Our recent lunch at McCormick's Fish House was fabulous. The service was excellent. We both had the Northwest Salmon Sauté'. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the asparagus and mushrooms were just right. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary so the quiet setting felt like it was just the two of us enjoying each other's company. We had a wonderful time.

waited at least 5 minutes in an empty restaurant for acknowledgement and seating. We were offered a lousy table before asking for a better one. We tried two wines and then the server reused the glass we had both taken a drink from. We got bread and asked for olive oil. A vinegar and olive oil cruet set came that was totally greasy and there was hardly any olive oil in it. We needed new forks and knives after our salads and they were placed on the table and not in the proper place on the placemat --just bad training. The food was so mediocre. Shrimp and pasta dish with lukewarm. The fish and vegetable dish was runny and tasteless. There was continual banging noise coming from the kitchen that was both distracting and annoying. We will never come back to a place that used to be our favorite haunt. But now that it's own by Landry's, it doesn't bear any resemblance to the McCormicks of the past.

We went for the early bird dinner at 3 PM. Service was a little slow as our server did arrive for 15 minutes. The greeter tried to help us in the meantime. The food, however, made up for it. Pathetic choices we made were excellent and we really enjoyed the cuisine.

Great gathering place for vets when McCormick's offered discounted meals on Vet's Day. Food was great (per usual), service outstanding (said they were proud to work that day), and an outstanding atmosphere for talking, watching sports (in the bar area) or just enjoy every bite.

This restaurant used to be a favorite but our dinners were disappointing. The planked salmon was dry and the steamed vegetables lacked flavor. The steelhead was hot and moist but the accompaning mashed potatoes and vegetables were cool and tastelsss. The noise level was very high! The waiter was helpful but nothing could compensate for the poor food. Sorry to say, except for the piece of steelhead, our dinners were totally blah. There are not many seafood restaurants in the area so we may try it again - for lunch, maybe.

There is no question, I sincerely appreciate their recognition of veterans. The trouble is the staff still added a charge for the veterans meal on the ticket and we had to inform them of that. Why? I feel as though they were attempting to take advantage of us. At this point I choose not to go back any McCormicks again.

Good service. Good food. Due to the intent of serving as many vets as possible, it was easy to sense a rush - "get them in/out as fast as possible" Seating was close. It was like participating in the event at surrounding tables when one was intending on a quiet meal with their spouse. Intention to recognize events much appreciated.

We often come here for happy hour. It was good to see the dining food is just as good as the happy hour food, even if it's a little on the expensive side. Any of their clam dishes are worth trying, as well as their soups. The portion sizes are average. The service is always a little lacking compared to the quality of the restaurant, yet we continue to return. Management has always responded very quickly with a phone call whenever I post a lackluster review.

The meal was great but service was very slow, both wait staff and getting our meal. It was very crowded and there was a long waiting line by the time we left. All probably because of the free meal for veteran's. Since I am a veteran and was there for the dinner, I shouldn't complain but I didn't expect service this slow.

I like this restaurant, but when it is busy the parking kind of leaves you wondering if you should go in or not. You should. You will find pleasant wait staff. The service is quicker than I expected being every table in there was full. The prices are just a little high side, but I got good service.

If you are looking for that special place for Sunday dining McCormick's Beaverton is the place for you! And this past Sunday they were also honoring veterans who received free meals which was really great! The atmosphere is relaxed and I always feel welcomed. The staff, from the greeters to the servers and especially management, are just super. And I can't say enough about the quality of the food. The service is quick but you are never rushed. My wife and I went out for an early Friday evening meal. I had the grilled ling cod from the regular menu with the arugula and roasted beet salad. My wife had the Northwest Salmon Saute off the early bird menu. Both were excellent but she was especially pleased with her saute. The flavors went together well and the portion was amble so we shared for dinner the next night. The service was excellent and informative without being intrusive.

