The wait staff was very attentive, the food was excellent, and they got us out in time to see the first puck drop. She is a very timid person so when our server asked her if she wanted to replace it with what she'd ordered she said 'no'.
I felt so bad. This was our only special seafood dinner on the East Coast before returning to Colorado. She is elderly so this was to be her last trip. She had anticipated this seafood dinner since she booked her flight months ago. She had taken several minutes to pick what was just right for her memories/trip. Then the kitchen prepared the Stuffed Shrimp instead of the Salmon she wanted.
She was disappointed I could tell. Our server was great, wonderful seating/ambience/fast & responsive. I had the almond crusted trout and my husband had the shrimp scampi. Both were excellent. This is a very busy restaurant, but the staff was up to the challenge. Maybe in Oregon where the M & S HQ is takes us for granted and doesn't try anymore.
