For what you pay the food was below average. The breading on the shrimp was similar to Captain D's. The plate was a mess and the cocktail sauce had spilled down the side. The broccoli was mostly stems. The crab and corn soup was cold and really had very little crab.

Even for a special occasion, it's just not worth it...food is way overpriced. While I'm no stranger to spending big money at restaurants, nothing we ate was anywhere near worth the price...except, maybe the carrot cake. With that one exception, there was really nothing "special" about the food at all. No big deal....

My husband and I both had fish dishes which were excellant; both in taste and preparation. The server was also very helpful in dealing with my husbands' allergy needs. It was a very busy night but the food came in a timely manner. I also always enjoy the mildly sourdough fresh bread.

We have eaten at Easton several times and I think the food has steadily declined. I had Salmon and it was warm and overcooked. I had a wedge salad and the lettuce was just above room temp and maybe 1 tablespoon of dressing not nearly enough. My wife's tilapia was good but her green beans at best we're just blanched not cooked. Her buttermut Squash Orzo the squash was hard and the Orzo was not creamy

First time visitor to this restaurant, it was Veterans Day. Arrived on time with reservations. It was after seating that the wait began. We sat waiting to be waited on for over fifteen minutes just for our drink order to be taken. The only person that stopped by was a manager to inquire who the veteran was and to thank me for my service. The waitress finally appeared, which I had not seen her until then, even at a table. I ordered off their limited menu, cedar planked salmon, roasted potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. The salmon was smaller than my fist and I may have gotten ten pieces of potato and four seasonal vegetables. My wife had a chopped salad and blue crab corn chowder, the chowder was by far the best offering of the meal

We went for Veterans Day. Everyone in the group was pleased with their food and service. Our group consisted of 2 single women and 3 single men. All friends and Veterans. It was an enjoyable experience. We will be going back on our own when we can be full paying customers. We thank them for their service to the Veteran community. Two of us had Salmon and three had beef medallions. Everyone thought the food was very good. We were curious as to why Cedar Plank Salmon came with squash and roasted potatoes and the grilled Salmon came with green beans and mashed potatoes?

The cocktails and food were prepared well. We sampled a few things from their special Fall menu. The wine list is good but very overpriced (triple retail prices at least). Our server was solid but somewhat slow despite the restaurant not being full on a Friday evening. When making the reservation I noted this was a special occasion, but the restaurant didn't mention or ask about it during out visit.

I had dinner here a few years ago and was impressed so decided to stop for dinner on a return trip to Columbus. Mistake! We each ordered a Mojito for a cocktail. The worst Mojitos we ever had. First of all, I had to ask our waiter as he was serving our dinner about the drinks. He had forgotten the drink order. The Mojito was thick like a milkshake, way too sweet (too much syrup we think) and the bartender had forgotten the lime. The seared tuna for dinner was flat and bland. Honestly, the seared tuna salad at Outback beats this hands down for a fraction of the price. The lobster mashed potatoes were inedible. The potatoes were watery and the brown gravy had a flat flavor. We declined dessert. Left feeling as if I was fleeced out of $100!

Our reservation was for 7:15 and we arrived early. We were seated immediately.....on A Friday night. I ordered the scallops with crab potato hash. Scallops were good-nothing spectacular and for $30, I had four scallops. The hash was awesome! My husband ordered the New York Strip-$38. He said it was good, not great. Service was prompt and atmosphere was good. Would I go back? Maybe, but probably not.

The food was very expensive for the quality received and not outstanding. Steak came with a few spears of undercooked asparagus and an out of season roma tomato half. Pricing was way too high for the lack of quality. Service was just ok. Have eaten at many steak and seafood establishments. This was the lowest quality.

We were here to celebrate our anniversary and it will be the last time we dine at McCormick & Schmick's. The food is overpriced for the quality. Portion sizes are small. I ordered the Stuffed Shrimp dinner and could barely eat it because the plate was covered in a vinegar "marinade" (which was not mentioned in the menu description) plus the mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. When our server was told about my food he simply said "I'm sorry" and said he would let the kitchen know but he did not offer to do anything to improve the experience.

I don't know what happened but a usually consistent restaurant completely fell apart. It took 45 minutes to get a cold crab appetizer which fortunately was very good. A wedge salad arrived without bacon; the kitchen's explanation "we ran out"! Steak arrived not properly cooked and had to be sent back. This whole dining experience took so long that we missed the start of a concert we were attending. We sat at the bar and our poor bartender was just so embarrassed at the quality of the food and the long waits. He was the saving grace of this horrendous experience. The manager comped most of our meal and I am sure she had to do a lot of that on this particular evening. Hopefully M & S will get the kitchen problems ironed out soon.

This restaraunt is one of my go-to places because it's usually consistant and delicious. My last visit was disapointing. The service was lack luster and the food was either cold or burnt. The server did remove it from my bill and offered me another dish, which was nice. It seemed as though they were understaffed or not properly trained. Hopefully they get it together. I am not going to dine there for a bit and hope they get it together.

I've had great meals at McCormick & Schmicks in the past, but this experience was disappointing. The service was very slow -- our waiter was not very attentive at all. The food was just okay. The salads were very good, but the trout and salmon were both dry and lacking in flavor. However, the atmosphere is very nice and they have a good wine list.

Celebrating a son and mother reunion on his 27th birthday!!! I emailed the restaurant and didn't receive a reply!!! We started our date in the bar area for Happy Hour, we didn't receive any appetizer plate, silverware, or napkins. I guess we was to eat with our hands and wipe on our pants. Then we proceeded to dinner area. There was a party of 7 and out of the seven only 3 people even ate the meal. Food was cold and poorly prepared. POOR customer service even from the manager...
