"I had the swordfish which was the chefs special and it was great. The flavors mixed with the crab cake where phenomonial I could have done away with the crisp red potatoes and asparagus. You pay for the service you get."

"Excellent location within the city of Charlotte. Some of the best seafood and service we have experienced in a very long time. We enjoyed our dinner in a romantic booth and were able to relax without being rushed through the dinner. Overall an excellent experience."

"This was our second time patronizing this location. (Prior to a concert later that night.) We opted out of an appetizer, but enjoyed the Caesar salad and the Walnut Salad with gorgonzola. Both were very good. My husband had the Mahi Mahi for his entree. He said it was good, but he had hoped for red snapper being on the menu, which it wasn't. I had the crab and shrimp-stuffed salmon, and I thought it was wonderful. We each had a glass of wine, but opted out of dessert."

"M&S is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. However, the choice of music blaring through the speakers was more like a low end bar scene. What a wonderful difference it would have made to have some soft background music playing. So much more relaxing and enjoyable. I doubt there was anyone there when we were who wouldn't have agreed. The bar was barren."

"Went for a date night. Sat at the table for 10 minutes with no service. Place was empty. Servers and hostess seemed to be more interested in themselves. Left and went to Ruth Chris for a great night."
