My only complaint (as a non-seafood eater) was the VERY limited options for things other than seafood. It is a SEAFOOD place...but, still -- I would have expected a few more options - at least a pasta and a few chicken items with no seafood. Also - no appetizer options for non-seafood, so they actuall.y lost out, as we would have all probably gotten an appetizer -- only the seafood lover in our group of 5 got the shrimp cocktail, the rest of us didn't get appetizers, as there weren't really options for us. Good assortment of daily and seasonal specials, well explained. The food was outstanding. We both had the daily dinner special (soup or salad, choice of 4 entree's, choice of 2 desserts); which, for $28.50 was very reasonably priced. The regular menu was quite pricey. The soup was a hearty chowder, and the salad was a generous portion of greens with a very vinegary dressing, walnuts, and blue cheese crumbles. I had the shrimp scampi with linguini (very garlicky, but yummy), and my partner had beef medallions with shrimp. Both were delicious and well presented. My friend celebrating 5oth b day was way too full for dessert. I think a very colorful cute cupcake or featured piece of pie for the honored guest to take home would make the dinner more memorable. The servers Troy, Corey and Kimberly are wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and show just the right amount of attentiveness. The food is expertly prepared by Chef Dan and his assistants. Nice waitstaff.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasantly SurprisedI read a lot of mediocre reviews but decided to try it out anyway and I was pleasantly surprised. The decor of the restaurant was top notch. The stain glass ceiling and dome shape were very cool. The place is partially separated into two different levels so each area has a private feel to it. The service was quick and courteous. I ordered the ultimate seafood platter which was decent but I'm a tough one to please when it comes to fresh seafood after living in both Japan and Italy. This location served a chocolate bag that was thicker and although still delicious, the thickness made it messier and more difficult to devour. Thankfully, I was dining with a good friend and neither of us minded being messy.
