Our table was a private booth that was quite romantic but the ambiance was interrupted by loud patrons nearby that thankfully did not last. An ownership change was the explanation for the first two wine selection being unavailable. The waiter eventually brought two wines that were in stock and we chose a wine that turned out to be fine. We had a steak entree and a a fish special that were well prepared and enjoyable. The Shrimp Kisses were an excellent appetizer as was the crab tower and the lettuce wedge. And the best part was the reasonable prices. 2 complete entrees, appetizer, and 2 glasses of wine for fiht at a 100 bucks.....not bad for the quality of the food and the ambience! I had Shrimp and Andouille Sausage with Mac and Cheese. It was an inspired combination of pasta, a light cheese sauce packed with flavor and shrimp and sausage. I loved the lunch choices, the delicious food, and the courteous service. So when I needed to find a place in Atlantic City to take a friend to celebrate her birthday, I thought we would try M&S. It did not disappoint. I look forward to going again for lunch. The portion was enough for the great price. The lobster was the best I every tasted & the steak was done exactly the way I liked it. The cheddar potatoes that we had for a side were also excellent and the portion was more then enough for two. I enjoyed my walnut salad and it not being so oversaturated with oil.
The Bronzzini was quite meaty and tasty. The red sauce was not too my taste but was available. The veg’s steamy just right and crunchy.

We had the calamari and it was excellent, the crab cake was very good and we ordered lobster for our main dish and both of us loved every bite. We had an over-enthusiastic waiter (Donald), but a bit of a scatter-brain, and our dinner took much too long. Another table also complained to us about his service. He tried, but a 3hr. dinner is much too long. I still rated service high because the other servers there were extremely efficient (we had enough time with no food in front of us to watch all the goings on!). I wish restaurants would not discreminate against single people, my money is just as good as a couple.
The waitress was very good and any request I made about the menu she did fine.
The parmisan crusted flounder was super, amazing indeed.
There was a table near me with 8 men who got louder and louder as they drank.
The restaurant said they cannot do anything about the table of loudmouths.
But all an all it was a wonderful meal, highly recommend for any occasion.

My husband loves steak do we frequent many steakhouses and much to our surprise his ribeye was not exactly a top of the line ribeye. He was very disappointed. Now my lobster tails meal...AMAZING! But I couldn't give a 5 star rating because my husbands meal rating would have been a 3 and that was because he loved the cream spinach, potatoes, and our ice teas were delicious!! The waiter, Alex, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious and served hot, and managed to stay very warm through-out the meal. While the room was a-buzz with groups and couples, the over atmosphere was very positive and despite the "noise" our sitting area allowed us to carry on a conversation.
