The waiter was knowledable and offered suggestions. He answered any questions we had and discussed the specials of the day.
We went on Mothers Day and was given a sample of their truffles. Out of sight.

The special spring offerings looked delightful and refreshing and we tried several of them as well as some of the tried and true entrees that I particularly liked. The service is always impeccable. The food is fresh, healthy and served appetizingly. The wine list is vast and not over-priced. It all worked out just fine.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA Go To Choice Before Carnegie HallWhen heading to Carnegie Hall this has been our go-to place for years. it consistently delivers and gives us a great experience before heading on with our night. While usually very good, this evening our meals arrived cold. The problem was taken care immediately and we will served a replacement meal within 10 minutes. Although some might look down at a "chain restaurant" I have had good experiences there and will continue to go. Standouts were the clam chowder- a cup was more than enough. Had cocktails at the bar and were escorted to our table right on time. Service was excellent and the food was superb. The only thing that was a bit off was the background music--it seemed a little strident for the decidedly older crowd; something more mellow would have enhanced the ambiance. Overall--an excellent dining experience.
