  • "All was perfect until my brother-in-law's PLAIN grilled swordfish did not arrive with everyone elses dinner. They did notice us all waiting for his dish to arrive and took his meal off the bill. Would've appreciated our server to be more attentive on this mix-up. Shrimp kisses and lobster bisque apps were delicious. Great meeting place near outskirts of Philly in Cherry Hill."

I would come back to MC and S again because they were so nice to my mom and because we enjoyed the food very much and would like to try other things on the menu. Thank you."

  • "We visited this restaurant for a special night out. The atmosphere and service were nice as expected. I wanted to return to this restaurant because we enjoyed it so much the previous time we visited. Although the food was generally good, my entree was not as expected. I ordered the Parmesan crusted flounder and was surprised it was pan-fried and a little bland. I'm not a foodie, so I guess it was my own lack of knowledge that "Parmesan crusted" would be fried, not baked or broiled as I had hoped. Still, for the cost of the meal, it really wasn't as good as I had hoped. The butternut squash orzo didn't have much flavor and the green beans, while tasty, were doused in oil. I may still return on occasion, but was disappointed this time."

  • "We went to dinner on Valentine's Day. Fortunately for us, our reservation was just before the dinner rush. I don't think our new server would have been able to handle it if we had arrived just a half hour later. It was the only problem with our entire meal. Yes, the place is pricey, but the food was fabulous. We enjoyed everything we had from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts. My wife did think the creme brûlée was a little on the runny side, however."

  • "We took our daughter for her birthday.. The appetizers were very small portion. The lobsters bisque soup was okay, but not the best I've had.. There was quite a lull between courses. My daughter did not care for her meal at all (they did take it off the bill) and I was embarrassed at the small size portion that her date received on his meal. Our server was very nice but otherwise I don't think I'd go back and wouldn't recommend to a friend. Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food we received."

  • "I had the special mahi mahi and was happy with the fact that most of my meal was hot, lobster on top was cold and maybe that was the way it was supposed to be. My husband had the triple combination and the salmon was a small portion and although there were 5 shrimp they were very small. We had an appetizer crab tower for two that was a waste of money. What I want to complain about is both the crab and lobster did NOT taste fresh. I would have said they came out of a can. A seafood restaurant on the east cost should not have this problem. Crème brulee was very good but again on the small side and even the coffee cups at $3.50 a piece were tiny.. Our waitress, Mary, did an excellent job taking care of us."

  • "As usual the food was great - I had the proscuitto wrapped salmon - new on the menu - it was very good. Staff very attentive - even the Manager came over to check on us since I had a new item. Arrived early for our reservation and were seated right away. The waiter answered all questions we asked and checked with the manager on the one thing he was unsure of."

  • "My husband and I had reservations on 3/14/14. This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we were very excited. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was how loud it was. Clearly it was coming from the bar. The noise continued after we were seated. Our server was nice, however the kitchen was extremely slow! It took almost 30 minutes for our entree!!! My salmon was cooked to hard and ny husband asked for extra sauce for his meal and that took 15 minutes because the chef was making a fresh batch. Overall, there was nothing special about this place and we won't be back."

  • "The restaurant it self was nice but it was very noise for the occasion. The waiter explained she was new but I guess she may have been over whelmed and stressed because our food took way to long and or didn't come out at all she had to keep apologizing and keep going back to check on the food from the kitchen. One of our dishes didn't come until after we finished our entrée. Desert was nice we did enjoy that.i ask for a private booth and was seated a regular booth and when seated seen a private booth opened. Every one (staff) was running around in a rush and being loud talking to each other."

  • "A funny thing happens when you are old you order a special that is available on Wednesdays on Tuesday. then your waiter comes over with it later during the meal I was informed it was a Wednesday special but they have afforded me the special today. My thought was WOW that is great customer service.. Thanks to Rod or server and Ellie the GM. Large corporation and so customer friendly and to boot the food is great. Good value fresh food what more could you want."

