McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - Las VegasOne more time....We had to return to this restaurant for more of the great sole and it did not disappoint nor did the fried oysters or the mango and crab appetizer. The hostess is exceptionally nice and Bill, the waiter is terrific. We did miss the regular valet though a very nice man was in his place. Our server, Bill , did and outstanding job taking care of us, and the food was exceptional. Sometimes it has been better than other times, but this most recent visit was outstanding. I had the parmesan crusted sole and it was delicious. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Had a new waiter, Bill, and he is a recent addition to the staff - very positive. The valet is always a treat there to greet you and send you on your way. A really nice evening for us. The Margarita Pizza was very good as well with fresh tomatoes and fresh basil leaves. The Stuffed Shrimp were good but felt it that the shrimp had been previously frozen. Size of the shrimp were on the small side for this dish. Kids had chicken fingers which looked like breaded breast meat. Chocolate Lava Cake was outstanding for us chocoholics! Cocktails tasted great as they used quality ingredients in our Mojito's. We arrived to a half-empty dining room and as it filled later into our dinner, the noise level arose quite a bit around us where it was difficult to hear the person across the table from me.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMthis is a fun place to dinethis is a fun place to dine for a couple or a group. We arrived with a party of 9 and were seated immediately. The private table space was very nice and ideal for our group. Our waiter was excellent. His attentiveness was much appreciated. We have been at McCormick & Schmick before and felt food was excellent-sorry to say on this night it did not live up to that level. However, I would still give it another try. The food was great, the waiter was very good. Our complaint would be, who chooses the music. The people were mostly over 40, and the music was for a young crowd. However, it was not on the menu as they have substituted flounder for sole. I had ahi tuna instead. It was delicious and served just the way I prefer.
