  • "It was the first time my wife and I dined in this facility. The menu fit her requests and our wants for our 1 yr anniversary. Restaurant was not busy, so it was pretty quite. Service was outstanding and the timing between each course was near perfect. We were not getting each course right after the previous, so you had time to eat and converse while the other was being prepared. Food was cooked to specifications. Empty plates were removed within a timely fashion"

  • "We ordered the Monday Surf and Turf and 8oz Filet. Everything was a bit on the salty side. Calamari appetizer was pretty good. Server was very attentive. He noticed we used our Landry's birthday reward points when we paid and offered to bring us a complimentary dessert. Overall experience was just OK. Expected a little bit more from the food."

  • "We dined on the pation to enjoy the beautiful evening. The service was excellent. The bread is one of my favorites - sourdough served warm. I had the steak and lobster for dinner - nice filet medallions in a bourdelaise sauce with a lobster tail - perfectly cooked and just the right portion size. The white chocolate mousse and strawberries served in an almond cookie basket was awesome - a nice, light, refreshing dessert to satisfy those of us with a sweet tooth."

  • "My $32 copper river salmon dinner looked and tasted like Atlantic farm raised salmon. I was surprised to see it on a menu in August, given the brief time the fish is usually available. Our side of Gruyere mashed tasted like a box mix of mashed potatoes with a modest sprinkling of cheese baked into it. Sort of granular and not at all tasty or gooey or "share-worthy". The haricot vert and carrot dish accompanying the salmon was excellent. My wife had the crusted trout, which she proclaimed "OK". Same green bean side dish. Fortunately, we had a nice bottle (plus) of Jordan to wash everything down. Overall, disappointing for the money. Outdoor dining was wonderful, as was our server."

  • "Food was good prices great. Need more seasoning though on items. Firecracker shrimp was good but lacked umph. Calamarie was a little fishy and chewy. Bruchetta was good but needed a little more sauce or spice than just tomatos chopped. Lettuce wraps were good but could be improved w a peanut sauce or aioli. Steak tartar was good but salad again needed a little umph. Quality was good but I would definetly step up flavor/seasonuing. Price #1 Service #1 Qualtiy #1 but memorable in taste #5 middle of the road. Wouldn't crave any of them. Would go back if suggested by friends."

  • "Warm and inviting--great ambiance. Service was excellent. Fried Calamari had vegetables mixed in--not included in the discription but blended well and was delicious. The shrimp trio was to die for!!! Served with green beans and rice--perfect blend of flavors. My husband said the snapper was fabulous. Delicious cosmos. Creme brule was the perfect topper. Can't wait to go back."

  • "My fiancé and I were very disappointed after going to this restaurant. We had herd this restaurant was supposed to be amazing. We went during restaurant week to just get an all around tast and experience of the place. We waited over 30 mins just for our appetizers and left after an hour and 20mins! We did not even get our entrée! Very disappointed!! I will never go back! For a supposed "high end" restaurant, it was horrible and a waste of time."

  • "The charity menu for restaurant week had to be requested as it was not promoted by the restaurant. Since I had used the open table reservation and thereby identified as a patron of the food bank it was disconcerting to redirect the waiter staff that I was there for the fixed price food bank menu. The beef medallions were cooked improperly and had a pedestrian flavor. The lobster exceeded expectations and was a generous size. The flavor was stellar."

  • "My wife and I live in Florida. Our two local McCormick and Schmick's restaurants have closed and been replaced by very successful restaurants in the same locations. We visited Ohio with our son and his family and decided to give M&S another try. Starting our my wife's cocktail has black specks in it. We asked it to remade and it came back half full and not cold. My salmon had little taste other than salt. Last time for us. We won't be back"

  • "We were happy with the service, Caesar salad was delicious! Calamari was good. I had the lobster and steak and my husband had the stuffed shrimp and steak. We both cam e to the conclusion the steak was ok. We thought it would be more tender and have more flavor for the price of the meal. Both pieces of seafood were great."