  • "We returned to M&S because of a great experience on Thanksgiving. We were not disappointed. From the Calamari, to Creme Brule, it was delicious. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer, nor more attentive. Prices were what's to be expected for both quality and location. The salad appetizers couldn't have been more fresh and tasty. We had 2 fish dishes, and one steak. We will be back!"

  • "Love the food here. This was the second time we were to dine here in the past month for my Mom's birthday. The last time it was so chilly inside, we ate with our coats on. Unfortunately, it was so chilly in the restaurant this past Sat night that after we ordered drinks we decided to leave and go to Brio where it was nice and warm and toasty. There were other guests wearing their coats while eating at McCormicks. A shame that they are not heating the space properly for comfort. All I can say is Burr!"

  • "It was my sons birthday called and made reservations for 8:45 on a Friday. Arrived at 8:40 wasn't seated until 9:25. Waited 1/2 an hour just to get asked what we wanted to drink. Another 20 before someone came back to take our order. Food took anotger 1/2 an hour and the food wasn't all that great. When we made the reservations we informed the staff that it was my sons bday. They brought out the dessert and sang bday to my son. We paid for horrible service and left. Never again!!!"

  • "I could tell from the beginning the vibe between table/waiter wasn't going to work. Not helpful when it came to picking out a drink and we also got a half full glass beer which we were told was the "end of the keg" ...I previously had a job where we received customer feed back online and it was usually helpful and I normally can't say a bad thing about a restaurant but this was prob just our luck."

  • "there were 5 of us. we waited for 15 minutes before getting our first drink and service moved very slowly. not having enough staff on hand, no one cleared our appetizer plates, no one cleared our drink glasses, no one gave us water. one persons meal was cold and she had to send it back without ordering anything else out of fear that it would take another hour to get served. I even reviewed the comments on open table and saw that others had similar experience, but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.....I was wrong. two others at our table did not have good food experiences.....the prices are high for a chain restaurant, so you expect the food to match the price. Not so. I would not go back."

  • "Way too noisy!!! Ordered Swordfish. Was so over cooked that you couldn't cut it with a knife. Ordered a Caesar Salad......AWFULL!!!!!! Looked like you just through some lettuce into a bowl. Lettuce was bad and brown, very little dressing and way over priced. Ordered the Salmon.....very dry. Would definetly not recommend this restaurant to anyone......ever!!!!"

  • "I had the 8oz filet and it was cooked wonderfully but I don't believe it was a quality piece of meat. It was very tough and not seasoned at all. My husband and daughter each had the shrimp trio with a crab cake substituted for the salmon. They said their platter was ok, the crab cake they both loved. My daughter had the clam chowder and sent it back, it tasted and smelled burnt. Overall, not worth the money!"

  • "The food here is always ok. The problem we had during our visit was the staffing. Our server was nice but not very experienced. She had absolutiely no help. Took 10 minutes just to get a glass of water.They also seated 3 tables for her within minutes of each other. She did everything - got water, drinks, bread, cleared tables and brought the food. There was no bussers to help. The food runners were a mess as they had no idea where to deliver the food. This I blame on management. Walk around and see what is going on. Upon leaving I asked the hostess where are the bussers? "In the back folding napkins". Really???"

  • "My husband and I had lunch on Valentine's day. The restaurant was disorganized. Errors were made and several customers had complaints. The manager did everything he could to handle the problems. We have eaten there several times before. This is the first time that we saw so many things go wrong at once. We trust this was an isolated occurrence."

The waiter was very slow and was apologetic about the slow service but once food arrive he did not come back to our table until we were ready for the ticket. He was again apologetic but by that time his apology feel one def ears. We understood the small delay because of Valentines Day but the service was less than admirable."

  • "Our dining experience was less than perfect and on Valentine's weekend no less :(. We would like to thank Open Table because without them, we would have waited for 1 1/2 hours. We made the reservation at 1845 in the parking lot, for a 1915 reservation. The restaurant was running behind and that was okay, we were just disappointed that we waited that long for poor service"
