My family and I wish to thank your company for your annual Veterans Day generosity and recognition. We always have great food and great service whenever we dine with you at your various locations (i.e., LA, Pasadena, prior Beverly Hills) for various occasions (i.e., birthdays, anniversary, etc.). Your hostess and wait staff are always warm, respectful, and welcoming. Thank you for being so dependable.

Food taste great. However service is so so, our server disappeared on us in the middle of the meal so can't even get refill for our drinks. She did not shown back up until we were done with our meal, by then our glasses were long been empty. When it came time to pay for our bill the manager won't give us discount with my AARP card. Customer service is very poor.

I entertained a large group and it seemed that the servers were a bit overwhelmed. Service was ok, and the food was ok. I have dined at McCormick & Schmick's in the past and I can honestly say that my party and I were disappointed. Our experience and meal under performed based on expectation. Everyone has an off day and this was an off day for McCormick & Schmick's.

We have dined at a number of restaurants in the area before attending the theatre. We keep coming back to McCormick and Schmick. They have a shuttle that takes you right to the Dorthy Chandler Pavillion so you don't have to mess with parking. Their menu offers something for everyone, too be they meat eater, light eater, seafood critic or vegetarian. Great service and plenty of choices of decor...private rooms, outside dining, great bar or a nice attractive dining room.

I was disappointed with My King Salmon dish, even though I selected the pricy wild salmon. It was dry and did not taste fresh. on the other hand, The scallops were very good. The side of spinach was bitter, however we were not charged for it.

We have been a customer here for many years. The food was as usual very good, but we are disappointed in the menu since the restaurant was purchased by Landry's. Menu is not what it used to be. Somewhat generic. I had a scallop entree and while is was delicious, it only had 4 medium sized scallops and some cauliflower, all for $30.00. Do I feel cheated, yes. Will I come back soon, probably not. The service was excellent as usual.

i have always loved this restaurant, because i love fish, and they don't overcook it. They have booths, and it's quiet, it's convenient downtown, and they are on the shuttle line to the opera or ballet or theater. However, do not let the TWIN parking valet, park your car. The last time we were there, they took 10-15 min to get our car, and took it for a test drive, and 'punched' it, to see how fast it would go. The mobile app showed us, and so did the computer inside the car. Not good.

We have been going to McCormick and Schmick's in downtown L.A. for close to 20 years. Until this latest visit all was quite well. This visit was a full fledged disaster. The waiter was totally incompetent, the food was served cold and served 45 minutes after ordering. The portions of food were significantly small versus all other times. The manager who offered to do our bill was incompetent and made several errors. This was a disaster from start to finish and it ended our tenure with this restaurant.

Our server was a long time taking our order. OK, we asked for a few more minutes when he asked the first time but then it was 20 minutes before he showed up again. I had the chef special which wasn't anything special. The fish didn't taste fresh to me and the whole thing was barely warm. Did they prepare it early and let it sit?? My husband was happy with his steak though. Our valet was great... and we did take the shuttle to the Walt Disney Concert Hall so left our car in his care. We gave him a good tip, the cost for parking was only $13.00.

We went here before theater. Husband got steak& shrimp - just ok. I ordered bouillabaisse - not good. It was a Texas version of a French dish reeking of red pepper and very oily! It is not the old McCormick & Shmicks quality anymore. Really disappointing. I heard they ( Landrys who bought the restaurant chain) also closed the Beverly Hills restaurant. Too bad! Quiet and easy place to sit and actually talk. Order some simple locally prepared food .

We come to this particular location frequently before a theater night. The food is always well prepared, beautifully served and the wine list has something for everyone. With a special event in downtown Los Angeles, some streets were blocked and traffic was congested. We shuttle back to the theater after dinner and the normal exit was not available. The staff went above and beyond, waiting outside with us to get us to our shuttle in order to get to our theatre on time after dinner. Brilliant. Well done. Thank you!

Staying in a hotel downtown and decided to give this location of the well-known restaurant a try. Service was outstanding with the manager coming by to welcome us. Whole staff seemed to really appreciate our business and very eager to please. Lobster salad was beautifully presented and a great value for the price. Generous amount of lobster and very fresh ingredients. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his mussels (said they were the perfect size so very tender) as well as his salad. Once we finished our main courses, our server told us to stay put as they were bringing us a free dessert. Comfortable surroundings with well-appointed dining room. Probably the nicest restaurant in the chain that I have had occasion to visit.

Our reservation was for 6:15p.m. and we were seated at that time. We selected that time due to an Ahmansohn Theatre event beginning at 8:00p.m. Our orders were taken in a reasonable amount of time, and the food arrived with plenty of time for us to enjoy our meal. Things became sketchy when we ordered dessert and an after dinner drink. The dessert (sliced fresh strawberries) took longer than we expected to arrive. The after dinner drink nearly caused us to arrive late at the Ahmansohn Theatre. Our first choice, it turns out, was sold out, but it took the waiter an inordinate amount of time to discover that fact and let us know. The initial delay forced us to speed walk up Hope Street to make it to the theatre in time.

This was my first time at the LA M&S being new to the area and a hug fan of the restaurant chain. Andre "Dre" our server was great, friendly and attentive. He made recommendations and suggestions based on his personal experience. . However, the food was not up to par compared to the other M&S's I frequent. My guest had the ribeye which had to be sent back twice. First it was over cooked, the second time the meat was too tought. However, I enjoyed the seabass even though I could not enjoy it as much as I would have like only as I waited until my guest entree was right.