Celebrated my wife's birthday recently, and she chose McCormick's Fish House. We have dined there a few times before, but never for a special occasion. The atmosphere is moderately quiet, the only noise being fellow diners and the normal sounds you would encounter in a good restaurant. Our server (Shane) was outstanding! Knew from the start we were celebrating a birthday, made several excellent recommendations, and in general, was a very attentive server without being overbearing or clingy. The entree of filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and the side dish of gruyere potatoes complimented the steaks beautifully. Our desserts were the perfect ending to a delightful dining experience. Thank you, McCormick's!!

We choose this restaurant again and again not only because of the great service and food, but because if we are meeting friends for dinner (as we were this time), the atmosphere is so good for visiting and enjoying the company of our friends. We are able to comfortably converse without raising our voices, as we have had to do in other restaurants. Thank you for helping to make this a special occasion.

Four of us just finished a 10 day golf trip to the NW. We ate at a different restaurant each night and we ate here on our last night.... We shouldn't have. They squeezed 4 big guys into a small booth, we were like sardines. They offered to move us but at that point we couldn't move to get out. The sockeye salmon was dry. I asked for it with rice.. got potatoes... when the rice came I was expecting some nice rice pilaf... got something bland, couldn't tell what it was... So during the meal we voted on the best and worst restaurants we went to. This place ended up dead last .... and it wasn't the cheapest. I'd never go there again.

Arrived at restaurant on time. Was seated at a table which couldn't even seat 2 people. Was then moved to a table in an open area next to a very large and loud group. This while the restaurant was only partially full and numerous tables for 2 were visibly available. We told the hostesses this was unacceptable and the response we received was "sorry about that". Extremely unimpressed.

I was familiar with McCormick's from past experience and the fact that a close relative of mine had managed this place in the distant past. The service was outstanding. Our server, Shane, was attentive yet not overbearingly so. The food was incredible. I rate this establishment with 5 stars with no hesitation whatsoever. The personalized "Happy Birthday ........." menus were an added, and quite meaningful, big plus!

Every once in a while my husband and I get a hankering to go to McCormick's Fish House; my husband because he loves their Alaskan Razor Clams, which are huge and very well made, and me because although I am a vegetarian, I can always get a nicely-prepared meal and they don't give me a bad time about it. As usual, we had an excellent server (unfortunately I can't remember his name), who was very attentive and accommodating. The food was great, as usual, and we had a wonderful time. The noise level was a little loud as the evening progressed, but that was to be expected. We like the fact that this is not a place that you have to "dress up," although some people are a little too casual; but if McCormick's doesn't mind, then . . .

The meal we had early evening 17th August was the third occasion I have entertained family and friends at McCormick's to say 'thank you' to them for making our biennial visits to your area so welcoming, enjoyable and relaxing. We return to McCormick's each time for these celebrations as we, first and foremost, enjoy the food, the service is always good, the staff friendly, never intrusive and the booths give the feeling of privacy. All the members of the party enjoyed the dishes they had chosen, the cheesy potatoes went down, forgive the pun, particularly well on this occasion. As a Yorkshireman I found the chips/fries well up to standard.

My buddy and I dined in the Bar Area of the restaurant and were attended by the bartender,Tamara. Before ordering I enjoyed a great tasting made to order Tequila Bloody Mary. Although there were several fish selections and specials I opted for the fresh cut Carpaccio appetizer followed by a made to order very good Turkey Wrap served with a glass of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay. The food service and ambiance are conducive to having a fun lunch. The service Tamara provides is exemplary. Overall McCormicks' is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at when I visit the Beaverrton, Or area.

We went here specifically for the outdoor seating. It was fabulous and the food was fabulous! But the biggest thing that stuck out to me was the service. With outdoor dinner, you can sometimes be forgotten about by the waitstaff and your glass not only runs dry, but sits empty for an extended amount of time. This never happened to us. There was a dedicated server on the patio and plenty of help for him through our meal. I order the New York Strip Oscar style and it was mouth-watering delicious. Everyone else at my table ordered the Seafood Sampler and were very pleased as well. I highly recommend McCormick's and especially if you are looking for spot with great summer outdoor seating.
