The service was very slow, we had to ask for our bread to be replenished, I ordered a glass of wine the waiter walked past our table put an empty glass down on the table and 5-7 minutes later someone else came over collected the empty glass and placed my wine down. I ordered the Ultimate Grill, the portions were very small, the salmon and scallops were raw in the middle. When I brought this to the waiters attention he said he was going to take the salmon and scallops off my plate and bring those to the kitchen to be cooked a little longer, I gave him my entire plate as opposed to him removing pieces of my dinner and taking them back to the kitchen. They did not offer any accommodation for the under cooked food or inconvenience.

This is a chain restaurant and it shows in the food. Our dinner was just OK, but expensive for what we received. The service was good and our waiter felt bad that the bar was taking so long and our drinks took 15 minutes to come out so he did comp us a dessert which was nice. Not a bad choice of restaurant if you are in the Rosemont area.

Ordered Fish, I think it was Blue Marlin, reminded me of frozen fish from Costco. Little flavor and dry, and unseasoned. Ordered a bone in rib eye, it was much better than the fish. It was a very uninspired meal. Service was spotty, waiter told me "if you order your Martini Up, they do not use vermouth, a martini only has vermouth when ordered on the rocks"...I have had a lot of martini's, this was new to me..

Sat in one of the booths, which was romantic and private. Mark, our server, was outstanding; made us feel like we already knew him and that he was there just for us.The oysters, crabcake and shrimp cocktail appetizers (I was starving!!) were all fantastic, the main course; a large Filet Mignon with a Lobster Tail thrown in (TOLD you I was hungry!), along with asparagus and gruyere (SP?) potatoes, were absolutely fabulous!!! Like Arnold says; "I'll be BACK!"

If you are looking for fine food, excellent service, and great ambiance check out McCormick & Schmick's. I recommend the Blackened Mahi Mahi or the Filet Mignon with a wedge salad. The booths are comfortable and allow for private conversations.

It was our first time dining here and we were with another couple. The food was outstanding. Both my boyfriend and one of our friends had the prime rib and lobster tail. I had the stuffed salmon and our other friend had the scallops. No one took food home that night, we were all just floored with how delicious everything was. For an appetizer, I would also have to recommend the Shrimp Bliss, they are wrapped in bacon and are also very good. We would diffinetly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again.

I was a little surprised at how dead the restaurant was at 7pm on a Saturday. Even though it was dead, we still saw our waitress 4 times, including ordering, the entire hour and a half. I had to keep bugging other waitresses for a request. The food wasn't much special to my surprise, but I guess that can be contributed to living in the Midwest. Next time either Capital Grill or Gibsons for us. It seems we get more bang for our buck at those places.

Hi, I found this place to be exceptional, both in ambience (upscale but not fussy) and in service (our party staggered in and they accommodated nicely). The food was great, and I think priced appropriately for the quality. The calamari appetizer had some nice surprises -- some crispy artichoke hearts, peppers and lemon rind. My lobster cobb was great, if a bit overdressed. My companions loved their salmon with orzo and mussels, respectively. Bread was nothing special. We didn't have dessert. We are considering making this our office lunch spot.

We had never been to McCormick's (we were visiting from out of state)..were very disappointed. Entered the restaurant to see several tables that had not been bussed. Took a while before we were even acknowledged. Service was very slow. Food only average, not outstanding. I had ordered blue marlin, and the piece of fish that arrived on the plate was very tiny.(this was dinner) Also did not receive an item that was ordered, rather, received a similar item. We were already so disappointed, we decided not to even mention the error in the order. We have no plans to return to this chain on future travels.

We started with an appetizer Carpaccio and it was perfection on a plate! We each had different items and Filet Mignon was cooked perfection. The Mahi Mahi was wonderful! The Sirloin was cooked just right! We ordered the dessert to share Double Crusted Apple Walnut Pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream drizzled with Carmel this was too die for! We will recommend this restaurants to all our friends and family!

Have gone here a couple of times for business lunch. Food is pretty good. Fresh fish you can't beat and not boring dishes. Good helpings (almost too much) and good variety. The servers all seem burnt-out and don't want to deal with the patrons. Almost like it's a burden. I have only been her for lunches, and that was consistent. I understand that being a server can be a thankless job, but it really was almost disruptive to our lunch. I think if they fix that burnt-out feeling, this place would be 4 to 5 stars.

A very nice place but very small children should not be allowed after a certain hour. A child (3 years of age) tried to run out of the building, I caught her after she hit her head hard on the door. Staff did not seem too concern and the group she was with was not providing the proper supervision. The said aI save the day, but would not give me free drink, thought that was a concern, seeing how this little girl was headed out the door where cars were coming (valet parking area).

Just asked if we were ready to order? The food was good but for the price exceptional service is not on the menu. The place was not busy, we ate before the dinner crowd at 5:30 PM. PhDiner
    Dined on 5/8/2014
This restaurant is really nothing more than a glorified Red Lobster, but the attitudes of the staff would have you think otherwise. Our waiter acted as if he was doing us a favor by allowing us to dine as clearly we were not up to his standard. Drinks were not refilled, and plates were sat without any sort of acknowledgement or greeting. The waiter impatiently wanted to explain the menu and then became agitated at an off menu request. He did give us the most through definition of lobster bisque and explained how much it cost. Apparently he thought two PhDs couldn't read. Thankfully, the food was quite good.
