We were seated promptly after arrival, however it took over twenty minutes for anyone to come to our table. Not sure why. We had to ask for a waiter. Everyone was apologetic about the delay and from that point on everything was great. The manager treated us to our appetizers due to the delay. After we told the manager that it was our anniversary he printed two menus with "Happy 18th anniversary Kathleen & Jerry." That topped our evening. The food was superb and the staff were very pleasant.

This was our second time at M&S. Everything is always cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is beautiful overall. Our main problem was the very large party sat next to us, very loud and free spirited. Definitely wish our reservation got us seats away from them.

We had dinner at McCormick & Schmick's. I had bouillabaisse. The seafood was plentiful and tasty, but the broth was very salty. My wife had scallops, which were tasty, but there were only four (more like lunch than dinner). The spinach that came with the scallops was so salty, she could not eat it.

At the facility only this feedback applies. I dealt with the banquet manager due to the large number in my party. There was a change in my date and time which I communicated through email multiple times. The banquet manager never made the adjustment, charged my card, left me a snarky message, and upon my returned call began to be very inflexible. That was until I sent her all of the correspondences between she and I and quickly her snarkyness gave way to utter confusion. Prior to me sending her all of the emails we had between she was not going to allow me to have my event. In addition she charged my credit card and promised that it would take 5-7 days for a reversal to happen - which I still haven't received 10 days later.

I visit Indy two times a year. In the past, I have always eaten at McCormick & Schmick's and enjoyed the food. This year; however, was a different experience. The lobster bisque was salty and the lobster was rubbery. Portion sizes were smaller and food presentation was poor. The cost of this disappointing meal was $60. On my future visits to Indy, I will avoid eating at McCormick & Schmick's.

Have been to McCormick and Schmick's many times for lunch meetings but never dinner until this weekend! It was my 2 year wedding anniversary and my husband had never been. He benefits from my lunches with me bring home leftovers! Our server Bryce and the staff went out there way to make the evening special. It ended with them printing out a menu that said Happy Anniversary! Fantastic food and service.

We had a reservation but had I wait for 10 mins before anyone ever showed up at the front desk. Then while being seated, by a younger waiter, what appeared to be a manager of some sort quizzed us on whether we really had. A reservation as he didn't want to give us the booth. After that delightful welcoming, each time we ordered something the waiter would disappear for 10 or 15 mins and then return to let us know they were out of what we ordered. Happened with our appetizer, our entree selection and my said of ash potatoes. How do you run out of potatoe(apparently the really hadn't as my wife's entree came out with them and so did the table next to us, they ordered long after we did. We also ordered a drink from that came out awful.

We visited this restaurant before a Monday night NFL game in our city. We were clearly fans (as were just about all of the other patrons) and I told our server at the outset that we were going to the game. We had 1.5 hours before the game started. It took almost a full hour from the time we ordered our food until it arrived. When it did, mine was cold (and I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be warm), and almost all of the other tables had already been bussed and re-set. The manager did stop by to apologize, but rather than actually offering anything to us, she just said "let me know if there's anything I can do." At that point, we had already paid and were on our way out the door.

I got the steak and shrimp, wife got shrimp trio. I ordered my steak medium/medium-rare. Came out very rare. Like still refrigerator temperature in the center (this wasn't a big deal) however the tuffness of the meat was unexpected for the cut. I let the waitress know (who took about 15 minutes to notice us seated and still didn't get our drink order correct) she made no offer to correct it. She did not check on us very often. She made it known that they had fired some cooks and thing were a bit crazy. Hint: NEVER tell a guest this! They wow'd us at devour downtown last year. We came back expecting that same excellence and was greatly disappointed. As a Landry's card member, this is one of few locations I won't go back to.

We chose this for our 30th Anniversary. We had seen from prior reviews that the service is somewhat slow. That proved to be the case - it took awhile to get our drinks and then a while longer to get bread. And them bam - the food came rather quickly. Like a moment or two after the bread. We weren't in a hurry so that was ok. It's a little noisy but not overwhelming. The ambiance was reasonably nice as it's a downtown spot one block from Monument Circle. My wife had the Shrimp Trilogy ($26.99) and I had the Salmon Pasta ($15.99) and we shared the creamed spinach ($7.99). The food was good and portions generous. The Spinach was plenty to split. I had a Grey Goose Martini ($13.00) that was average.

We have dined here previously and had great experiences. Sunday night was not one of those. Our order was served miserably late - only after we had requested to speak with the manager. Then our order came out promptly - but the steak was not cooked the way it had been ordered. My guess was that we got someone else's order who had not complained about the wait. This was unfortunate and uncharacteristic of our usual dining experience at M & S. Manager credited my steak and gave us a complimentary glass of wine, but it still left a bad taste in our mouths.

This was our third time eating here. Just like before, we had a wonderful time! The service was great and the food was awesome. Our only complaint would be the menu didn't have Mako shark again. But, we understand the menus change a lot. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. We both think the place is special!

Made reservations through open table for Devour Downtown August 2014 Indianapolis. Restaurant was clean, well-kept. After perusal of menu, decided to order from regular menu rather than special menu. Waiter was excellent. I liked that drinks were made from scratch--no premade mixes. The waiter described the lobster mashed potatoes and we ordered them. Another server delivered them to the table and we found them unremarkable. However, when the waiter saw them he knew something was terribly wrong. He whisked them away and quickly brought the right dish. They were wonderful. !! The manager stopped by and apologized for the mix up and took them off the bill. Good, efficient service. Fresh fish!!

I've eaten here before and had great food and service. This time I was disappointed. My tuna was over-cooked and my spouse's $40 "steak" turned out to be 4 quarter-sized well-done tenderloin slivers even though she had ordered medium rare. Certainly not what was depicted in the image they advertised. The rest of the Devour Downtown meal was quite good, and the gazpacho with crab was excellent.
