from the Parmesan mashed potatoes given the name and the other food but they were fine.
