My wife and I have visited many McCormick and Schmick restaurants from our various living locations over the years. We have always liked them but have not visited one since we moved to Colorado in 2010. We visited the location in the Denver Tech Center for a 50th Birthday dinner for my wife. We had our little one with us (4 years old). The staff was very nice. It was Sunday evening, early, so there was not much going on in the restaurant. Everyone was very helpful but the common courtesies were not there. For example. I did not mention in our reservation that it was my wife's 50th but we did make mention of it several times during the dinner as my 4 year old son kept talking about the "birthday dinner". No staff member even said "Happy birthday" to my wife. Although our server was very nice and polite, I was surprised that he didn't even acknowledge our comments especially when I specifically told him that we were celebrating so focus on her wishes. The food was average. I was content but my wife was not happy with her dish and only ate about 1/3 of it. No one asked if she had any issues. They simply cleared the plate is if it was empty. I don't want to harp on this restaurant as I generally like the line but we are not happy with any of our Landry's owned restaurants over the past few years. I keep telling my wife that I don't want to go to any of their restaurants but she keeps wanting to use credits and birthday certificates earned on our Landry's club card. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this restaurant to my friends but I would not tell anyone not to go there either.

We ordered the pecan encrusted Tilapia with rum butter. The pecan encrusted Tilapia came with some kind of fruit mix on top and not the rum butter that was identified on the menu. Definitely not as good!

We went for a free Veteran's Day meal. We greatly appreciated the free meal, however were disappointed with it in the end. In addition, the service was very slow. I would go there for a free meal again, but I would never pay $25, which is what my meal would have cost if not free.

McCormick & Schmick's very generously treated my wife & I - both Army veterans - to a special Veterans Day meal. It was a special evening for us - the food was excellent and our service was superb. Many older veterans - like us - can recall times when military service to our nation was not recognized so this gesture is very much appreciated. On behalf of all military veterans, a special thanks to McCormick & Schmick's!

I went with my family and some friends. I ordered the fried shrimp and although it tasted good, I kept getting bits of shell when I would eat the shrimp. My friend ordered the beer battered fish and was very disappointed because there was more batter than fish. In all, it did not meet my expectation, which were very high because my husband and I had visited a McCormick in Atlanta a few years ago for our honeymoon and were completely blown away.

The food was wonderful, the service was good, though the waiter was young and perhaps a bit shy and not as friendly as some of the waiters have been; still he did a good job. And, the price was right! Two in our party were vets and we got their meals free for Veteran's Day and we used our Benefits card and the bill for 4 came to under $24 plus tip. I like to patronize a place that recognizes the sacrifices of our vets. The price was unbelievable; and the food was delicious, as always. This is one of our favorite places.

McCormick & Schick's hosts an annual Veteran's Appreciation Day on the Sunday before Veteran's Day. Veterans receive a complimentary meal. This is my fifth year to attend with my family and, as always, it was an honor to be recognized by McCormick & Schmick's. The service was great, food delicious, service promt, and the manager on-duty visited every table to ensure a pleasant dining experience. We dine at McCormick & Schmick's year around but this is really a special occasion.

My husband and I are both veterans and received their Landry's notification about M&S's Veterans Day complimentary meal for all veterans. I booked table on OpenTable.com and was very glad I did. It was quite busy with large groups of military families. Katie provided wonderful service for us and made some excellent suggestions! If they continue this tradition, my husband and I hope to be back next year! Thank you so much!

We walked into an empty dining room, and got a good table. The waitress was clearly overbooked with tables and disorganized. I truly think that it was the floor that was generally disorganized, not the poor waitress. The food was really good, but not very hot. This was a consequence of the poor service. They did comp a dessert and glass of wine to ameliorate our dissatisfaction. I would recommend this restaurant for good seafood.

Dinner was great. Great deal on Mondays with the steak and lobster $7 cheaper. Everything was cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed that everyone knew it was my wife's birthday and took time to wish her a happy one. The only downside was that the valet seemed to disappear about the time we wanted our car. It was a cold and wet night and I don't know where they go for shelter but it is not apparent to people standing inside. I waited for several minutes inside to see if he was bringing around another car, walked outside to the empty podium and then back in for a few more minutes before he suddenly appeared. They need a better system, especially with the winter months starting.

We like this restaurant because, unlike so many, it is quiet, allowing a conversation without shouting. However at this last visit, service was notably slow. Also, while the main course arrived piping hot, the side dishes were cool and not very tasty. The Wahoo Pesto had 1/2 teaspoon of pesto on top, if that much. Altogether a non memorable dinner.

The food is always consistently good. We sat in the bar instead of the more formal dining room. Our waitress was to let the dining room know we decided to sit in the bar but then we got a note from Open Table saying we didn't show up for our reservation. Either she dropped the ball or the staff in dining room neglected to note it.

My friend and I have been coming to this McCormick's for quite some time. Typically we are waited on by David but that was not the case this time. Next time I make reservations I'll ask to be sat in David's area as he is the best waiter I've ever had. His attention to detail, recommendations and checking on us appropriately is superb. I had the sesame crusted Albacore Tuna which was overly crusted and I was expecting a more rare piece which was not the case. David would have explained that so I would have chosen a different dish. Our waiter on this occasion did not check on us enough in our 1 1/2 hours and we barely had time for coffee. I still love McCormick's and will patronize but definitely will be asking for David as our waiter ;-)

Four friends enjoyed a leisurely Sunday dinner at this lovely restaurant with lots of dark wood and plush carpets. Our food was very good but not gourmet. Our dishes included lobster tail, scallops and a special steak and lobster plate. The steak was juicy and tasty. The lobster was fine but not as excellent as I have had. The side of spinach was a generous portion. Desserts of gluten free chocolate cake and apple pie with ice cream were very good. Service was professional. The cost was $50 each plus tip and this included a glass of wine.

The food was good, but the service was questionable. It took us about 15 minutes to get the drinks we ordered and then about another 15 for them to come back to take our order. Other tables that came in around the same time as us seemed to be getting taken care of with no problems, so it may have been our particular server.
