Seafood was excellent! Menu was extensive. Service and presentation also excellent. Location in lower downtown Denver - just north of Larimer Square - is convenient with many public parking lots nearby. My party of three tried the seared scallops, Rockfish and grilled Swordfish. All were excellent. The wine and beer list was sufficient and affordable. Deserts were decadent. Highly recommend this establishment for fresh seafood.

Had dined here before with family as a visitor to Denver, so knew of its reputation and quality of food and service. The 11/09/14 dinner was a veteran's event as well as a birthday celebration. Server Jason was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was very good. Bartenders in the bar across the hall were friendly and professional as we waited for our table in the main dining room. Will go back again.

As a Vietnam veteran who received mostly derision for fighting in a very unpopular war many thanks to McCormick & Schmidt's. Another Vietnam veteran, two WW II vets and I enjoyed a great meal and service last Sunday night. Since returning from Vietnam nearly 45 years ago I have received precious little thanks or even a welcome back. So I sincerely appreciate M&S for their hospitality and thanks. They can never know how much it means to me. I'm glad to see this country give thanks and appreciation to their vets again. Unless you have served you can never understand nor miss those that didn't return enough. Bravo M&S. I'll be back!

We went for the vets dinner offer and birthday. We were seated at a table where the top was barely on the legs. You would not be able to cut your food without it almost tipping over. Asked to be moved and told the waiter why. Later we noticed that they were still seating perople at this table the table should not have been used until repaired. There were other open tables so they didn't have to use this one. Food was wonderful.

After we had a great meal and exceptional service, up to that point, we paid our bill including an approximately 23% tip. We were just about to leave when we remembered we had forgotten to give our server our Landry's memberships card. We got his attention with the intent of having our purchase applied to it. At that point our server was not willing to honor our request and suggested we save our receipt and go to the Landry's website and enter the information. Well we attempted to apply our purchase on the website but were not allowed to as they won't honor purchases after the point of service. Had our server complied with our request I wouldn't be writing this now. Our reply would have been the first sentence minus the after and to this point.

We have dined with them on many occassions in the past. Each entree was very good as was expected. The service was efficient but cold. My wife ordered the chopped salad with blue cheese and bacon. When it came we noted that it was chopped ice berg lettuce with some bacon and very little blue cheese. We requested that our waiter bring her more. This he did by sliding a small dish of blue cheese across the table as he hurried by. This left us with the impression that we were becoming a bother. Also beware that the valet parking is available -- at a cost of $12.

I have been to several McCormick's and been delighted with the service. 6 minutes for server to show up. Another five minutes for water. Another 5 minutes for drinks. Cocktail was wrong and had to be remade. Servers just seem to disappear for the whole dining room. We were planning on spending about $200 to $250 on drinks, appetizers and desert. It would have taken 3.5 to 4 hours. We gave up and only spent $100. Hopefully the general manager starts training the staff because this store was not busy while their competitors were packed at 7 PM on a Saturday night!

Enjoyed dining at McCormick's Fish House. If you're looking for a classy seafood restaurant that offers a range of culinary choices, this is it. Our server was very friendly and attentive yet not intrusive and we were fortunate to have a window seat that allowed us to "people watch" while we dined. We don't normally join restaurant "clubs" but Landry's Select Club is worth the one-time $25 charge as you get a $25 credit for just joining and you can use the credit towards any restaurant that falls under the Landry's restaurant umbrella (e.g. Chart House, Oceanaire, Claim Jumper). Needless to say, we are now club members!

We have been going to McCormick's Fish House for about 23 years. We have always enjoyed our experience there. Food and service has always been very good. However, out last experience was not very good. The food was okay but not to the level of the past. The real issue we had was with the drinks. The wine by the glass was very disappointing. The charge for a Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay was $15.00 and the amount of wine in the glass was absurdly little, much less than a normal wine by the glass at other restaurants. The mixed drinks were very weak, mostly just tonic water or soda. As they say, "it just wasn't what it used to be."
