  • "As a long-time patron of M&S, we dined with another couple Friday night. I was embarrassed and disappointed at the sub-par level of service, which spoiled the altogether great efforts of the valet, maitre'd, and chef. Our server absent for extended periods, did not offer us water or fresh-baked bread. Dirty plates sat in front of us for a good 20 minutes. At nearly $400 tab for the table, not good value. Food, however was superb. A dozen West-coast oysters, fresh with no grit and lovely taste. Asparagus salad, crab cakes to start, followed by orange glazed mahi mahi that was the best I had ever tasted, Cobia and Spring vegetables, outstanding. For desert, the pecan pie-a-la-mode was rich and delicious."

  • "I go to the DTC McCormick's several times a year, but I especially go around St. Patrick's Day. I love that McCormick's is such a classy Irish restaurant. The food is always outstanding as well as the server (I forget his name). The manager always makes it a point to visit the table as well. It was a perfect dining experience. Thank you for your stellar customer focus."

  • "We reserved a booth two weeks ahead of time, arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early, required to sit and wait for about 10 minutes, we reminded the hostess that we reserved a booth, that sat us at a 4-top, then made us wait another 10 minutes for a booth. The waitress was exceptional and the food was very good. The manager and hostess did not seem to care about service."

  • "I was initially excited to eat here as I had heard good things. When I was greeted by an energetic and friendly valet, I didn't expect it to be the high point of the evening. The overall aesthetic of the restaurant is nice, and found it to be laid out well. However, from there, the experience began to head south. Our waitress, while friendly, was not very knowledgeable of the menu. Nor was she very attentive. I'm not a very needy patron when eating out, but I do expect to see the wait staff on a more frequent basis than every 15-20 mins. In addition, we could hear various wait staff arguing over messes at their stations around the corner. That, along with 'okay' food soured the experience. I don't expect to return again anytime soon."

  • "Disappointed, normally a great meal but the service was very slow. I almost dialed the hostess from my table to get her attention - drinks wrong - have to ask for water. Food was cold - had to be sent back. Desert was good. It will be a while before I give them another shot."

  • "昼ご飯食べて、全然お腹がすかずに入場しました(予約してたので…) オニオンスープと骨付きリブ(22oz)を注文しました。 オニオンスープはなんか1000円程度でした。 オニオンスープというか不思議な飲み物でした。 美味しかったかと聞かれると、よくわかりません。 アメリカのオニオンスープってこんなかんじなのかと思いました。 チーズが上に結構のっていて、日本で考えると1000円って、チーズ代って感じですね。 そこそこお腹はふくれます。 骨付きリブは日本ではたべられないので、食べてみました。 ミディアムレアで。 塩が結構きいてました。 22ozは重かったです。 お腹すかせていけば、美味しく完食出来たと思います。 結構にぎわっていましたが、高級感はとてもあり、 従業員の対応も親切でした。 お金があれば、言っていれば良いと思います。 因みに結構暗いので、写真はなかなか上手く撮れません。"

  • "McCormick's in the tech center on a Friday night. Bar area was fairly lively, restaurant nearly empty. Service was slow and waitress seemed overworked. Dessert arrived and was finished before the after dinner coffee arrived. Food was delicious but expensive. So you think that if you're paying a premium at least the service would be excellent. I don't fault the waitress, maybe they just need more staff?"

  • "I've lived in New England, but this is the best lobster tail I've ever had! It was very nice and tender! I will definitely order it again when I go back. We had a reservation and we were seated promptly. I'm finding this to be rare because a lot of restaurants will make you wait a few minutes even if you have a reservation. We went for 5280 Denver Restaurant week, and even though it was packed, we got good service and really enjoyed ourselves."

  • "First time diner at McCormick and Schmicks, I asked the server to check my bill, I had some questions about some charges but he did not review the bill. The next day the manager refunded me the overcharge but did not offer anything extra off the bill for my trouble. I told her that it was my first time dining there and that because of this experience I probably would not be back. She said, "that is the best I can do". I will not be going back to McCormick and Schmicks. Shame on the manager Juliana for not recognizing that she was losing a customer."

  • "We have had dinner on many occasions at M & S. On each previous occasion everything was at least very good to outstanding. We were a bit disappointed this weekend for the 1st time. Meals came to the table a bit on the cool side and by the time we were half way through it had cooled to the point where it wasn't enjoyable. We also had to wait a couple minutes after the food arrived because they failed to replace our forks. We ordered Carrot cake and the taste and texture led us to believe it was a couple of days old. Finally, the coffee took too long to arrive and as so many restaurants seems to do - I was told that the delay was because they had to brew a fresh pot. We will go back again and believe that this weekend was an aberration."

  • "My husband and I have been doing the Denver Restaurant Week for a few years now in hopes of finding a good restaurant that would become a favorite of ours. We've been to quite a few, and most were disappointing. Mostly because they cram extra tables in and overbook. McCormick and Schmick's was a pleasant surprise! The wait was not very long for a Friday night. It was certainly busy, but the staff handled it with ease. From the hostess to our server, Emma. They also accommodated my request for booth seating, which NEVER happened before during restaurant week. The food was great from the apps to dessert. My husband even cleaned his plate! Drinks were tasty too. Regular menu is a bit pricey. We will certainly being visiting again."

  • "We were seated exactly at our reservation time. The room we were in was fairly quiet and not too crowded. We ordered an appetizer in addition to our Restaurant Week choice. We all ordered the stuffed salmon which was very good and a nice size portion. Two of us even needed a to go box. Overall a good time and good meal."

  • "We hadn't been to Mccormick's together so thought we would try it. Both of us had dined here with professional groups and they do a great job. This was for are 'romantic date-night'. This may have made it more noisy but the level was still okay. If you want a really quiet or romantic time ask for a booth. Our server, Katie was amazing from knowing her wine to checking on us to make sure all was perfect. The food was a bit fast which maybe do to 5280 so I want to try it on another evening and see."

  • "Four of us decided to go try McCormicks because of the 5280 week. It's far from where we live, so we always forget about it being there. We won't forget anymore. The food was beautiful and tasty and the wait staff was wonderful We got there early, so spent time in the bar for happy hour. They have a wonderful happy hour and I would go back just for that. The only thing I would want to change is the noise level. It was pretty loud even in the dining room. No ideas how to change that because it seems they are always packed with people. Shows you that they are good."

  • "Went with some friends and felt like we were imposing by picking of the restaurant week menu. 1 out of 3 drinks came out wrong, never ordered our appetizer, my dinner came out wrong. Felt like we were not very important since we were there for restaurant week and our bill was close to $175. The portions were very tiny and as a girl was not full. I did like that one of the 2 dessert options was gluten free."

  • "We made the res weeks ago for an 80th bday celebration. We were placed at an 8 top at the rear of the restaurant. 3 open seats between the group. This despite the fact that there were several large booths which could have accomodated our group so that we could speak without yelling to each other. Freezing-we all had our jackets on through dinner. We asked a couple of times about the blowing air/cold, and was told it would be warmer soon. Froze our way through a mediocre dinner."

  • "The food was to die for. We went during restaurant week and the food selection was great. The food was cooked perfectly and was just the right amount. Our waiter David was very helpful and nice. My only complaint was this is no longer called 5280 week but instead The Denver Restaurant Week and the cost has gone up to $30 per person. It makes me feel the restaurant's have gotten greedy and it makes it harder for people who can't normally afford to go to expensive restaurants to eat."
