The appetizers were fabulous, but my salmon was overcooked. The piped-in music was terrible and way too loud. We had to ask for it to be turned down. However, our waiter was fabulous. The door did not close properly behind them and usually remained open until someone from the restaurant closed and locked it again. We've been regulars here for over 10 years and have seen ups and downs. We weren't totally happy with the updated dinning room look...we're vintage lovers and still don't care for the more "modern" look. The food however was phenomenal. Wonderful food, setting, and staff. We attend every year for Easter Sunday. Besides Easter we regularly come to McCormicks for drinks after or before Rockies games, Sunday brunch, and occasionally dinner.
Never disappointed. Patio in the summer. Cruise room in the winter. They were out of the first bottle of wine we ordered so we ordered a different type. When the server returned the bottle was already open and performed an improper wine presentation (just filled both glasses without allowing me to sample and give my approval first). When the bill was delivered both bottles were still on the bill. Also took fifteen minutes for waitress to return so we had to give our check to a different server.