  • "Six of us went expecting good seafood and were overall disappointed. We ordered mussels as one of our appetizers and received the wrong dish. We ordered the one on their anniversary menu and got the one described on the regular menu. By the time the waiter stopped by again, the mussels had been eaten and we didn't bother mentioning it. I t would have been nice if he stopped by before they were all gone. Two of our guests ordered the salmon with a berry reduction. The salmon was overcooked and tasteless. My tuna was tasty. I don't remember what the other three diners had, I only remember they were unimpressed. With a bill over $250, we expected better. The apple pie and chocolate mousse cake were great."

  • "This is my favorite restaurant in town. On this occasion, my wife and I went to celebrate my getting a new job. We chose to sit outside as the weather was very good that evening. As always the food was great. I had the scallops as suggested by the server and my wife had swordfish which she had never had before. We were very satisfied with the food. The swordfish was exceptional. The scallops were good although they were served with a potato and crab side, but in my opinion could have had more crab. We were happy with our meals. The service was good, but not as good as usual. The server was very pleasant and knowledgeable about, but not as attentive. This was due to it being busy in our section. Overall it was a good night."

  • "I had the halibut with vegetable orzo, SO DELICIOUS! My son had steak and lobster three-course dinner with Caesar salad and apple pie ala mode--all wonderful! I also had clam chowder--best in Columbus! My husband had mussels and special tomato salad, everything was perfect! We Love this restaurant!"

  • "We were seated and ordered an appetizer of 6 oysters. After about 10mins the server came back and said they were running behind on the oysters. No big deal. 10 mins later he brings out the oysters and there's 11 of them. We try to look for the guy for about 5 mins and then decided to start eating them before they warm up. Eventually another employee comes out looks our table and then walks back to the back and proceeds to complain loudly, "Who the F@$& eats a dozen oysters when you order 6?!" Our server then comes out and asks if there was a mix up at our table. He says not to worry and to finish the extra oysters. The rest of the night went well except they forgot the strawberry salsa on my chef special. Our server was great and fixed it."

  • "We have had many of holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. but last night for our grandson's 17th birthday the dinner was HORRIBLE!!!!! We weren't the only ones, people were walking out, manager had to give free meals, etc. The wait time was bad and then the food was bad and one meal had to be sent back TWICE and when it finally came out ok the rest of us had most of had most of our dinners eaten. I hope this isn't becoming a trend because at this point I can think of a lot of other resturaunts that would welcome our $500. to you but it is to us when we bring our family for a good meal and it stinks!!!"

The food presentation on the plate would have been subpar for Dennys. This restaurant gives every appearance of one trying to use up their remaining food in preparation for closing that location."

  • "I brought my friend to this restaurant for his birthday and I am very glad I did. It was both of our first times eating here. They gave him a menu that read "Happy 30th Birthday" and it felt very specialized. They even brought out a dessert for him at the end that was delicious."

  • "We were excited to return to this restaurant, as we had our rehearsal dinner here when we got married. Unfortunately, the food was sub par. The calamari was nearly 50% fried vegetables, my $30 scallop meal had 4 small scallops. Mashed potatoes were "meh"/no flavor. Overall, a miss. Given the price point, I will not be returning."

  • "Made a reservation for a retirement dinner. Requested special menues personalized, not ready, so sat for 30 minutes with no menus then brought generic menu anyway. Dinner fine but went to order dessert and they were out of three things ended up with sorbet, not exactly special. No apology and it was a 6pm reservation so not like last table of the night. I felt bad since I picked the place for our celebration and the honored guest loves seafood and never been. This is the second time we have been disappointed, may need to rethink our special occasion selection."

  • "Overall the entire dining experience was a large negative. Our first dining experience there. Paid a lot of money to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary but did not get a high return on our investment. Wife had the salmon which was greasy and not a lot of quality flavor. I had the steak and it was over cooked. Limited side items to choose from. Topped off by what we both felt was poor service from our waitress who seemed to have an " attitude ". Definitely would look at better dining options in the future. Sorry but a $ 100 + meal (with tip) deserves more. Patrick McGuff"

  • "Dined here to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. The chef special 3 course menu was outstanding and I would highly recommend it. Soup or salad, choice of 1 of 4 entrees and choice of 1 of 2 desserts. All perfectly prepared and delicious. Service was outstanding. In addition, they have a great happy hour in the bar. All in all a perfect evening."
