I tried this location of the well known upscale seafood restaurant chain and was not disappointed. I had the fresh Coho salmon, cooker perfectly medium rare, with tremendous seasoning and flavor. I also had the glazed grilled Fall vegetables, which were fabulous. The blue cheese wedge salad was a great start. I was eating alone, but the server was still attentive, which is often not the case when eating alone. All and all, a very enjoyable meal!

All if our dining choices, including the wine selection was not disappointing. Two of us had fish selections - pecan crusted tilapia and almond crusted trout. Although the place was pretty hopping, it did not feel overly crowded or noisy. This was such a pleasant change from other establishments. I would not hesitate to go back or to bring out of town guests here!

there were 13 of us and M&S was able to accommodate us at a single table. Unfortunately, there was one meal served late. However, they comped the meal. given the restaurant was packed, there was a little bit more noise then I would ave preferred, but we contributed to it. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal and having this family get together was a memorable night.

We hosted a small dinner with our 17 of our closest friends to celebrate our upcoming wedding. Despite the group's size and multiple orders, the waiter remained patient, lively, and attentive throughout the evening. The hostess and manager were very accommodating when we arrived 20 minutes prior to our reservation time and promptly seated us. The chef also personally spoke to us and asked whether our food was cooked to our liking. Our 9-month old son remained entertained throughout the evening with the help of the waiter and chef. We would hands down recommend this location/restaurant as well as dine here again!

The restaurant and bar were extremely crowded and noisy, so we sat outside to be able to hear each other talk. Service was somewhat erratic and inconsistent because our server seemed to be the only one working outside tables. Our orders came almost too quickly, one order was confused, the meal was just okay, nothing memorable, and our final coffee order was confused - caffeinated rather than decaf coffee! Disappointing, and mediocre are the best I can say. With other restaurants in Crystal City, we probably won't be back.

Service was not up to par. Could have been just our waitress for the night. Apps and sides were pushed onto us. Food took around 50 minutes to come out after ordering. Waitress never gave us an update until we asked 45 minutes in. The food quality was a bit less than average and portions were small. One of the dishes (Ultimate Mixed Grill) tasted like the food was all frozen. Shrimp was rubbery and bland, vegetables were squishy. Probably would not come back to this restaurant chain after this experience, let alone, the location in Crystal City.

Food was great, venue was great, service was Good especially given our server had two large parties (12+) besides our table and another - seemed like the same music was playing over and over. Not sure if there is a way to change the background music. The bacon wrapped shrimp with pepper jack cheese was fantastic. Compliments to the Chef!

I have become a fan of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood in Crystal City. Where years ago, I avoided this location in order to maintain my sanity, it has made a phoenix like recovery. The appetizer happy hour menu is phenomenal and Nick the bartender is always willing to take up a whiskey challenge and introduce a new cocktail to me. The management in the past was disengaged but now they are seen on the floor getting to know their clientele. With the slow death of Morton's down the block (mostly due to the departure of their former GM, Stephen), M&S has become the new home for my dietary and mixing habits.

We took our 3 children for a nice family dinner--spent $250. Server was very nice but the food and timing of food was not up to our expectations. My daughter ordered soup, meal and dessert option. Her soup arrived after her meal. My salad did not show up at all. My food had been put under a heat lamp to keep warm as my potatoes had a hard she'll around them. Same with my other daughter's salmon which would have been amazing had it not sat and dried out. When spending the money for dinner out, we expect much better.

We had a nice experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a party of four, shared an appetizer, and each had a different entree and dessert. IMO, the food was good, a little overpriced for the quality. My only complaint would be that we waited 20 minutes for the desserts. Our waitress was apoplectic, but it would have been nice if a manager had come over to acknowledge the wait.

The food was ok. My steak was overcooked and I heard someone at a nearby table complain about the same. The portions were also pretty small--the only of the 3 restaurants I went to over the week that I didn't have anything to take home for another meal. Additionally, my friend and I felt very rushed (even though the restaurant was fairly empty). The entrees came out before we were even done with our appetizers, and everything just felt hurried.

We started at the bar during happy hour for the reduced price drinks. Bartender was great as were the Mojito's. We took advantage of the restaurant week special--the food was very good. We especially enjoyed the fresh lobster tail. Was disappointed with the small dessert when we were expecting the regular apple tart--this wasn't quite the same dessert. Stacy, our waitress, was very dynamic and made sure I food came at the right time.

I went to dinner with my daughter's family, including 3 grandchildren who can be a handful. I was most impressed by the seating arrangements. We were put in a secluded room with only 3 other tables, which made us feel like we were not impacting anyone trying to have a romantic evening, and we felt like we were having a nice family get-together. The entire staff was very patient with the children, using gentle guiding instead of impatience and irritation as you sometimes find in restaurant staff. We were all treated like we were special and everyone made us feel like whatever we wanted could be accommodated. We had a very special, relaxing evening that I will remember for a long time.

Excellent server. Food was decent (came for an early dinner, and our potatoes were not cooked through, but everything else was delicious). Customer base is a mix of tourists, classy locals, and people who appear to have never eaten outside of a Popeyes. Not much the restaurant can do to fix that, unfortunately.

We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary, needless to say were expecting a "special" dinner. The good, our server Mia was great, very attentive, knowledgeable, with a wonderful personality. The timeliness of the various courses were perfect, never felt rushed, paced just right. The not so good: Ordered my strip steak medium-well, meaning there should be a nice layer of pink. Well, when the steak arrived it was over cooked by a lot, again, the staff was very attentive, and apologetic. The next steak that came out, slightly better, but still overcooked. I didn't send it back, because I didn't want my wife to eat alone. We ordered asparagus, never got them. We pointed it out to Mia who offered to got them, we said don't bother.
