  • Parking Details: Valet Parking is offered at the Oxford Hotel side 7 days a week for $10 per car. McCormick's will validate for dining room parties or bar patrons only, up to $3.00 off the valet cost. LoDo also has a wide variety of garage parking, surface lots, and metered parking.

Opened in 1933, the day after prohibition was repealed; it is the place in Denver to experience a classic martini in unforgettable surroundings.

  • "We went here on a casual 2nd date and had a nice time. We came in around 7 and had a couple of drinks while talking and then ordered food. The drinks were pretty normal, as expected, and the food was amazing. The waitress wasn't stopping by every 2 seconds which was nice but she was definitely there when she needed to be. Perfect timing. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and will be back."

  • "While the ambience has changed a bit (we liked the tall booths), the service is still the best in town with Jason manning our table! Food overall is just a tad less great than before Landry's owned it so I would suggest they work on that and serve the food hotter! The Kissing Schrimp is to die for! Seafood platter was a bit overcooked but flounder and rockfish were perfect. We were on the early side and the restaurant was definitely not full so I would suggest a bit of work in the kitchen is in order to maintain the high standards of the original McCormick's!"

  • "Comfortable Dinner in one of the booths. The room has lost its charm since the old booths were removed. Food was outstanding. Everyone in our party had a different seafood entree and all four plates were clean at the end of the meal. Split a desert, they are a nice size, and quite tasty,"

  • "Great food. They offered an excellent Restaraunt week menu with 5 choices of Entrees. I tasted the Bison and had smoked pork. Both excellent tasting, visually well presented, and hot. Mixed green salad was fresh and tasty, No room for the cake which I took home. Service was attentive, with adequate time to enjoy all four courses. Some have reservations as they are owned by a big company, found no reason to agree. Restaraunt has unique feel. Will go there again. When you go Park across the street in underground garage for $5, as opposed to paying $20 for unattended lots on the corner."

  • "2 couples went as part of Denver restaurant week. The food was good but the service was horrible. I understand it was busy but when plates come out hot and the food is just warm it tells me they were sitting under a heat lamp. We ordered a appetizer of steamed clams and Mussels. After they were finished them we sat at our table for 20 minutes with empty water glasses and empty shells. Someone at out table had to start piling the dirty dishes as a hint. Finally some one came and cleared them and brought out our salads. We went to other restaurants over the past years during restaurant week that were actually fine dining and enjoyed the service and meals much better. Very disappointed. If you can't do it right...."

  • "wow never thought i would give any restaurant a bad review first time ever. Went in had reservation for 7:30 pm was told the wait time was 30 min or more to dine in the main dinning area we choose to dine in the bar area instead of waiting . Big mistake waited 20 min to get a refill on our waters i finally went to the bar and got the refill myself. Felt ignored by your wait staff. The 5280 menu was not worth the $30.00 each person had to pay. Best part of the meal was the mashed potato's and desert. The bread was even cold when brought to us."

  • "Another wonderful evening at Mc Cormick's. Oysters on the half shell were a very flavorful starter. The accompanying cocktails were mixed exactly as ordered. The menu for restaurant week had great options and the pork was tender and very good. No meal is complete without dessert and the chocolate cake was the perfect ending to the meal. For restaurant week, birthday, anniversary, or any occasion McCormick's should be on the short list of restaurant choices!"

  • "We booked this restaurant for 5280 week only because I wanted to go to a place we had never been to and I was so pleased with the whole experience. They had a great selection on the menu, the food was great, the staff were very professional, there was a big bar as well that had a large variety of drinks. I would recommend this place and would definitely return."

  • "We were quickly sat at a window table and forgotten. I'd estimate it took at least 10 minutes if not 20 to first get noticed. Once noticed a drink order was taken, but water was still not filled, we had to ask again for it throughout the meal to have more water. We had to ask for some bread on the table. Our waitress was horrible, and appeared to have never been trained. Food was good, but this was our last time going to McCormick's as this is not the first time service was less than adequate."

