  • "Have been to this restaurant many times. Have never been disappointed. I enjoyed the Lobster Tails; $50, but really worth it. My husband had fish, really great. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go again."

  • "my friends and I were having a high school gathering. we waited until the last minute to make reservations. mc cormick and schmicks was the only restaurant that was able to accomodate us. the food was spectacular as always. the service was incredible. especially considering it was a saturday night. atlantic city's hidden gem!"

  • "We started our night with dinner. We were met by a group of pleasant hostesses and taken right to our booth seated. Waited a few minutes for our server, but not too long. Mary, our server, was wonderful and suggested a very nice bottle of wine. My wife's almond crusted trout was awesome! My grilled red snapper was good, but not exciting. Coconut shrimp was very good, but could use a little more coconut; the marmalade was a great accompaniment."

  • "I was a little disappointed that they would not let me use a coupon printed from the internet. I was told it was for a different location and nothing of the sort was printed on the coupon."

  • "We were seated promptly since we had reservations but that was the only thing that was good about this restaurant. The waiter was very nice but it took 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar and the response was bar was backed up. When we finally received our drinks there was no beer glasses available. I never heard that there was not enough beer glasses. What kind of restaurant are you running? When we got our dinner and we had to ask for a plate? So we requested to speak to manager and she came over and never even offered to give us a discount on our meal. She gave us a beer, big deal we could have gotten a free beer in the casino since we were gambling. Manager stated she would do anything to accommodate us and no discount was offered."

  • "The food was great! My drink on the other hand was horrible. I ordered the sweet chilli Rita. It came out with a pick in it, no mention of that in the description. It tasted like garlic and pickle juice. I had maybe 4 sips and had to stop. Don't ordered it! But go for the food!"

  • "For the expense, not a very good value. I'm wiling to pay a premium, however I expect good food and great service. Overall, had high expectations based on reputation, perhaps too high, very disappointed."

  • "The food was very good but the portions were very small. $33.00 for 3 scallops! Our server was nice, polite and helpful with the menu. However, she was too busy to even ask us if we wanted a second drink."

  • "The family celebrated our parents 80th Birthday in Atlantic City and picked McCormick and Schmicks for dinner. Turned out to the highlight of the evening! Great time!"

  • "Service was beyond excellent both at the bar and at our table."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "The scallops were excellent! but both kinds of shrimp were really dry and the salmon portion was small. The only bread served was sourdough and you had to ask for that or they wouldn't bring it. Expected better for the price."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "Enjoyed dinner with friends. Restaurant was very good about a birthday dessert and our server could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Was not thrilled with 'broccolini' - bland with just butter."

  • "Everything was great. Our server, Laura, was superb. I will be coming back for seconds Phil Richman"

  • "Our party of 4 enjoyed the experience and everyone (but me) was extremely happy with their food. My fish was "fishy" and I was told that it was a good "mild" fish to order, but, perhaps it wasn't as fresh as it should have been. It wasn't terrible, just a huge disappointment, since I expected better. I always get a great meal here, but since it is rather pricey, my standards are high, and I expect a restaurant that specializes in good fish to serve a better quality fish. The rest of the meal was perfect, and as a whole, we enjoyed the evening."

  • "We wanted to try somewhere new... went for restaurant week... so probably should give it another shot... not really impressed. pricey... don't think we will hurry back..."
    Dined on 3/5/2014
  • "The food provided us from the restaurant week menu was terrible quality. The filet was four small pre-sliced pieces that were chewy and my knife could barely cut through it. Everything else served wasn't any better. When I spend way over a hundred dollars for a dinner bill, I expect good food. I would never go back again."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "The appetizer and dessert was very good. The portion on the Surf and Turf wad too small. Granted the price was only $33.00 but the should not have been offered. I went to 2 other Restaurants and this was the least favorite. Also I sent and participated in the Restaurants survey and rid not receive a reply. Will not go back."

  • "I did not expect the entire experience to be this good but it was terrific food. Started off with drinks which were not watered down for once, The four of us could actually taste the alcohol We started off with the best lobster bisque I have ever had. My husband loved the clams as well and our friends had the lump crab tower appetizer which they said was "awesome". We had the filet mignon and the lobster mashed potatoes for side dish. Our friends had shrimp and something callled the Sea Trail. We all cleaned our plates. Very tasty. Service was excellent.as well. We had a booth type table in a draped "cabana" type setting. Very, very nice. For once, we had no complaints and got out in time to see our show. Highly recommend."

  • "They Advertized that the restuarant was participating in Atlantic City Restaurant Week March 2nd to the 8th. when we arrived at McCormicks and Schmicks we were told by our server that the restaurant was not participating for the last night. We were misled by the restaurant advertising it was participating in Restaurant Week."

  • "Just a little over-rated. Good food but Doc's Oyster House is far superior"
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "My day out was great expect this restaurant. It was a nightmare. The service was almost none existing and the food was just average at best. Save you money and go some where else."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "The food was good. Our server seemed a little stressed and never came back to check on dinners after they were served. I think she was trying, but maybe had too many tables. I would go again"
    Dined on 3/6/2014
  • "Was completely taken by booking through Open Table which had advertised in AC Restaurant Week website. This was completely bogus since not all restaurants were participating on Saturday evening for AC Restaurant Week. When we arrived at McC & S, we were handed a regular menu. I said something to the server who then advised us that they do not participate on Saturday evening for restaurant week. I did not insist on seeing management since the server blamed Open Table for not alerting the consumer. I am very disappointed that Open Table did not warn or advise the person booking through the AC Restaurant Week website that some restaurants were not participating on Saturday evening."

  • "We went to McCormick and Shmicks because it's always been a convenient, solid meal. The service is usually good and the food is excellent. Fresh seafood and an amazing lobster bisque. We went here this time because it was restaurant week and hard to get a reservation at a different place for a change, so we celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, which is very consistent in everything. The best thing on the menu is the "special" salmon that they've had for over a year, but it should just be on the menu because of how good it is. Make sure you get it with the Asian Black Pepper sauce though"

  • "appetizer and dessert outstanding but the meal itself was diner food"
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "Both filets were over cooked and cold. The steak was bland and not much flavor, (due to overcooking?) I would not recommend this restaurant. Spend your 100+ dollars on a good steak somewhere else"
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "Very disappointed in the overall experience , of such a highly recommended restaurant. - When asked for glasses of ice water, it arrived barely cold. When asked for ice for the water, it never arrived. - While conversing, my dining companion was interrupted FOUR times by wait staff, asking to remove her plate. She repeatedly stated that she was not finished with her food. - Although we went during a special "restaurant week" event, there was only one dessert available, and no other substitution was offered. . We did not want mixed, warm fruit, in a a syrupy liquid. One of the reasons that we chose this restaurant was for the Creme Brulee, which we love. We were told that they ran out of it the day before!"
    Dined on 3/5/2014
  • "The food choice was not a good selection for their menu. The food was fair. Even with restaurant week prices and a drink plus tip, the bill was $120 per couple. There are a lot of non casino restaurants where you can fine dine for that."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "I ordered the steak and lobster. .. the steak was very tough and rubbery, also it only was accompanied by a half piece, half cooked tomato which was not good at all. For this to be a well spoken of restaurant, I was very disappointed. I could've went to a cheaper restaurant and received food that was more pleasing to the eye and much mire tasteful. I will not be returning to this restaurant."

  • "My husband and I had the steak and lobster it was amazing, we can't wait to go back! The wine list is very nice and the atmosphere was great too!"
