After a great meal down the boards the night before, and previous experiences at McLoone's for drinks, we were hopeful for a decent meal before the Saturday Light of Day Show at the Paramount next door. Well, we had a meal. It was kind of telling that the bar was full with playoff foodball watchers, but there were open tables at 7:00 PM. Food was underseasoned, fried foods were a bit greasy, and the service mediocre at best. We might have been better off just drinking or going upstairs for the fabulous Bobby Bandiera show, but we had a date with Bruce Springsteen and friends at the Paramount. Definately come for the bar, which is lively and fun, but maybe go across the street for a burger/better meal (look for Tillie on the marquis).

Our server Brittani was engaged and attentive. The entrees were spot-on, and the bartender not only shared the recipe for the excellent sangria, he drew a diagram to show the proportions. It just feels right here.

It was a very cold night in middle of week, so it probably was more quiet than usual. Staff, ambiance and food very enjoyable. We will be back. In fact we are coming back for a show in the upstairs space this December - can't wait!

Waiter service was bland. left hungry and disappointed and spent way too much money on one appetizer, a salad and hamburger. will be sure to pass on the word on how diappointing the meal was. it was an anniversary night and a let down. sorry we didn't go to our usual place where great service and a great meal is always on hand!