I was disappointed with the calamarie, too big rings and chewy, and my lobster cobb I would have rather had with different lettuce as it was watery. We decided to eat off the menu, and so paid too much for our night out. We love McCormicks though, lively and music wonderful. There special menu was also great and should have stuck to that."

  • "Huge disappointment. Returned to what was once a special place for us after some years of absence living out of town. Our past wonderful memories were tarnished by lackluster food and rote service. The Chef's Special I ordered was uninteresting and ingredients were either overcooked or undercooked. The server had no sensitivity to what was happening at the table. Bread arrived after the salad. Wine for dinner arrived after entrees served (had to ask). Plates not removed as needed. Coffee after was weak; no ready refills etc. We will not return or recommend the restaurant. What happened?"

My husband's steak was ordered "medium rare" but was cooked to medium and returned to the kitchen for a "re-do" while I finished my dinner. His steak came back when I was through eating which killed the mood and any ambiance left. Our meal was compted but not sure I would go back at this point... A great cook is everything - and can make or break any restaurant."

  • "My fiancée has a severe onion family allergy so we are somewhat limited in what we can order. She does have a love for lobster, so we share a 2 lb when we can. Mand S only had one and a half till the manager came over and said if we can wait a few minutes he would go over to sister restaurant, Morton's, to pick up a 2 lb er!! Staff was very accommodating with appetizer and sides so we were able to have a complete meal. Hats off to serving staff and kitchen"

  • "Maybe because it was Valentine's night, but our meal was just OK. Our server was very nice but the food was just OK. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing to recommend it either. Based on this meal relative to the price, we'll probably not go back. Many too many great restaurants in the LoDo and Highlands areas of Denver to bother to come back. Too bad, there is something inherently romantic about going to a restaurant on the ground floor of a quality long-lived hotel in downtown."

  • "May wife and I love dining at McCormicks. On Valentine's Day we had our unusual fine time. The menu, the waitstaff, and the meal and drinks were all pleasing. The music selections was nice but a little to loud, and it was turned down at our request, but only to come back on at the same volume again five or minutes later. The only meal question I had is about swordfish. I thought my wife's swordfish was on the dry and overcooked side, but maybe that is the nature of this fish?"

  • "Top-notch restaurant with high ceiling and plenty of wood for an elegant ambiance. Excellent, savvy servers are there when you want them, not intrusive or hovering. Broad selection of fresh fish and ample choices for those inclined toward beef. Parmesan-crusted flounder consisted of a pair of superb fillets; sirloin was cooked to perfection. Recommend the red pepper white cheddar mash side to accompany beef. Long wine list made deciding a challenge ( a good thing!) and the upside-down walnut apple pie topped with cinnamon ice cream proved a delicious finish to a very pleasant dinner on Valentine's Day."

  • ".I had made a reservation well ahead for McCormick's on Valentine's Day. One of the best parts of McCormicks is the dining room with its New England flavor. We were put at a table behind the bar not in the dining room. Missed the ambience and it was very noisy as the bar noise carried over. If this was the table we were to get I think it would have been good to mention when we made the reservation. I am a long time McCormick's fan with many dinners there. This one was a disappointment."

Our waiter did a great job taking care of us and the food was excellent! The one thing that took away from the evening was the location of our table which was close to the hostess area so there was alot of traffic and noise nearby. Otherwise a great experience!"

  • "I took my wife and sister in law to McCormick's Fish House on Saturday to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. Our table was very comfortable and the lighting made the ambience very relaxing. There were four people in our party and we all ordered different things. One of the items I would recommend are the mussels. They are very fresh and come in a spicy butter sauce. Not a drop was left when the bowl was cleared from the table. The only disappointment was that they did little to acknowledge the birthday celebration. They knew that we were celebrating one and it would have been to nice to give that person a glass of wine or appetizer. Overall, it was a great evening."
