The hostess kindly accommodated our reservation change. We arrived to a warm, friendly atmosphere, and had an excellent experience with our server, Erin, who took time helping us decide on our menu, and joined us in fun conversation -- she is a real gem! We had the King Salmon and the Baramundi, both were very delicious, though perhaps a bit modest on spices and portions (yes, even my French wife commented on that, which is unusual!:) The party next door was not in any way bothersome, it added to the outdoor terrace ambience. The terrace is inset from the street, so you are not seeing any street traffic whatsoever, it's a gracious little "haven in the Hills"!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant outdoor tablesPeople know this place very well, and with so many newer places opening, I was forgetting to go there. But it's a wonderful place to sit outside without traffic noise and fumes. The one thing I'd advise is to stay away from the fish and chips. The fish batter isf too heavy and greasy and the fries aren't all that great either. The chef at Cocina Primavera makes a much better fish and chips--very light.. Stick with fish cooked in other ways--it's good. Parking is easy for the location.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMI booked a reservation toI booked a reservation to celebrate the lady's and my 1st year anniversary, briefly mentioning that in the Open Table reservation. Not only were my minor requests met (quiet, away from kitchen), the General Manager (Terry, I think?) came to our table and congratulated us by name. The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, seated in the best booth in the house, free dessert via the GM... and the menu's were customized to read across the top, "HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY!"
This is how it's done, people. I am very grateful for such a flawless experience and evening.
