Food was good as in the past, overall happy with their menu and quality. This time specifically the service was very lacklaster, entree's got mixed up and serer seemed very unsure of menu items as we asked questions. Was either new or totally distracted... Never got a chance to pay the bill with our credit card, so had to leave cash as we were waiting forever for her to come back. Very different then last time i came, here, then service was superb.

We Ate both Chefs choice dishes. The salmon and swordfish were both cooked perfectly with fresh vegetables. Tithe clam chowder was very tasty with all the right spices. The server, Michael, was very thorough and had a pleasant personality. We would recommend if u r looking for a nice seafood dinner

The service was and food was poor. We were a party of 8. The steaks and fish over cooked. Service poor. Ordered wine which had to be reminded to open and serve after the entrees were served.

The restaurant service was wonderful, however, the meal was a mixed bag of terrific and mediocre. Our appetizer of "shrimp kisses" was unique and exceptional. One cocktail (bloody Mary) was outstanding while the other (rum and Coke) was watery. Desserts - bananas foster and a warm apple pie were also great...however, main entrees...we both got the beef medallions and lobster tail was a major disappointment. The lobster tail was over cooked, dry and "crunchy" while the beef was bland and tasteless. Accompanying fingerling potatoes were mixed - some cooked well and others were spongy. We'll go back, but the restaurant should really rethink this entree.

McCormick and Schmick never disappoints. They are a great restaurant that takes care with the food. I wish the wine serving were bigger, but it was nice and cold and I was still pleased. I was on a business dinner with some work colleagues and they all loved it as well.

Not all the "best" restaurants are on the Las Vegas Strip. Unless, perhaps, the "best" restaurants are those with unique offerings such as goose liver or bone marrow and quite expensive such that a cheeseburger costs $28. McCormick & Schmick's is located near but not on the Las Vegas Strip. It is quiet, and you can enjoy a romantic dinner or conversation with friends. The food is nicely prepared and flavorful. The service is very friendly and efficient.

Mew chef, there only 3 months. Salmon was served but swordfish had been ordered. Slight discussion with server who tried to convince me it was swordfish but finally confirmed the kitchen used the wrong fish and the swordfish was eventually brought. Although took the cost of the salmon off was slightly surprised not even an offer of dessert was made but still overall well cooked food and a nice atmosphere. Suggest dim lights by 7pm though. Makes for better ambiance for dinner service.

Upon arrival at 7:00 pm, the restaurant which was once a hot spot was now empty. Now I know why! The restaurant appearance was very nice since the remodel, the service very good but seemed robotic, and the food ok. Dessert was the highlight!! For the price, there are so many better choices. I won't be back.

We chose this restaurant as our destination meeting/dinner with old friends we had not seen for nearly 30 years. The location, ambiance, quality of the dinner, service, and above all the cordial atmosphere made it a memorable evening all the way around. We were sorry to have to leave. Thanks M&S's for facilitating and enhancing our evening.

One of the nicer McCormick & Schmicks I've visited, for ambiance and staff. Staff was very friendly and service was great, even with a large group being hosted in a banquet room at the same time. I really appreciated our waiters recommendations and candor on menu items. The bacon wrapped grilled shrimp appetizer (recommended) was delicious, but filling! Great evening overall.

Kudos to Bartender Steve who served us our Happy Hour food and drinks. Even though it was busy, he was attentive and personable and made us feel welcome. Also, Mary the hostess came over to check on us twice. Everyone so friendly. Great customer service. Food good too. Especially the Carpaccio, yum! Thanks Steve for the recommendation.

Ordered the crab cake appetizer and clam chowder which was excellent, however the steak and lobster special fell short. The steak medallions were cooked fine, however the sauce that was poured on them was very salty. The lobster tail was a little chewy and could have been better if the veiny skin on the back of it had been removed. Our server was excellent and the complimentary anniversary cake we were treated to was to die for!! This is the second anniversary that my husband and I have celebrated at McCormick and Schmick's however I think we will try someplace different next year.

We went with friends to this restaurant even though when looking at ratings it was far up the list and there were other fish and seafood places with higher ratings, but it was close to our hotel. The mashed potatoes were far too salty and my King Salmon was a bit dry. Other diners had similar comments and I think there was a lobster cobb salad which was also too salty. The atmosphere is ok, quite a large restaurant in fact and the service by our waiter was fairly good although I felt he was pressuring a bit too much. In any event, the company was what made the evening and this is just not a spot I would return to.

The restaurant was not very busy at this time. The service from Tamarah was fantastic. We never had to ask for anything. We had Clam Chowder as an appetizer and it was very very good. Lots of clams and few vegetables. One member of the group had the Rainbow trout and said it was excellent. Myself and another in the group had the Parmesan crusted Tilapia. It was pan seared and was excellent as well. The menu is quite extensive and the pricing is very reasonable. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. Will be sure to return.

Went with a group of four friends, one of which had never had sea food, to the place that Foursquare recommended most. We were not disappointed as our server was attentive and had a good conversation, she even put up with two in our party who were a little loud. We ordered wine from Argentina, oysters and lobster soup which all came out at appropriate times. Our server ordered for our friend who had never eaten seafood; he was not disappointed. We ordered various seafood plates including grilled salmon, lobster tail, shrimp and grouper. Our bill came to $271.87 before a 20% gratuity we added, since we shared most of our food we just split the bill 4 ways and paid $80/each including tip.

Was especially impressed with the fact that the "seafood-steak" specialty restaurant gave enough thought to non-meat/fish eating patrons and had two (not one) skinless, boneless chicken dishes for my husband to choose from. We dont patronize many fine restaurants because they have only one "roast" chicken dish, if that, on their menus and he does not eat that. Very good planning for this fine restaurant and I am able to enjoy my lobster!! Megan was a very informative and helpful waitress.
