"Over all experience was acceptable though the waiter was awkward and a little annoying. The food was ok not the best. I had the cashew crusted tilapia which was greasy and not very flavorful. My friend had the ribeye and was by the amount of fat. Not my first time dining here. Have had good service and food on other occasions."

"Easter arrived in Limo only to discover Limo driver could not park in front of restaurant and had to drive around waiting.Our order was taken and hour after we sat down. The food was not good. The seasonal fruit was not ripe it was hard with no flavor. The celery served in Bloody Mary was wilted and rubbery. When I asked to speak to the manager the woman in charge said she had no authority to reverse the bill.Said I could call the following morning to speak with the general manager which I did. The outcome was not what I expected. I don't mind paying a lot of money for dinner if the service,food,atmosphere together are all there. None of my expectations were met and unfortunately I will never return to dine there again."

"My husband and I spent our anniversary dinner at the Sacramento McCormick & Schmick's. It was a very nice evening and our server Chris was great!
We would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just a nice dining experience anytime!"

"The downtown Sacramento location for McCormick & Schmick's is gorgeous in a old building that just reeks history. I love it. The food was excellent, and our server was top notch. We had a wonderful dining experience."

"As an overall experience McCormick and Schmicks feels more Hungry hunter or Applepbys than a fine restaurant. Nice decor but immediately upon entrance the greeter bustles you to a table without a hello. We were immediately given menus and asked if we needed more time (yeah), we said yes and then never saw a waiter again for 15 minute. After ordering appetizers arrived almost too quickly were adequate, and once finished the plates then sat on our table for 30 minutes until I had to bus them my self and hand them to a passing kitchen hand. Food finally arrived and it had that distinctly industrial kitchen taste your expect from Appleby's Dennys, Hungry Hunter. Adequate, but very ordinary and certainly not what I expect for the price."

"Very disappointed in the changes made since new management took over. The Ten for Ten lunch specials are no longer part of the menu, the selections were significantly less, the price increased, and service was very slow. In the past, you could easily get a nice lunch (with variety from fish to sandwiches to buger)rather quickly - it was great to go to a nice restaurant, get good food at a fair price in a very timely manner (less than an hour)."
