She loved everything about this place especially the crab cakes! I was a little skeptical about bringing my 3 year old son and my 5 year old daughter, but they were well behaved (thank God) and fit right in! It is a little pricier than we are used to, so we saved it for a special occasion. We were celebrating my husband's new job. We made our reservation the same day using Open Table and were seated as soon as we arrived. Love the valet parking option, especially since it was rainy weather! Our server Johnny was fantastic. We had a nice relaxed experience. The food was excellent including our raw oysters, my salad and the not-to-be-missed lobster bisque! Our entrees were all top notch too. Dessert was okay, but certainly wasn't a deal breaker. Perhaps the best I've ever had. My wife had the tilapia. She was at first surprised a bit by the spiciness, but then enjoyed it tremendously once she got over the initial "shock" of normally mild tilapia being so lively. Both dishes were outstanding. And the waitress was equally so. Attentive, but not bothersome. Friendly but not too much. The service is always very good to excellent, and the food is very good and is delivered on time and perfectly done. Great selection of seafood (other if you want, too) and it's well-prepared. Atmosphere is changeable, which I like--at one moment it's a vibrant, energetic place, and the next, quiet and relaxed. We had several questions and he took the time to patiently and thoroughly answer them all. Was very knowledgeable about the wine list as well. I ordered the Mahi Mahi" and the seasoning and garnishes were superb, but the portion was on the smaller side, and the fish was a tad dry. I have no doubt they would have re-fired one for me had I asked, but we were going to a show afterwards, so I didn't have time. The quality, preparation and presentation of every dish was outstanding. Great atmosphere and the type of service that make you feel like a value guest.
