"Very good food, service and especially good macarons! Menu is limited, but offers a nice variety. Burgers were good and the fish tacos had a nice amount of spice. The crab risotto special didn't disappoint either."

"We went to McCrossen's for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had been there for lunch several times in the past and had enjoyed the food. The food was very good and the service good. But the noise level was so high that we had to shout at each other in order to be heard. I was hoarse when we left and the noise detracted for the whole experience. We had to apologize to our guest. We may go back for lunch but not for dinner."

"Great food, great menu, always interesting daily specials. Wait staff is warm and welcoming and knows the menu, wine list and beer selections, and can make informed recommendations. A bit noisy, but if you ask to be seated away from the bar it is possible to have a conversation. Oh, and their burgers are fabulous... as is their roasted veal marrow. Parking can be a problem."

"The food was delicious comfort food with a twist. For example, my French onion soup had truffles in it. The portions are large. The seasoned fries were very good. Parking is tough in that neighborhood."

"another satisfying visit to McCrossen's, this time fairly late on a Saturday night. Nice greeting, friendly service, excellent food. Wine by the glass arrived room temperature. Bartender then chilled the bottles and sent out replacements, at proper temperature."

"Great food in an unpretentious, yet cozy setting. We were seated near the fireplace which was welcoming on a chilly evening. We shared the clam appetizer and requested more bread to soak up the phenomenal broth. Our waitress was well versed on the wine list and also attentive. We will definitely return."
