Wonderful dining experience! The wait staff was excellent; our waitress anticipated what we needed before we even asked! The managers actually came by to introduce themselves, and most importantly the food was excellent. We both ordered lettuce wedge salads and could have stopped there because the complimentary bread basket and yummy salads were so ample and satisfying. I had the tilapia and my husband had the boulibaise. Both were absolutely delicious; cooked and seasoned to perfection. For dessert, we shared upside-down apple pie. It was the best dessert I have ever had!

My husband and I had lunch here recently. The food and service were good. I had the stuffed salmon and a chopped salad. My husband had the stuffed shrimp and chopped salad. Entree portions were small and $20 or more apiece and the salad was a few dollars. They have a gluten-free menu. It was a nice lunch. Will return.

M&S used to be the top high seafood restaurant and the only thing left of that is the attractive decor. The service was disappointing on a really slow night. We reserved a table for two and were seated at a table set for four and they reset the table after we were seated. That's fine at Applebee's but on a slow night at a high end restaurant service should be top notch. The server was abrupt and clumsy. Banging plates on the table, knocking plates into glasses. Not pleasant. Salmon was undercooked after guest requested it well cooked and flaky. Mixed grill entree was swimming in thick butter sauce.

Although I prefer Morton or Ruth's over McCormick & Schmick it is still a good place to go for very good food and to enjoy a nice atmosphere. I had Filet and my wife had Tilapia and both were very good.

When people are allowed to have pets in the restaurant patio area sitting on the furniture, it's not far from McDonalds. Very disappointed in this restaurant. Ever since the Landy's folks acquired M&S, the quality has been degraded significantly. Won't return to this restaurant.

I enjoyed taking my husband and our extended families to lunch to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The service was very good and there was a good kid's menu as well as an extensive lunch menu. While I found some of the the lunch entrees a little expensive, the quality was good.

Typically , we enjoy dining at McCormick and Schmick's but this time was definitely off. I was a little concerned when we arrived on a Saturday night at 7:30 and the restaurant was almost empty. Our service was not great. Our table kept running out of tea, and water. when the food finally came out most of it was cold. The waiter seemed to be spread too thin to wait on his tables and with the restaurant being so empty , I can't imagine what took so long to get our food. We had a party of six, all on one bill, so it not a cheap bill to say the least. We will not be returning to the restaurant anytime in the near future. I will not be surprised if the restaurant closes.

We had an excellent meal - walnut greens salad, fried shrimp, the steak and lobster tail special, and chocolate cake. The service was exceptional from the time we entered until we walked out. We took a chance and returned after a terrible experience earlier in the summer. Thank you Amy, supporting wait staff and the chef. Glad we returned!

Our first visit to McCormick & Schmick's and not disappointed! The menu offers something up for everyone (including non-seafood dishes), & we were really liked the patio setting (so did our doggies). I enjoyed the deliciously prepared Parmesan crusted Flounder with a side of Butternut squash orzo & husband enjoyed the Salmon with an interesting coating, perfectly prepared. We agreed that Salmon being such a flavorful fish to begin with should have just been ordered pan seared or broiled, it didn't need the coating on top (which is easily removable should you decide that). Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and we do plan to return.

This was a very pleasant lunch and my crispy fish tacos were delicious-- served with a cilantro ranch sauce which I enjoyed. I thought the corn and bean salad was fine- not extraordinary- but it was a nice complement. Service was professional and efficient- the atmosphere cool, dark and appealing.

The food and ambiance was nice. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. There were some nice touches, happy anniversary printed on our menus and a dessert without charge. However, for the amount I paid there was not enough food. The crab tower was not seasoned. I expected more. Was good but not great.

Arrived on time and hostess showed us to a table even though I requested a booth. She then took us to a booth. We both ordered the shrimp trilogy . The shrimp weren't much larger than salad shrimp. The fried shrimp were butterflied to make them seem bigger, the stuffed shrimp were so small that the stuffing sat on top. We still don't know what the stuffing was made of. The shrimp scampi had no flavor, they should try adding some garlic. For $26 a plate, this meal was greatly overpriced.

Dined during restaurant week so we expected delays but was pleasantly surprised. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waiter Stephen. Stephen was a gem and treated us like we were the only ones in the restaurant. One complaint though was the special.menu for restaurant week. It was not verun appealing as most of our group ordered off the main.menu. We have been to many different restaurants in Charlotte during Queensfeast and this was the first menu we were disappointed with. But Stephen and the food saved our night out. When we return, we will make sure we get Stephen, even if we have to wait.

My husband and I visited the other night for our first time. We were extremely disappointed and will not go back. I had ordered their a special: 6oz steak topped with crab, with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. $35 for the plate. The steak was okay but very bland with little flavor. I've have better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. It was challenging to even find the crab meat, so little was put on it. Over all with both our meals we did not feel they were worth the price. Pretty disappointed.

We went for the restaurant week special menu and felt as though the value was really not good. This was our first time at this restaurant and we decided if we went back it would be to try the lunch menu. It was not busy at all while we were there (from 6:15 PM to 8:00 PM). We did enjoy the bourbon glazed salmon (my husband felt the portion was very small for the price) but just felt it was too expensive for the offering compared to other restaurants.

I've eaten at numerous M&S restaurants around the country and have always found them to be reliably good, if not excellent. The M&S at Southpark is not worth your money or time. I had booked for a party of 10 for restaurant week, which I knew could be risky. I thought it might be crowded and we might not get the kind of service I'm used to M&S. However, it wasn't crowded. It was even on the slow side, but the service was terrible. We waited for an hour before getting our salads. Our entrees (off the restaurant week menu) were not very good. The beef medallions were tough. The servings of the salmon were generally small. The mashed potatoes were cold. We had to wait a long time for dessert. My advice is, don't go to this M&S.
